We got checked in with no estimated time given. We noticed people going in and out that came after us. I asked the front desk if they could give us an estimate time and the girl say that the screening people go in first. At 11am I got up to ask one more time and the front desk girl mentioned that there is 1 person in front of us. Right now it's 12:00 noon and no one that was before us is here and we are still waiting. At this point i'm frustrated because I know it's almost lunch time and they will start taking breaks. I complained one more time and they said they will check with the doctor. The front desk could have easily said that it would be few hours and suggested elsewhere. I don't recommend this location at all, especially if you have an emergency. P.S. They also had two doctors in that were not doing screening as mentioned by front desk but over 30 screenings that occupied every room. Crazy.

What hurt me the most is that my blood pressure was extremely high dangerously high and he treated it like it didn't matter. I know I have to be responsible for my health, but he is a doctor. Why choose a profession centered on caring for people if you are unwilling to actually care? I was not rude, not difficult, not disrespectful, yet I was treated like an inconvenience. I could have walked out of that clinic in a medical crisis, and he didn't seem to care at all. As I was leaving, he said, 'Your blood pressure is a little high, try not to stress,' and then chuckled. The level of incompetence - with incorrect prescriptions called in and incorrect information relayed - is concerning. I hope they don't have these medical assistants completing tasks that require common sense, like relaying important test results. I know practices are trying to increase profits, especially those practices that are owned by private equity (which this place may be--IDK). But please consider your patients. Don't run a competent practice into the ground by having these assistants do what medical professionals should be doing. Employ some actual nurses to answer patient questions for god's sake, not just "medical assistants."

I went to St. David Surgical Hospital in Round Rock today for the first time. I was getting an…read moreinjection in my back. I will say, they spared no money in this building. When you walk in to register there is a huge lobby area, very nicely decorated, where you can sit and wait. We found a parking spot out front but if there are none available you can drive around back to the parking garage and both are free. After about a five minute wait, they came to get me and take me back and everything looked very neat and clean in the rooms. I will say that my injection was about 45 minutes late but I think that's more on the doctor than the surgical center. The nurses and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and joked around with me, which makes the experience that much better. Overall, I think that facility is very nice and I would not hesitate to go there again for any type of procedure!
