I am beyond grateful to the Mint Team for their participation in our recent move! I am highly recommending them to anyone that needs movers and cleaners! From the first inquiry into their services I felt comfortable and more at ease. Due to COVID-19, we did a virtual walk through of the home and what needed to be moved and cleaned. The walkthrough wasn't long and my questions were answered. I personally am a control freak by nature so, we ( my husband and I ) decided to pack up our own belongings and move the small stuff ourselves as this was going to take us a long time to do. We scheduled Mint to move our heavier items for us. Communication with Mint was AMAZING!!! They sent emails in a timely fashion and text messages to remind us the day before and morning of our scheduled appointments. They were even flexible with rescheduling our move to meet our needs due to access to our new location and possible weather changes that may extend the moving process! ( Seriously, how cool is that??) So appreciative of their attentiveness to our needs and providing us with the insight that they have from their experiences of moving during bad weather! (Yes, I would have totally bin an unhappy camper if the rain delayed or extended our move!) The morning of our move, the team moving us called about 30 Minutes before to let us know they were on their way. They arrived early, which was fine for us as we were already up and moving! The three you g men we had were AWESOME!! They were fast, respectful, and so polite! They communicated exceptionally well. Asking for clarification of what needed to be moved and letting us know that screws from our bed frame were missing from when we moved in. ( We used FF to move in, not Mint). They were efficient in their packing and loading! When we got to the new place, they made sure that they knew where things needed to go and even took the time to help me sort out the best arrangement for furniture in one of the rooms, based on the smaller size of the room. These three young men were fantastic! The cleaning crew were just as good! The process was the same for the cleaning crew. The two ladies were FANTASTIC!!!! They went to work straight away and did an amazing job! They cleaned the house from top to bottom!! I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am that they cleaned our place. Cleaning, deep cleaning, is always a difficult task for anyone moving out of a place or preparing a place for people to move into. If you are moving out, you are beyond exhausted by the time you have gotten everything out, the last thing you want to do is clean!!! I was so relieved that I wasn't going to have to clean our place after being up at 5 am the last week, packing and moving!!! Mint helped me in a pinch. I originally went with lower cost movers (I'll spare them the 0-star shout out) who led me to believe I was scheduled for a move on 1/31/19. The 'other guys' told me there was a scheduling mistake because I wasn't confirmed and now they couldn't help me, they suggested I move on 2/2 instead. Nah thanks. Called Mint and am glad I did. They were about 30% higher than the other guys when all is said and done, but three guys moved my Waikiki 1-bedroom into a Palolo 1-bedroom in 1 hour and 50 minutes (pay for 2 hour minimum). They did things with furniture I didn't know you could... these guys were like Cirque de Soleil of moving. Three guys spanning three floors of a walkup-type building passing large furniture and heavy boxes down the human ladder and into the truck. Wow. Cleaning services were pretty good but the tubs could have been better. The carpet cleaning was HORRIBLE, I do not recommend using them for carpet cleaning for sure, looks like they just vacuumed in several places. I was at work and unfortunately my neighbor was too shy to say anything. read more

Like so many ppl covid has taken a toll ... I initially asked for a quote ON 10/23 and after a very unpleasant beginnings with the office ( sunny ) Thomas called me and honestly i felt very good about moving forward. We schld a walk through to get an accurate quote. Later that evening they emailed me a quote. At the time I didn't realize it was missing our car bc it was 3k more then every other quote I received. Now I don't mind for paying for quality service so I still wanted to move forward a month went by I had to rearrange the funds to cover the initial 8k this would cost. I got rid of all the furniture and just bags & boxes I schld another walk through. The day of... he no showed I called to confirm I was told they couldn't make it but would send a new quote. It was another 2k more. I asked for them to explain bc i had less stuff. But instead she got upset and told me I could afford them or something and now they refused to serve me..... umm ok. By their review maybe I dodge a bullet and a terrible company. Smh. This is not another company leaving a review this is a 10k job you tried to scam. I'll add Liars to the list as well. Best 1st experience with movers ever! Reserved the time and date a few months early - we were scheduled from 1 - 5 (4 hours) ... Charles called and said they could come early ... they started at 12 which was GREAT for us ... took some extra time taking things apart that we didn't realize needed to be taken apart to get out and into the houses but Charles and Mark did it with no hassles whatsoever. Great price. Friendly service. Awesome workers. Not planning on moving again - but I would definitely use Mint Moving Solutions again