I have been to this massage place no less than 10 times. Today, I was very disappointed. I had a coupon and they kind of shunned it. Why put out coupons if you're gonna berate people for using them? Anyway, they said that hot stone and oil came with it and literally, he just pushed on my back for about 40 minutes and then spent about five minutes with oil and used two rocks for about two minutes. Previously, they have used at least 10 rocks. He had me keep my pants on, and he didn't do my legs at all, and it was advertised as a full body massage. I even told him my left knee was hurting. Good, not great! First, don't look at the photos on Yelp to get the menu if services and prices because it's outdated. I was surprised on arrival with the price. If you pay by cash, you get $5 off your service. I wish I knew that before arrival. The place is clean, attentive, and I got my massage right away. I asked for a deep tissue massage and it's clear that the person giving the massage has mediocre knowledge and experience in massage. There was so much repetition of uncomfortable pressing, elbow rolling and the way he pinched my neck quit frankly made me feel like he is a complete amateur. This is the worst massage I've ever had in my life. I have severe scoliosis. I have rods in my back down my spine. There's also a giant scar that goes from my neck down. I told the front desk guy to tell the massager. It was extremely hard, painful and uncomfortable. At the end of the back massage he hit me! I had ordered a hot stone aromatherapy 60 minute massage. The stones were so hot they burned my skin. I told him it hurt but it didn't seem to matter. My arms, legs and back are in pain. I went home and took 2 extra strength Tylenol. NEW OWNER beware! I have been going here for years and they sold the business. It went from being great to horrible very fast. Now it is ridiculous games with the non-English speaking front desk, no music and have to hear her chattering away non stop during your massage , to a massage that was so bad I had to stand up and quit after 20 minutes. The women obviously is not a masseuse. She spent 20 minutes digging her elbows into by ribs and shoulder blades. She seemed completely uncomfortable with applying the oil, the towel, etc! Twice I winced in pain so badly from her propping herself up, here entire body weight, by using her elbow in the middle of my back. I asked for a refund , was offered NO apology, and was toyed with for 15 minutes while they manager says she needed to text the owner. Then they tried to give me half price. What a shame to build such a great business, sell it, only to have the new owners ruin it within a month. If anyone knows where the former owners are please post. read more

I am so grateful to Miracle Massage. I had several days of neck pain & stiffness and an inability to to turn my head and they fit me in on short notice and did a wonderful job. Mai was the masseuse that helped me and had a very kind demeanor. She listened to me when I said my neck was bothering me and really took the time to address my neck and back in particular. The massage itself was great and affordable too, I treated myself to the 90 minute appointment and it included hot stone treatments. Mai was also conscientious to check in with me to maKe sure the pressure and heat were fine for me. This Chinese massage place is better than the rest in North County and I'll tell you why... If you've frequented many of the new Chinese massage parlors popping up in North County SD you'll know what to expect. No frills, quiet private room, stronger, deep tissue massages. This one is just like that but better! First star: there's a check-in deal with Yelp; check-in get $10 off the 90 min combo massage (regularly $70, includes 60 min body massage, 30 min foot massage). I love deals so there's the first star. 2nd star: I called at 4:05pm on a Sunday for a last minute 4:30pm appt, 90 min massage. No problem, booked and with my Yelp deal confirmed over the phone. Yay! 3rd star: The rooms are private, dimly lit, with a pillow roll for under your feet (I like) and a small single sheet to put over your body. Comfortable. You get as naked as the day you were born and get ready for your epic massage. 4th star: The masseuse comes in and uses a shit-ton of oil, more than I've ever had used at any other Chinese massage parlor (which is fine because they clean it off with a warm cloth later), but then she breaks out these awesome HOT STONES! Now, I know these are commonly used in massage, but never in my bargain Chinese massage parlor experiences have I ever had these used and without any extra cost. It felt like...heaven! She focused extra long on my neck and back like I asked, and man did it help get out all those knots. Next she used this awesome grapefruit scented lotion stuff on my face and neck. I've never had a facial in my massage so that was nice! 5th star: After the open-handed, cuppy slap on my feet and thighs, universally signaling the end of the massage I paid my fee ($60, a steal for 90 min!!) and then tipped her $15 for a job well done. They gave me a frequent customer punch card and noted her name was Ima. Thanks Ima! I went in to forget all the problems I came in with and the massage did the trick. Please respect yourself and the masseuses who work hard for your well-being! **** All in all, great massages, affordable prices, friendly service, late opening hours (until 10pm!) Bonus is it's in my neighborhood :) I am one massage away from a free massage granted by my fulfilled stamp card! Regular 60 minute massage is $50 but you it's only $45 per person per hour for couple massages which is a good way to start or end your weekend! They offer different kinds of massages, regular, Thai, deep tissue, etc. If you don't feel like stripping down and lying face down, a foot massage is a very good cheaper alternative where you'll get a brief shoulder, head and face massage too, which is not short of a full body. I like all the masseuses I had, but especially the older women because their slim fingers suit my small body structure better, but that's just a personal preference. Don't underestimate their strength though! When you ask for hard, make sure you're up for it. They all have good knowledge of pressure points and know where you knead you to make you feel the good sore (if you choose the hard). If you ask for a soft massage, then you'll just end up with a Swedish massage that does nothing to your muscles and tendons but only to your skin and mind. One of the best things that sets this massage place from the rest is its inclusion of hot stones in all the massages! I absolutely love it! The heat will loose up your muscles and bring energy to the pressure points which is beneficial to your whole well being. Last word: Please tip the masseuses well (at least 20% imo). The Chinese (or at least me, my mother and the elderly) believe that whoever massages your body would pass their good "qi" (energy) to you and rid your bad ones so in a sense they are sacrificing their energy for your benefit. It's the reason why pregnant women are not advised to massage other people... My brother bought me a massage for my birthday. The front desk lady asked if I wanted a deep tissue massage and I said yes at a medium level. The women that gave me the massage did not give me a deep tissue, it felt more like she was just rubbing me. She also yawned about 4 times during my massage. She left the room to go get hot stones and when she came back she left the door open as she proceeded to give me a massage. As I was leaving, I did not give her a great tip. I got in my car and the front desk lady followed me out there and asked if there was something I didnt like. I said it wasn't great and she told me I should have said something to the massage therapist that did not know English.
