FOOD: The food here was great! It's so nice to have a good dumpling place close by. All the food we had was delicious! We started with the cream cheese rangoons, cucumber salad which were both really great. We ordered veggie fried rice, mapo tofu, chicken dumplings in chili sauce and green beans. Everything tasted really good! SERVICE: Our server, James was very friendly and helpful! He always checked on us and took our order and the food came out in a timely manner. AMBIANCE: When we walked in, James asked us if we wanted to go to the back area of the restaurant which had some additional seating and was more private. There were windows along the back wall with a view, which was nice. It was a good experience and we really enjoyed the food! Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Nice local dumpling house. We started with a cucumber salad (4/5 - make sure to stir it so you get all the good sauce on the bottom). We then tried: pork potstickers (4.5/5), pork wontons with spicy chili sauce (4.5/5), pork soup dumplings (4/5), and the orange chicken (4.75/5 - surprisingly good). Overall good experience. They have a big room in the back if you have a large party. Service was really nice for a fast casual location. Looks like they have one of those robot cats that delivers food, but since we were the only folks in the restaurant for lunch, the cat was not in operation. I would definitely come back.

Delicious food, stopped for lunch on my way to San Diego from Fullerton and everything was great. I recommend the Sweet Piggy Buns for Dessert.

It's my weekend of "YES!" in the OC, so of course I checked out Min's Dumpling, as suggested by Yelp friend Sherry C. (aka IG: aglassofsherry). I'm glad I did! I was welcomed in immediately and guided towards the menus. A large one on the wall, many laminated ones at the counter, and handed a tie-fold menu to look at. Everything looked good and it was challenge to not over order, but I've been craving dim sum and there were many options. Hubs was there for support, but not indulgence, so I ordered Shrimp & Pork Shu Mai: very tasty! Sweet Piggy Buns: YUM! (...and oh so CUTE!) A must get if you like soft, steamed bao w/slightly sweet custard filling. And Sesame Ball: these are always on my list as a must. Unfortunately, these were small, greasy, unevenly fried and not uniformly covered in sesame. They didn't satisfy my craving, so I'll have to find these again, maybe back in SGV on the way home. I was also wanting to add more clean protein and for that, broccoli chicken was perfect. The sauce was nice and light and there was a generous amount of chicken breast and lightly sautéed, still crunchy broccoli. They just launched new beverages so I opted for a Thai Tiger Milk w/traditional boba. It was good, but I think I'll stick to boba drinks from Sunright when I'm craving milk tea, boba and cheese foam. The interior of Min's is very cute and I wish I could've seen the robot server in action. Maybe next time I'm in the area, with a friend who likes to indulge in delicious, freshly made Chinese dishes, I'll pop back into Min's for the friendly service, nice decor and steamed bao. Cheers! To Go Order - E11. Fried String Beans, E10. Broccoli Beef

We placed a pick up order after seeing the UE BOGO promo for pork xiao long bao. Soup Dumplings 4/5: They were good, both in texture and flavor. They inclided black vinegar, soy sauce, and Sriracha. We would have enjoyed ginger and chili oil/crunch, but that may come down to their to go options. Scallion Pancakes 5/5: They were our favorite from the meal. The tasted so fresh, and they were crisp with a good chew. Fried String Beans 4/5: There was a generous amount of minced garlic that complimented the tang of the sauce, but they were a bit oily. Broccoli Beef 2/5: We would skip this if we return. The broccoli was well prepared, but there was no flavor to the beef and the sauce was clumpy and not the expected texture. The staff seemed genuinely nice and were attentive. I had to wait about 10 minutes for the order, but everything was hot and fresh.

Stopped by Min's Dumpling for a quick bite tonight. Very small restaurant but it was clean. I ordered the main entrees instead of dumplings. Chicken fried rice: very good flavor but definitely needs more chicken. Rice and protein could have been of a better ratio. Too much rice and not much chicken. For the few pieces of chicken in the dish, it was nice and tender meat. Sweet and sour chicken: requested without batter fried and they gladly did it. But it had too much of vinegar taste and way too much onions. The chicken again, was very tender and good. Maybe I ordered the wrong menu items? Next time I'll try the chicken and broccoli in brown sauce, Kung pao chicken, and/or shrimp with broccoli? Service was great. Tommy did everything himself: greet diners, take orders, serve, and clean up! And he was still pleasant and always smiling.

I'm so happy to find out Min's Dumpling opened a new location so close to home! I placed the order via Toast app and everything was ready upon arrival. Parking free, easy and plenty. You can also place the order using their two kiosks by the entrance or via server. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. I think it would be best if consumed onsite as everything tasted tepid and cold by the time I got home some 10 minutes later. The dumplings and wontons were wonderful. Flavorful and had just the right amount of filling and great texture. Scallion pancakes were ok. The oil tasted stale and I wish I had some sort of dipping sauce to go with it. The sesame balls were delicious. I could eat a whole two dozen of it. Can't wait to go back again in the near future!

Broccoli Beef Lunch Bento Box. Tender slices of beef with crisp-tender broccoli. So delicious!