if I needed to. I recommend Mint Moving Solutions to EVERYONE. Wow this was a terrible company. I told them I only needed people to clean high up soffits of 10 feet. They show up with only one ladder about 4 feet. I told the owner I only had one ladder. She claims I said ladders. Why not bring there own equipment? The two women couldn't clean because there was only one ladder high enough to reach the high spots. I called the owner and asked her to bring another ladder she kept arguing with me that I said ladders and then hung up on me. She claims I was rude. She was rude and argumentative and then hung up. Who is the rude one. I was very polite to the women who came and apologized repeated because they had to leave since the owner charges per person per hour and one could not do the job with a 4 foot ladder. Response to the owner: what does she mean I was violent? I have three people at the house that witnessed the whole situation and I was very polite to the workers. Either the owner is off her meds or she doesn't understand what "violent" means. I've never been violent with anyone. read more

I've now used Mint Moving to relocate twice and both times have been great experiences! It's easy to schedule with Thomas. He's very easily reached and everything is done through texts or emails so you always have documents to refer back to. They send you a reminder email the day before your move is scheduled and then a text in the morning. Both times, the movers showed up on time and got right to work. They don't linger and milk the time; they're quick and efficient. They take great care with electronics and all your items, really. All our movers have also been very friendly so it doesn't feel weird to have strangers in your home haha. Price is competitive with other companies, no hidden fees. This review is for their move out cleaning service. MCS was one of the companies listed for move out cleaning services our rental management office recommended. We chose the company because they returned my call within 24hrs and sent someone to the house for an estimate. The house is nearly 3,000 sq ft altogether and the price quoted including basic window cleaning was 20% less than what we originally scheduled with another house cleaning company and a window cleaning company combined. They arrived early and finished the empty house by that evening. We did a walk through and without complaint corrected anything over looked. They contacted me any time there was something they could not clean to their standards or had questions. During the day, I was in and out running errands and they were professional through and through. Once they were pau, I received the invoice immediately. The next day my husband and I discovered the oven wouldn't close, I contacted MCS and they sent someone out as soon as they could that day to look it over. Fortunately they discovered the oven pan was not put back correctly, easy fix and all of this was done with complete professional curtesy. Mint Cleaning Solutions did an excellent job cleaning, customer service was spot on from beginning to end. I cannot say how much I appreciated Mint Movers today. I needed a small local move just a few miles down the road and was really dreading hiring another company to complete it. 2 years ago I moved the same stuff a similar distance with another company and they were terrible. Showed up with only 1 screwdriver as their only tool, did not wrap anything and damaged the finish on my wood furniture. And took almost 5 hours. When I first got in touch with the owner, it was late night here and he responded within 20 minutes. And then told me he was setting this all up from New York where he was overseeing a move. It was about 4am his time at that point. The team from Mint were the exact opposite from the first company. They showed up with tools as a start. Wrapped all my furniture in plastic or blankets. Pointed out issues they found with the screws the last company had haphazardly put in or ruined completely and even knew what brand my furniture was and gave me advice on how to contact the company to get replacement screws. 2.5 hours from start to finish. And in 2019 this may not seem like a big deal, but the company has embraced the digital age in a way many hired labor companies haven't here and used a digital invoice system for payment rather than expecting cash payment. Having gone through a few contract companies in the last month that wanted $1000 payments in cash which is an absurd amount to carry around, that really made my life easier today. sunny is the manager and the way the company is so organized But yet very Aloha spirited! I was just coming out of a bad situation and needed help with furniture . I heard Sunny's ad and called her right away. I could hear her voice change as I told her my story. Within 2'days Sunny called me back to make an appointment to deliver the couch bureau table even a gold fish bowl!! let's not forget the men. also very aloha I got their late. they just nodded their heads said no problem we can wait. they went around the room helping me decide where I wanted it and sometimes suggesting what ended up being a better place. they carried Avery heavy bureau upstairs to the bedroom. and came back in to carry my one nightstand up for me. HORRIBLE. Just Horrible. [CAUTION] The owner responds that she refunded the money. However, she got upset after seeing this review and CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD ANYWAYS. [CAUTION] Using Mint was