If you are looking for an awesome solar company- look no further! We were lucky to have had Danny from Mirador Energy referred to us. He gave us an excellent price and he well exceeded our expectations. Our install was done right on time and it looks beautiful. Danny is local and you will love him. We are hyped to be producing our own power!

We would highly recommend Mirador for any residential or commercial solar installation in Solano and surrounding counties. Danny provided excellent service from the very first conversation regarding our custom solar carport, canopy, and awning project. We were so impressed with his knowledge, skill, and professionalism that my husband recommended Mirador Energy to four friends who went ahead with Mirador solar installations at their homes in Solano county. These were all unique roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar installations. Their feedback was that they were thrilled with Mirador and their installations. All of us feel that Danny's quality installations added beauty and value to our properties. My husband is retired now but worked in the solar and construction industry for many years. We did careful research before contacting Mirador on the recommendation of another friend.

I had the one of the best experiences working with Danny (the owner). My wife and I had been kicking around the idea of becoming a "Greener" household, also eliminating our electric bill was a big plus. With 6 people in a house it is not cheap when it comes to PG&E. We had several companies out to look and give us quotes: Tesla, Sun Run, Sun Power and Mirador Energy (We didn't bother with Vivint after talking to friends and neighbors who had vivint install or moved into a house with a leased vivint system. I looked at the install done by them and I gotta say my 10 year old could do a better job. More importantly there Custumer service sounds horrible). Tesla and Sun Run I can say anything bad about, pretty decent experiences with both. Mirador Energy was hands down the best, Danny (the Owner) great guy, throughout the estimation process, install, inspections and finalization I have nothing but good things to say, I will gladly recommend him to everyone and anyone interested in solar. I have to commend Danny on his honesty, attention to detail, communication, scheduling, knowledge and abilities. The system I had installed on my house is larger than most, Danny did research on the electronic equipment I am looking to install in the future, and put together a system that exceeds my current needs and fulfills my future needs (near future). None of the other companies even listened to the fact that I am dropping almost all my gas appliances for electric one (except my Range). Not only did he listen, he researched and got me all the right numbers to correctly size my system. Also I looked into his company before I made my decision, as I did with all of them. He is a small company, he has workers comp insurance and all of the things I need to see, but he pays his guys well and they get health care and retirement because he sees the value of a good installer. I gotta say, him and Gabe did a great job, Gabe was onsite solo a day or two and he is well trained and knowledgeable as well. I know that most people want to know about the price, Mirador Energy was the lowest price. That's not the tool I use to judge a company, I would have paid more than Tesla's price, more than Sun Runs price. His attention to detail and customer service is in matched! I would give 10 stars if I could.

Upon review of all the estimates, not the lowest, nor the highest, they were chosen due to their history in the community, reviews, and BBB standing. In addition, they could meet the assigned deadline. We were placed on the schedule for February 10th. My prayers were there would be no rain until February 14th or 15th. We almost made it, however the rain came pouring down on the 10th and 11th. Thursday, February 12th dawned full of sunshine and the tear out commenced. Additional work was uncovered which unfortunately, yet understandably increased the price. Work continued, the city inspector, approved, and the tiles were installed. As the weekend approached so did an impending storm. The team returned Saturday, February 14th which meant they were with us and not their Valentines. Thank you!! The roof was completed before the storm and we've had several days of rain to test it out. No leaks!!! Johnathon, Ray, Omar, and the double crew were friendly, thorough, and left the job site clean each day. Excellent job and the roof looks amazing. Highly recommend Roofmasters.

