Came in today to get my ear checked out, and was very pleased with the help I received from the PA here, Ms.Sheeba. Was dealing with a very painful ear infection/ clogged ear, and she was more than helpful. She was very polite, professional, and caring when cleaning my ear out. Poor service and extremely disappointing experience. I waited for an hour and a half to be seen, only to eventually be told that they couldn't see me. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I was clearly one of the sickest people in the waiting room, yet I continued waiting without any meaningful communication about the delay or whether I would actually be seen. (Had an appointment and added myself to the waitlist and kept being removed) If the clinic was unable to accommodate me, I should have been informed much sooner rather than wasting an hour and a half while feeling extremely unwell. Very disappointing experience and not the level of care or consideration I expected from a medical clinic. read more

I paid the lab payment two times. Please don't use the minutes clinic services blindly. I paid the lab payment once through the minute clinic website and then got the same bill from the lab corp. No one take the responsibility. My advice for you is to avoid these kind of businesses and visiting. read more

PA Sheeba Thompson should not be allowed to practice medicine. Period. I went in to CVS minute clinic in Pflugerville on Kelly Lane because I had vertigo, nausea ,my ear hurt and it felt like I had fluid in my ear and may have an infection. I thought because I had been using the nasal saline rinse a lot lately due to allergies, some water may have become stuck in my ear. She proceeded to tell me that only children get ear infections, not adults. Then she told me that the nasal passages are not connected to the ear at all. Then told me it was hereditary and I eat too much salt. All false statements. Anyone can get an ear infection and the nasal passages are connected to the ears. I've never had vertigo before, ever. Neither has anyone in my family. I do not eat a lot of salt regularly. And I pointed out the fact that if I do, my ankles will swell and they weren't swollen at all. After much back and forth she reluctantly prescribed me ear drops and anti nausea medication. While I was sitting there, I got a text that the anti nausea meds weren't covered by my insurance from CVS pharmacy. I asked if there was an alternative. She told me that she would cancel this prescription sent to CVS and I could take it wherever I wanted. Confused, I asked her if my insurance doesn't cover it at CVS, then how will they cover it somewhere else? She then told me she doesn't know how insurance works. I told her nevermind, I would go to the pharmacy.The pharmacy had received both electronic prescriptions, and were in the process of filling them when she cancelled the one that wasn't covered. The pharmacist was very professional and nice but you could tell that she was frustrated with the PA. She said don't ever tell her something isn't covered. Just come here next time. Which I took to mean that Sheeba is incompetent. Please read the Google reviews for the Minute Clinic at Kelly Lane specifically about this PA. They are all similar to my experience. read more

Sheeba Thomas at CVS minute clinic is incompetent rude and an absolutely disgusting human being. I am shocked to have to write a review for something so ridiculous. I had an appointment to have my TB test read. The follow up appointment was made by the doctor at the minute clinic. I was an hour early for my appointment. After waiting for Sheeba to recognize we had already waited an hour. Leading up to my appointment time she had no patients and sat in the room doing nothing. Eventually calling me back for the appointment 17 minutes late. She takes us into waiting room and says we are 7 minutes past 72 hours and we have to have another test performed. She said it wasn't her fault it was my fault for not scheduling the appointment at a better time. (They made this follow up appointment for me) She then became vulgar and disrespectful and then told me I needed to leave that she wasn't reading my test and further more I needed to make a new appointment to get a new test. When I asked if she was being serious she called security on me. I have never in my life been treated so poorly. All of this took place in front of my young daughter. The fact that you allow such worthless rude incompetent people work for you is sad. What's worse is she has a license to practice medicine. I paid for 2 TB tests that became worthless when Sheeba failed to do her job. read more

