We came to this neat small hole in the wall breakfast place. There's limited first come seating but our wait was only a few minutes. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent with large portions. Family/kids friendly. Definitely recommend.

Small restaurant with 10 tables and 3 seats at the coffee bar. There is a sign in book and chairs outside as you may have to wait for seating. Coffee and food was good and the staff, pleasant and attentive...if you have time it's a pleasant experience.

Hey, get there early. They open at seven. It's usually pretty busy. The food's fantastic and the crew is awesome. Thanks again guys will stop by. Thanks for entertaining us.. now I have to go get a buzz somewhere on AMI.

We came to town for a wedding and it was the latest we had been out in years. Thankfully Minnie's was open early for breakfast and it was perfect. Its a nice family type diner. We noticed that a lot of locals cone in. Which tells us they know what their doing. The staff was friendly, asking us about the wedding. And they had the perfect coffee. The food was amazing with large portions. We had the Spanish Omelette & Blackstone eggs benedict. Do yourself a favor. Go to Minnie's

After hearing rave reviews on AMI's Facebook page about Minnie's Beach Cafe my expectations were high. However, my experience fell short. While the eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns didn't meet my request for crispiness. The vegetable egg burrito I sampled was good but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant itself felt dated and could benefit from some updating.

My ABSOLUTELY OBLITERATED French toast meal

We went here while vacationing in Florida. It is a cute little beachy mom & pop café. Service was super quick, and the two waitresses at the time were both nice. When our food arrived (I had ordered the full French toast meal), it was amazingly drenched in homemade whipped cream that was almost ice-cream like, as well as fresh cut strawberries. The sausage and eggs were excellent. It was a bit pricey, to tell the truth. Be warned, to add strawberries on top it is an extra $5! If you are in the Anna Marie Island areaI recommend stopping by!

Amazing breakfast place. Everything was amazing. The biscuits are huuuuge and homemade. 10/10

Stopped in while on the island for brunch. Small but great service and tasty food! Cash only but there's an ATM next door if you need it.

As we wandered about looking for someplace for dinner (the place we had intended for the evening was maxed out with one large party, so needed to look elsewhere) realized we just happened upon a place we had driven by a couple of times called "The Doctors Office". They had a beautiful garden area outside where people were dining, but it was a pretty warm night, so decided to check out the inside - where we found a really cool space and were greeted by the host asking: "Do you have an appointment?" (Get it? Doctors office...reservations...appointment!? Too cute a play on the doctor's office thing! : ) Well, we did NOT have said appointment (and the main dining area was quite full!) but thankfully there was one table remaining in the back lounge area, which was through a hidden door made to look like a bookshelf! This area also had its own cool vibe. Waiter (Matt) immediately placed two little medicine cups in front of us - to sample their cherry rum punch. Delish. I ordered a cocktail (cannot recall the name but along the lines of a manhattan) while my DH stayed with red wine (boooooo-ring! ; ) We shared the smoked salmon appetizer (super yummo!) Then on to dinner. OK, we're talking seafood country here! But, over the course of the several days we've been here, I ordered seafood every single time. I adore seafood but was ready for something else. So, was being realistic when I ordered something on the beef realm. Got the short rib dish and it did not disappoint. It was excellent. Maybe not the "easily shredded with a fork" ones I have had elsewhere, but certainly super tasty and not at all tough or fatty. DH got the shrimp-lobster tacos and said they were incredible! No leftovers coming home with this guy! Our waiter, Matt, was new to this establishment (but not waitering) and was attentive and personable - above and beyond. Would highly recommend. No, you're not going to get any water views (this place is sort of hidden away in an obscure spot behind a plaza) but well worth the visit!

She rudely told us it would be fine and that we could just move to another table if we started getting rained on--which made zero sense since we'd still be outside. I figured everyone has a bad day, so we let it go. Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing. The portions were way too small, the food wasn't nearly good enough for the price point, and the fish was severely overcooked. I probably wouldn't come back here for dinner, but if you're just looking for a good spot to grab drinks, it's worth a try.

Entered the lobby to a small area of 4 booths, then enter a larger room with multiple tables and a small bar at the end. We did not have reservations so offered the only option of the four tables up front, which was fine. Service from Ricardo was on point, prices average $36 for entrees. Each includes choice of starch, and was a great loaded baked potato, but not informed each item on the potato was a $1uo charge.. Salad substitution was available at $6.95 up charge, which I don't understand, so a few points off. Happy Hour ends at 530, which seems a bit early (and we were greeted at 533p, even 6 would be better, again minus points, but the drinks were ok at $8. Menu is heavy on Grouoer choices (and good Grouoer it was), with good sized portions. We both enjoyed our meals and the restaurant is located between an ice cream shop and a bar, if you want to continue the evening. We skipped dessert but they average $12 and sounded great. Food and service were both very good, just find all the up charges on a $36 meal annoying. Will be back and next time make reservations to be in the main room with the Adults!

The place is a little hole in the wall that gets quite a bit of traffic on the weekends, but we managed to get our food within 15 or so minutes despite the crowd. The food overall was good. Not amazing, not bad, just good. Burgers are easy to do well and hard to do REALLY well, and Skinny's knows this in stride. The burger itself is a fine deal (especially considering tourist prices): $9 for a cheeseburger. However, what put a sour taste in my mouth (metaphorically) was the chicken bites. See that little plate of 5-6 chicken nugget things? Yeah, that was $11. Very tasty, but at $2 a wing, that is truly the ripoff of a century. Overall, Skinny's hits the middle of the road in all aspects: food, ambiance, value. And when other joints are charging an arm and a leg for a decent meal, Skinny's stays true to its roots: a solid burger and fries, a cheap beer, and a full belly for under $20.

A cute little shop on AMI, we walked in and were immediately and Warmly greeted by the two servers behind the counter. They promptly took and prepared our order. We went soon after opening so we were able to snag one of the few tables indoors. (If you're coming with a group or later in the day, you're better off getting it to go.) My husband had the Arepa King, which was absolutely delicious. A slightly healthier arepa dough but still savory and blended perfectly with the egg, avocado, and feta flavors. The texture and amounts of each were perfectly proportioned. I snuck a few bites! He also got a beef empanada (baked, not fried, which we prefer) and a smoothie. It made me wish I got a smoothie! It was nice and thick (but not too thick), and sweet (but not too sweet). Exactly the way you want a smoothie. I got the detox juice (which I didn't realized was made per order, so refreshingly and had a nice frothy head) and the yogurt parfait. Once again, the proportions were perfect! A nice amount of yogurt, crunchy granola (again, sweet but not too sweet), and fresh blueberries, strawberries, and banana. It was exactly what I wanted before a hot day at the beach. We also got hot coffees, one black and one with their maple donut sugar free syrup. They had so many fun syrup flavors!! Definitely, definitely check this spot out for breakfast when on AMI.