There were all kinds of…read moresalespeople who came to our home on a monthly basis, and we just never had a real peace about being able to trust what we were being " sold", or told. My parents purchased solar from a HORRIBLE company that sounds a lot like 'SunFun'. After they passed away, and the house was sold...we were STILL making the monthly payments for over a year!!! That SunFun organization REFUSED to transfer the solar to the new homeowner, and eventually stopped taking or acknowledging our calls. It wasn't until we had to threaten the new homeowner with a lawsuit that SunFun finally transferred ownership. Due to this, we could not trust any of these solar companies...that is, until Kevin Bedard came to our home, and explained everything in great detail to my husband and I. He took the time to hear about our concerns, and he showed us how he truly cared. That same week, we spoke to two other families who shared their positive experiences about Ambrose Solar that made us feel that we would be in great hands. We had FINALLY FOUND A PEACE about getting solar on our home; KNOWING we would be in good hands, and we were ALL IN. It's been six months now, and we are beyond pleased with our solar panels, and the two Tesla batteries we have purchased. We are true fans, who have NOTHING but RAVE REVIEWS for this company. If you don't have solar, or if you need to add solar, Kevin Bedard is your man! and Ambrose is your company. Every employee has been amazing and helpful. In a world where customer service has taken a dump, this company has remained a class act. So again...if you are considering solar, call Ambrose, and tell them Albert and Rhonda sent you.

Any home renovation project has bumps, and this one had its fair share: after initial install they monitor the systems production remotely to see if it's doing what it's supposed to/expected to, and my system was initially under-performing. They caught it and sent out a team to problem solve it, which took a couple tries, but they didn't drag their feet, they kept on it and kept at it and got it resolved. It was no fault of theirs, just a technology glitch. Core fear was that they would give up after a couple failures and leave me following up with them to get it done, but I never had to worry about that. I also did not end up liking where they placed the control box- it was something that was going to make future maintenance of my house trim problematic down the line. They willingly moved it up a few inches for me (and my only complaint was the team that did that didn't patch the original hole as efficiently as they should have. If I had understood the box placement better on the first pass that would never have happened, so this is a bit of a complaint of my own making.) Jon Landsman, who sold me the system, stayed with us the whole time tracking the project, checking in, and following through on every detail, every question, every concern. He never made me feel like the demanding diva that I am, was always prompt and gracious! The bottom line is that start to finish, even with a few bumps in the road, I have zero question that this is a company that legitimately cares about doing what is right. The culture of deeply valuing customer service that they have built is unmatched by many businesses these days. I am SO pleased, and SO impressed, and I can promise that you will be too!

I could use more power but since my original installer went bankrupt, I have been unable to find a company to work on adding panels economically. Each company contacted wants to sell me a new system, which is not what I want, need, or afford. We went back and forth on this a couple of times in two or three separate calls and came to the mutual decision that the cost was not worth the additional "juice" I would get. Unfortunately, much of this is a result of both inflation (rising cost of materials due to tariffs) and the withdrawal of rebates and other benefits to installing solar. I still firmly believe installing solar is the correct thing to do for our environment and our world. I truly appreciated Diego's honesty in being upfront about the cost. For this reason, although it did not work out for us, I highly recommend working with this company if you want to install solar panels.

When this first happened, my system wasn't producing any solar power at all. Since then I've had multiple technician visits, a lot of emails and text messages, and the same problem keeps coming back. After a technician comes out it might work for a day or two, then the production drops again. Months later, it's still not producing what it should. To be fair, communication was actually pretty good in the beginning. My emails were answered quickly and appointments were scheduled. But as time went on, the responses became slower and slower. I found myself having to send follow up emails just to get updates. At one point I was told they would keep me posted about the next appointment. After more than three weeks without hearing anything, I had to follow up myself. The next appointment wasn't offered until after I reached out. One thing that really frustrated me was being told my system looked fine because there were no alerts. That was hard to understand when the system was clearly not producing like it had before all of this started. I even explained that it would seem to work after a technician visit, then the production would drop again shortly after. After months of dealing with the same issue, I asked for my case to be escalated to management. That request wasn't even acknowledged. No one responded to it. No manager reached out. It was like I never even asked. The whole time this has been going on, I've still been making my monthly solar payment while also paying higher PG&E bills because my system isn't producing what it should. I have every email and text message saved from this whole process. This wasn't one bad appointment or one repair that didn't work. This has been months of temporary fixes, waiting for the next appointment, then finding out the problem still isn't fixed. At this point I honestly wish I could have the whole system removed and get my money back. I never expected buying solar to turn into something this frustrating. I gave Citadel every opportunity to make this right. I was patient because I know things can go wrong. After months of dealing with the same issue, I finally decided it was time to share my experience
