I went there for cataract surgery. My choice of Dr Carlos Diaz was without referral and à wonderful expérience. He is professional, caring , very meticulous and listened to all my concerns. So respectful yet diligent about his pré op requirements for my particular case. Hes very highly credentialed. Chose the best surgery for my eyes. The surgery center was very professional , caring and attentive to my needs right before surgery. Dr Diaz is so excellent that after each surgery I immediately had a clear correction of vision without any bruising redness or selling. Just leaving surgery that is. And so far my expérience with the optometrist Dr Olsen has also been wonderful. I had an optometrist in Fl for 30 years so the switch has not been easy. But I think he is also kind and caring and very professional. I will continue with him from now on if I can. So for anyone who wants an amazing cataract expérience, choose Dulaney Perkins and Dr Carlos Diaz for the best possible results. I relied on glasses then contacts for 55 years and now I have clear vision without any aid. A miracle. Thank you Dr Diaz. I've been seen here for the last four years and it's just getting worse. The providers are apathetic and when I asked about my high eye pressure I was told "I'm not here to talk about that." This response was particularly frustrating because I had a young girl add four times the number of numbing drops and tap my eye about 40 times to get its pressure yet. The actual reading doesn't mean anything? Curious. The same girl also applied twice times the amount of dilation drops and couldn't get a solid picture of my retina. Despite having what they described as significant lattice deterioration, I was told to follow up in a year. So now I'm sitting in the parking lot completely blind, and unable to drive home. What an uncaring experience. I won't be back.

My last prescription was filled at Costco and that's where my next one will be. Two pair of progressive glasses (one was sunglasses) with total out of pocket less than $200. Vista wanted $489 out of pocket for one pair. WTH? Plus my Costco frames were Jill Stewart and are still as good as new so I only bought replacement lenses for my main pair.

What makes this experience even more frustrating is the lack of communication. No one called us with an update or explained that there was a delay. We had to call them ourselves after waiting a month, only to find out the glasses still weren't ready. These aren't just ordinary glasses for my wife. She needs the prism lenses, and while we've been waiting she has been dealing with severe headaches. That's why getting these glasses was important to us in the first place. Delays can happen--I understand that. What I don't understand is promising roughly two weeks, letting more than a month pass, and not contacting the customer with an update. When someone's health and quality of life depend on getting the correct prescription glasses, communication and follow-through matter. Based on our experience, I am extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend this place! Horrible!

What could improve?? A few things!! For one...a call back…read more I left two messages yesterday, Thursday and two today, Friday. No one called me back.. I've been working two weeks to get my prescription refilled. This coming Monday will make 3 weeks. When I called two Mondays ago. The staff told me that they didn't do in-house compounding anymore because of insurance. I gave them a name of a compounding pharmacy that I've used in the past. This took a couple days. When the staff called my prescription in, it was a different form of pill then when it was compounded in the office. was getting the dissolve in your mouth thyroid pill. The office called in a capsule. I wanted to stay with what I had been on for the last two months. When the pharmacy finally got the OK from the doctor to do the dissolve in your mouth pill, the pharmacy told me two days ago, it would be the end of next week before I got my medicine. I ran out of medicine two days ago. I decided to check with a local compounding company I've used in the past. I called them Thursday of this week. They told me if the prescription came in yesterday. They could have my medicine to me by Tuesday. Problem is the office called in a prescription from my old doctor, not my present doctor. This Dr has never prescribed this dosage for me. So I've made a bunch of calls and no one has called me back and they haven't called the right dosage into the pharmacy. So, I don't know when I'm going to get my medicine. Pretty sad.

We have always had friendly front staff and knowledgeable providers. We went to a different Carbon Health Urgent Care by the university during the pandemic when this one was booked up and saw a male provider who was rude and didn't listen. Told me it was okay to fly even though I tested positive for Covid. So we can only recommend this office.

You're greeted with bright lights, a giant check-in desk, a serpentine sofa embossed with the UA 'A' and a larger then life light fixture. It's no urgent care room I've ever seen. Before I get into the meatiness of this, a suggestion to those coming here. First, go to their website and check-in online. You can then fill out the patient info and it makes the whole experience a lot stressful! It's super easy and I loved that about this place. The place was 100% empty when I went so it gave me loads of freedom to look around and ask questions. Like what on earth is the Max Room with a paw print on it!? Turns out it's the exam room for kids and it's dogie themed. Sadly I'm over age for the room. Boo. The girl checking me in was very sweet. I thought it odd she took notes on a sticky note, as did the nurse practitioner first looking me over. Maybe it's a new place hitch? From checking in to getting into the waiting room was around 10 minutes. I got weighed on a tile that matched the floor. It was super trippy! The exam room was comfortable, clean and again fancy. See my photo. The nurse practitioner took my temp, heart rate and blood pressure all at once. She was efficient. I was impressed (beyond the post-its). The doctor (Jessica) was very nice, efficient and listened. She knew how to fix me ASAP and gave me additional meds to help me tru. From entering to leaving was 45 minutes! Everyone was very nice, trained and I will definitely be back if I have another emergency.