Ordered for delivery through DoorDash, and everything arrived neatly packed and still wonderfully hot; always a good sign before the first bite! THE FOOD. - Classic Pork Soup Dumplings. Each dumpling bursts with juicy, savory broth and tender pork. I think it goes without saying, poke a small hole to release the steam and sip the broth; biting into it could lead to unintended splatter! - Hot & Sour Soup. A bright, tangy-sweet broth with strips of tofu and egg. Comforting, balanced, and exactly what you hope for from a classic. - Broccoli Beef Lunch Bento Box. Tender slices of beef with crisp-tender broccoli. So delicious! It also comes with a side of rice and Persian cucumber salad. Highly recommend. - Honey Walnut Shrimp Lunch Bento Box. Plump shrimp coated in a sweet, creamy sauce, and paired with crunchy walnuts for texture. I didn't think the two would pair well together, but it works! - Kung Pao Beef. Flavorful stir-fry of tender beef, peanuts, and veggies tossed in a savory-sweet chili sauce. The spice is mild, which perfectly suited my palette. Highly recommend! THE VERDICT. Their meats are great quality and flavors are on point. Honestly, that's all I ever ask from a place, and they definitely deliver.

Restaurant is large and spacious. Decor is clean and modern. Seating is close but not crowded. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered: A1. Cucumber Salad: good, slightly sweet, generous garlic D1. Classic Pork Soup Dumplings [6 pcs] : Good, nice overall flavor D3. Pork Pot Stickers [8 pcs]: good, nice crust, slightly underwhelming on the filling amount D10. Sweet Piggy Buns [4 pcs]: great, fluffy, sweet, custardy E5. Honey Walnut Shrimp: good, nice texture and sauce, sweet walnuts TLDR: Great service, good food, excellent establishment, good value. Would recommend!

The food was really tasty! We got the Kung Pao chicken, beef fried rice, wontons in chili oil, and sweet buns. Everything was brought out promptly and tasted so good. The restaurant itself is really clean with great ventilation because we didn't smell much of the food until it was brought to our table. The waiter was really friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

We love XLB so we were excited to try this new dumpling spot so close to home. You order on a kiosk and then find a table. Ordering is easy and the restaurant is clean with friendly staff. We have eaten many xlb from many different spots and we ordered a couple of dishes that we usually get when we go out for dumplings and here are my thoughts: Cukes - crunchy but needed to marinate longer as they were not that flavorful Green beans - al dente with good flavor Pork XLB - the skin is too thick and most had NO broth. We ordered 3 steamers and only a 3rd had broth. They don't have sliced ginger which goes hand in hand with vinegar as accompaniments so that makes these XLB only 3 stars Spicy wontons - thin skin with good amount of meat and I appreciate that they didn't drown them in the spicy sauce Hot n Sour soup - spicy with a good amount of tofu, etc in it. Overall we will not come back here for XLB since there are other local places that have better XLBs, with broth inside and serves ginger with them

Got to try out this Chinese restaurant in Mission Viejo. I enjoyed the chick chow mein and the Xiao Long Bao. The noodles was not too oily and the chicken was tender. While the XLB was meaty and soupy. The server was attentive and provided us with water refills. They do have a robot server too which was fun for the kids. I had a bit of trouble timing when I should be taking the delivered food from it.

The food here was delicious, they have a robotic server. It's so amazing. I loved the fried rice and the egg drop soup

My job is to help you avoid the tragic first‑date mistakes I've already made, like the overpriced spots, the bland dishes, the "why is this chair attacking my spine?" seating. I've wasted the time, energy and money on the other loser spots so you don't have to. But when I find a place that's clean, visually appealing, thoughtfully designed, and serving food that's actually seasoned, cooked well, and plated with pride? Oh, I'm shouting it from the rooftops. So let me put you on to my latest discovery: DIHO SIAM, right in the heart of Ladera Ranch. If you've followed me on Yelp for a while, you already know I'm a lifelong Thai‑food fanatic. I've been loyal to Thai cuisine longer than some people stay loyal in relationships. Since I wasn't trying to overeat, I ordered an appetizer, and let me tell you, this "appetizer" came out looking like a BIG FULL-GROWN lunch. I'm not a big white‑meat gal, so I asked if they had anything with dark meat. I ended up with chicken wings and drumsticks in a sweet‑and‑sour sauce. The moment I cut into that chicken? I ascended. The breading had that perfect balance...not too salty, not too bland...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I'm not saying I had a foodie‑induced spiritual experience, but if I did, nobody needed to know. One look at the rest of the menu and I knew I'd be back. Yes, I will absolutely make the 45‑minute drive to try their lunch dishes. It's worth it. And the prices? Shockingly reasonable considering the economy is basically held together with duct tape and vibes. Now, my one note for the owners: please, for the love of all things holy and iced... offer a dairy‑free Thai iced tea option. It was 94° today, and I was ready to down two giant glasses, but they only use half‑and‑half. This is California. We are oat‑milk, soy‑milk, almond‑milk, "I'm‑on‑Ozempic‑don't‑judge‑me" people. Give the people what they want. Add oat milk to the menu, put a cute little 4x5 flyer in a clear acrylic stand on each table announcing your new dairy‑free Thai iced tea, and watch customers flock to it. And just to close this out on a high note: I'm 100% coming back to Diho Siam. There are way too many dishes on that menu calling my name, and I fully intend to answer. Consider this my official teaser...I'll be updating my Yelp Elite Squad review after my next visit, and trust me, people wait for those updates like they wait for a second date after a great first one. I might even give you an extra star and make it a Five-Star review! Wink! wink! Stay tuned, because this place has officially earned a spot on my "must‑return" list. And don't forget to give me a thumbs up or a heart if you like my reviews and follow me!

