Very fresh seafood, and also great tacos. I love it here. My favorite in Tucson by far.

This was my first time visiting a Guadalajara Grill in Tucson, and in years. I was overall quite…read morehappy with our experience. The interior is visually congested, not in a bad way but with lots of decor, seating, movement areas and etc. It makes a feeling of the space being busy and distracting. I prefer calmer spaces but it's not terrible. Service was prompt, frequent and wonderful. An older woman came by and asked how we wanted salsa and made us a bowl which was INCREDIBLE! So savory, spicy, fresh and left me wanting more. (You get a certain amount salsa and chips per person than you gotta pay). It was literally perfect. We weren't super hungry and wanted to share, to us the serving was more than enough for two. We enjoyed a house rocks margarita, grilled steak fajitas with rice and beans, sides of sour cream and guacamole and also some chips and salsa. It was all very well made, came out steaming and was very satisfying. The space felt cold to me, but seemed fine to all else. So just a note there if you run on the warmer side. I don't know if they do reservations, but I would imagine on some nights it would be a good idea seeing as they seem very busy.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The feeling in here is just so cozy and the person who served me, Victor, was such a nice guy, very accommodating, not only to me, but to everyone that came into the restaurant ! When you go someplace to eat, you want to be somewhere where people are happy, jolly and have a good good time! this is definitely the place that!! I especially love that they have a very nice full ( and clean ) variety salsa bar where you can help yourself to sauces of all different types. You know me I'm a saucy girl so I really, really appreciated that. Their homemade corn tortillas are divine! Super soft, great texture - I'm definitely a fan! From the salsa bar, red sauce is spicy! Green salsa is tasty with a little bit of a spice, really delicious flavor! Light green "cream "sauce is perfect to put on anything, not spicy! The battered fish taco was so fresh! I could Totally eat my fill of these!!! what's nice is they even have beer and margaritas - it's a perfect combination! All of the veggies were a cut to size, perfectly and tasted so fresh I really am enjoying it !! Shrimp enchilada, nice. Carne asada taco - perfection! Another customer ordered a shrimp ceviche, I'll definitely get that next time! After my dining experience, I was reminded of a place that my dad used to take us to in Mexico when I was young to eat tacos of ALL SORTS as well as other types of cuisine! Only exception is there weren't cutting their carne asada meat on a hallowed out tree stump! The preparation of the taco and careful attention to detail, very pleasing. This is definitely going to be one of my favorite places. Everything is tasty, clean and the people are really nice. And friendly! This is something about a good chip and authentic salsa that really lights me Up. If I go to a place where the salsa is not good, I never go back. I'll MOST DEFINITELY be back here, I truly enjoyed everything!

There is a decent salsa and veggie bar. The enchiladas were good but the enchilada sauce didn't impress me. Pluses: quick, cheap, friendly, decent food. Minuses: chips and enchilada sauce weren't great.

Prices are on par for seafood. Check out the photos of the menus I took. There was no salsa bar, but that may be because of the current COVID-19 policies. There were small containers of salsa and chipotle mayo included with my order. I ordered the fish taco and the Tori-Taco. The fish taco and the shrimp taco are named the same on the menu as "empanizado." As the lady seemed to have a very small skill set of English, my tip would be to emphasize several times which taco you want because I received a shrimp taco instead of the fish taco. The shrimp taco was good. The breading was light and not greasy. Served on two corn tortillas, it came with Mexican slaw. The Tori-Taco is described as chile guero with creme cheese, bacon and shrimp. Both were good. The shrimp taco ($3.00) was about on par with Taco Fish's. The Tori-Taco ($4.50) was also good. Give it a try, you'll probably like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