I would give zero if I could. This visit started bad from the very beginning. The nurse that did my intake had the worst attitude with me. She cut me off while I was telling her why I was there. Very snappy. She really put me on edge and super uncomfortable. I wish I could remember her name but short, dark hair, Hispanic woman, on the bigger side. Then I finally get called back. Be prepared to wait. I saw Anne Milam, NP. She hardly looked at me (stared into the computer almost the entire visit) and instantly told me I was fine because my strep test was negative. She did not ask any history around my symptoms. I work in healthcare and was there for possible pink eye and strep. So strep test came back negative. Great! Pink eye? My symptom history of having a crusted eye, a husband with pink eye, and a son with pink eye he got from daycare apparently wasn't enough for her. She told me that crusted eyes were dried tears and that only goop was a sign of pinkeye. I've never had dried tears in my life. If I've woken up with crusted eyes....it's been because of pinkeye. When I tell her this she tells me that adult pinkeye is rare. I then tell her I've had it several times as an adult to which she responds "of course you have, there are three kinds of pinkeye." Ok? But I still don't have pinkeye. She begrudgingly asks if I want the drops anyways just in case to which I reply "of course!" I work in healthcare! What is wrong with you?! She then proceeds to put in my prescription, then has full her schedule up right in front of me and I can see her entire day's full names. Everyone she saw that day. So so unprofessional and below the standard of care. Plus I don't feel good! Why are you being so rude to me? Oh also the handouts she gave me about pinkeye explained viral pinkeye. I have all of the symptoms, including sore throat and "crust" on the eye, and it is very contagious. Again I work in healthcare which is why I went there immediately. This is 100% a review for NP Glory O, who absolutely went above and beyond! I very rarely ever get sick so when something is amiss, I tend to wait til the last second and then have to scramble to find somewhere to be seen. So of course at 6pm on a Friday, my husband finally said we should just stop by the Minute Clinic and have someone take a look at my ear that had gone from uncomfortable to jaw-clenching painful. I'm not used to the process, so didn't know I was supposed to have an appt so was scrambling to trying to fill out the form on my app at the check-in stand when Glory came out and explained usually appointments were needed but asked what I was there for. I explained I was flying out for a diving vacation next week and just wanted to rule out an ear infection and she said come on back. She took a quick look, said yup absolutely a pretty bad infection and while 90% of health care providers wouldn't have even done that much for me, she then filled out all the forms, insurance, etc and got me set up with antibiotics I was able to get filled at CVS within 10 minutes. Should all employees treat patients this way? Sure, they should but do they? Hardly. Thank you, Glory, for being your incredibly kind self and taking care of me without an appointment! You made the difference in me being able to heal before I fly out! read more

I signed in with one person in front of me, screen said 27 min the person before me got called in in total I waited 45 minutes when I was up they called the person who checked in after me saying they checkin online and that it doesnt update the wait time till they show up. Unacceptable and a huge waste of time. They should have a better system after all you call yourself the "minute clinic" read more

Tashara the nurse was AWESOME in so many ways. It started with her sweet demeanor during the call she made for pre screening. She has a presence - it was a warm interaction. And she called me timely several times, because not only was I late but I missed her calls. The visit was very thorough. I felt cared for and she noticed something else that I had not. She sent in my prescription right away, and gave me extra care instructions to make my healing process more comfortable. When I left, she called to let me know I had dropped a substantial amount of cash when I went through my purse in her office, and when I tried to reward her for returning it she refused. She also listened to me gab the whole time. I could not have come across a better human being. She's one of those lovely, lovely creatures. Anyone that knows is better for it. read more

Such a bad experience. As a bio chemical scientist I'm well aware of HIPPA privacy act as well as aseptic practices and the minute clinic store #10106 has failed in every aspect. I went in for some vaccinations and Not only did the nurse switched my information with the patient previous to me because she failed to verify identity and the. Blamed it on the previous patient because "she was Mexican and didn't speak English"; she also tried to stick me twice after botched TB placement, used her alcohol swabs more than once, and wore her gloves the entire time and did not change them when I left! So disappointed. They really need to improve their training or hiring processes because someone is going to get hurt with such negligence. Horrible experience! Will never go here again. Waited over an hour and nurse disregarded how bad I felt. Asked for a strep test and she would not do it. She told me she actually sees very sick patients with the flu. Her recommendation was to take ibuprofen which I told her I had taken for 2 days and no improvement, actually felt worse. When I told her I didn't feel taken care of and I was leaving she told me to sit down in the chair so she could finish my chart. She told me if I left my insurance doesn't have to pay. Same as the pharmacy, even though they're operated independently. Friendly people, but badly, chronically understaffed, especially at peak times. I had a pre-scheduled appointment, arrived on time, and still had to wait almost an hour to be seen. Additionally, I cannot /believe/ that a medical provider purges patient records by policy; what an enormous waste of time and potential for error. After years of doing business here and being disappointed again and again, I've finally wised up and will be switching to another urgent care provider asap. read more