Shanghai style smoked fish ($16.5) - This fish isn't smoked, rather it's deep fried twice creating an extremely crispy exterior and is dipped in a sweet soy sauce. It's a unique tasting appetizer, perfect for sharing. Sauteed string beans with garlic ($13.5) - These beans had a slight crunch and are a great veggie option. Steamed fish and shrimp dumplings ($14.50 - 8 pieces) - This is a good option if one is looking to get their dumpling fix. Steamed veggie dumplings ($14.50 - 8 pieces) - This is another good dumpling option that tastes great. However the dumplings aren't that filling themselves. Braised beef shank noodle soup ($16.50) - Made with braised beef, pickles, cilantro, bok choy, green onions, noodles and a savory and spicy beef spot, this dish is perfect for a cold day. Crispy beef rolls ($15 - 6 pieces) - This consisted of tender beef, cucumbers, scallions, and a savory sauce all rolled in a crispy and flaky scallion pancake. It's one of my favorite items here. Kung pao chicken ($16) - This stir fried dish is prepared with tender chicken, peanuts, and spices and is my favorite dish here. Sweet and sour chicken ($16) - I was impressed with the quantity of chicken in this dish. It was perfectly prepared with a crispy batter and a tangy and sweet sauce that really hit the spot! Pineapple beef ($16) - This consisted of tender and thin pieces of beef stir fried with some pineapple and is another solid dish to get here. Chocolate mochi xiao long bao ($11 - 5 pieces) - These chewy dumplings had a wonderful chocolate filling. Rose flavored red bean buns ($14 for 3) - I felt these were pricey but they had a good amount of filling and the bao bun was soft and fluffy. Golden egg custard buns ($13.5 for 3) - These are similar to the red bean buns, except the inside has egg custard. I really wish they doubled or tripled the custard, because the amount they give is miniscule, and it's for that reason I would pass on these. Overall I'm impressed with many of the items here and the pricing is reasonable. Even though I've tried so many dishes here, I wish they had even more offerings that didn't have pork. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered the popcorn chicken, eggplant, pork ribs, and beef roll. All I have to say is wow, what a difference from when we were dining in. The portion sizes are pretty much cut in half. The popcorn chicken... wow I mean there were MAYBE 10-15 pieces max and I'm talking small pieces. It was a tiny lil appetizer. It was definitely not enough food for 4 people unfortunately. And the garlic pork ribs were literally all bone. So bottom line, don't order take out. Dine in is the way to go

Absolutely delicious! Definitely the best dumplings I've had outside of Irvine…read more Service was quick, and the inside was clean and chill. Everything came out piping hot and fresh with good flavors. Perfect spice level, just enough to be noticeable but not overpowering. We had the chashu buns, which were fluffy, soft, sweet, and steamy, exactly what you want to finish off a meal. The Dan Dan noodles were solid but not the best I've had, I preferred the homemade noodles with peanut sauce which were scrumptious. Soft chewy noodles with a light peanut sauce and crunchy cucumbers. The xiao long bao had perfect thin dough with a good pork flavor inside, I was very impressed and felt they could handle their own alongside din tai fung. I've had bad luck at other dumpling places around OC with the spicy chili wontons, but these were aMAZing and a little addicting. Perfect bite size and spice. We polished our plates and felt far too full but it was worth it, I highly recommend!

Kuan Zhai Alley has changed my perspective on Sichuan food. As someone who was never big on the…read morecuisine, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Everything we ordered was delicious, but there are some dishes that really stood out to me. The sliced fatty beef in pickled soup was full of flavor and had the perfect amount of sourness. The tofu with salted egg yolk was crispy on the outside and super soft in the inside, which I really enjoyed. I loved the crispy shrimp with lemon sauce. The batter was perfect and this honestly beats the typical honey walnut shrimp you get elsewhere. At the end, we had the glutinous rice cake with brown sugar. If you like mochi-style desserts, this will be your new favorite sweet treat. In addition, the service was great and the food came out fast. I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

The ambiance is nice. Whole fish: 9/10. Really good and full of flavor. I liked that this had a lot of stuff in addition to the fish! Chicken with peppers: 9/10. Also good. Loved the flavor, the spice, and the crispness String beans: 8/10. Good but nothing particularly standout. Better than other restaurants, though Pumpkin cake: 9/10. I didn't know what to expect but I really liked it! It's soft, moist, and flavorful Lots of parking since it's a plaza with other food places. Great restaurants in the area. I would come back