one of the WORST experiences I had. I do not recommend anyone their services. I own a studio in Honolulu and wanted someone to clean the unit time to time as I rent it out as vacation rental. I needed someone who was efficient and professional, someone I could rely on. I used Mint's services for total of four(4) times. First time, it was okay. The floor was a little sticky but otherwise I was happy about their work. Second time, I went in for final check and found out they did not clean the cabinets, dust was still visible. I immediately complained to Sunny. She told me that because the crew came in the evening, they missed it. I wasn't convinced by this explanation, but because I was so busy with work, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Third time, they didn't clean the bathroom. There were still hair in the drain from the previous guest. I know it was my mistake to use them again at this point, but I could not find anyone else in such short period. Forth time was the deal breaker. I came in the room to do the final check before my guest arrived and felt the floor was dusty. I soon noticed that there were dead bugs, dust, and sand all over the floor. (I took a picture after I swiffered. ) Also, the toilet bowl had dust(wth?) and still untouched. Kitchen counter was sticky. It seemed like she just made the bed and did nothing else. I found out later that she didn't vacuum the floor at all. First Sunny was telling me she steam cleaned the floor, but then when I accused her with the pics, she admitted that they didn't use a vacuum cleaner because it was hard to bring it up. WHAAAAAT? What kind of cleaning business are you?!?! My unit is on the 3rd floor and it's right next to the elevator. It was just BS. She lied to my face hoping that I would buy her story and charged me almost $100 to do nothing. What upsets me the most is, Sunny tried to convince me several times that my place needed "deep cleaning" because it needed detailed cleaning.... How could you say that when you don't even do a proper regular cleaning??? I feel sad to post this because I just needed a good cleaner. I never meant to do this if the situation wasn't that bad. (I even wrote a nice review after the first cleaning.) I just want to warn my fellow consumers from bad businesses like Mint. Hopefully they will change their business strategy and do a proper job with a VACUUM CLEANER. read more

The crew came 10 minutes before the scheduled time. I like that they respect my time as important as their time by showing up on time. I walked them through the areas I wanted cleaned and asked them for an estimate of how long it will take. They completed the cleaning on schedule and on the estimate they gave me. I was impressed with their diligence and professionalism and will use them again. I feel that they provide good service for a reasonable price. Since the cleaning was done for a rental property, some of the wear and tear could not be completely cleaned to "as new" but they did much better than other cleaners did in the past. read more

This is the second time I've used Mint. The first time was great (I gave them 5 stars). The second not as great, mainly because they were 2 hours late (hence 3 stars this time). Apparently some of the movers didn't show up to work that day (Saturday) and so Thomas, the owner, had to fill in. That sucks. Thomas and his helper were completely overbooked. The move went fine, they were professional as always. Take note - I had a lot of boxes, and I thought 2 movers would be enough. They also had to go up and down 2 flights of stairs at both of my places. So no, I should've requested 3 movers. That would make it easier on the movers. read more

I hired Mint Moving to help move into a 3 bedroom apartment and these guys were great! Showed up early and ready to get the job done. I orginally scheduled for 2 hours which turned out to be almost a 9 hour job. I didn't realize I had that much stuff! To make a long story short, I needed to have them come back the next day (5 hours 1st day). Was told I had to speak to their supervisor to make arrangements. Update: They did it again. Best moving company ever. I needed help with a last minute move and donation for a bunch of furniture. Thomas responded right away and I had movers first thing on Monday morning. Great people and great company. Mahalo Thomas & Sunny! Sunny and Thomas made our move as stress and hassle-free as possible. We scheduled far in advance and when the time came to move out, we hadn't been able to close on time to purchase our condo. This meant we were stuck putting our stuff in storage for a week until we could finally move-in. No problem for Sunny and Thomas as they do this all the time. Thomas and his crew showed up on time for our 8 am appointment. They were finished getting all of our items into the truck by 9 am. Last minute we were working with the seller to be able to move in early, but didn't get word back until 9 am that we could move in the next day. Thomas and Sunny offered to keep our stuff in the truck overnight and move it in the next day!! However, by noon our realtor told us we could move in that same day. Sunny and Thomas had already sent home all their guys so they came back themselves to help us move in!! It doesn't get better than that. Everything from scheduling to communicating to last minute changes they handled with ease. I cannot speak more highly of them. By the way, they gave us a 10% discount as we scheduled our move out cleaners with them as wellHighly recommend! I had a BIG problem. Had a large heavy oven that needed to go up a narrow staircase that would not physically be possible to fit. I thought I'd have to return the oven and cancel my renovations. I was screwed. Brand new oven sitting outside. That is until the crew from Mint came to my rescue. Kent and Johnny assured me that they would make it happen. I initially contacted this business at the phone number listed on their website. When I called the number I got a text message back that said can't talk right now. So I left a voicemail message with my contact information and the services that I needed for a call back. I never received a call back it has been two days. I then as recommended sent a text message to the number provided. I also have not gotten a response and it has been 24 hours. Not sure if these people are still in business or if they just don't need the business but it would be nice to know. read more

CAUTION!!!! The owner Sunceyrae Burchfield should not be operating a service business. Read all the negative reviews, there is a pattern. They damaged our carpet using step stools with red dirt on the feet (despite taking pictures of their dirty stool and the damaged carpet, they stated we made it up) . They don't bring a carpet vacuum to clean carpet floors. They state that they will shampoo your carpets but they bring an old Rug Doctor unit you can rent from Safeway but don't put water or soap in it. Within 24 hrs of completing less than average cleaning of our house and damaging our carpet they called the police twice, filed a case in small claims court seeking over $7,000.00 damages, sent pictures of my wife and kids and threatened to put us on blast over Social Media, and lied and said we made their cleaning staff uncomfortable and said I made racist comments (I couldn't have been nicer and gave them dry goods and a bottle of rum). The filing of the small claims suit also included our realestate company who referred Mint to us which resulted in the disruption of the sale of our over $2M home. Sunceyrae's employee Thomas made so many false claims about the events surrounding their service that I can't list them all. You might be thinking, "why would they threaten us and hold up the sale of our home?" Well the service day we requested was on the day of our final home inspection by our new buyers which took place at 5pm. Home owners are not allowed to be at the property during that time only the sellers agent, buyers agent, and the new buyers. I was at the house all day and they started at 9am. The house was very clean as we had weekly open houses, this cleaning was more to hit the spots that I missed with my weekly cleaning. I noticed the damaged carpet and dirty stool at about 9:45 am, this is when I requested they tape up the legs of the stool which I provided the tape. At approx. 4:30 pm I told the cleaning staff that I had to leave. They had not started cleaning the carpet in the areas that they damaged when I left. At 6:19 pm I received a call from Sunceyrae Burchfield with Mint regarding the invoice that needed to be paid. I communicated to her that the carpet had been damaged earlier in the day and I had taken pictures of the dirty stool and the damaged carpet.. I had stated that unfortunately I could not be there when the cleaners were finished and I hoped that the cleaners were able to remove the numerous red dirt stains when they shampoo the carpets. I told her I could be back to the property in the morning to confirm the stains were removed and I would pay the invoice. At this point Sunceyrae with Mint became belligerent on the phone and began threatening me, called the police to home twice, Thomas sent pictures of my family threatening me, and so on. At 9:00 AM the next day I returned to the property to examine the carpets. The stains had not been removed and I took pictures and sent them to Thomas. Despite Mint claims that the carpets had been shampoo the carpets were not damp and it appeared that the carpets were vacuumed dry with the Carpet Doctor but there was no evidence that they had been shampoo. 10:12 am I called Mint and received a voicemail. I left a message requesting a credit for just the carpet portion of the cleaning and I stated that unfortunately after the threats and events of the night before I didn't feel comfortable allowing Thomas from Mint back to my property to try and remove the red dirt stains. This is the text message I received back from my voicemail: Aloha, No discount will be offered for the cleaning. Rightfully we should be allowed to remove it as we are a professional cleaning company that specializes in carpet/stain removal. I've been notified you are not allowing us to return to the property to fix it. With that, I'll be suing for more than what the cleaning is at this point for your dishonesty, arrogance and blatant disrespect for my cleaners who slaved an entire day so you would have a beautiful house to show. They also stated you had made some racist remarks towards them and made them uncomfortable during the cleaning. Do not contact us any further and we shall see you in court All of this over a request for credit on a portion of the $700.00 cleaning. In the end I was forced to pay the amount in full or have the sale of our home stopped on the final day. I paid $700.00 to end up with a home dirtier than it was when they started and put up with the absolute crazy of Sunceyrae Burchfield and Thomas. BEWARE of Mint and their strong-arm tactics.
