I had no idea this place existed until I found it on Yelp, so thank you for your reviews. It's tucked into a nondescript little strip mall on the NEC of Lindsay and Warner and is a perfect analogy for the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" as from the outside, it just doesn't scream Mexican Food Paradise. However, once inside, the service and food are top notch! Our waitress was super friendly and patient with us as we peppered her with questions about the menu. They give you complementary crunchy tortilla chips and 4 different salsas ranging from mild to pretty hot upon arrival and all were good. We tried a variety of things, highlighted by a mouth watering sizzling fajita plate of steak, chicken, bacon wrapped shrimp, and grilled veggies that can feed 4 people. It also came with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and queso sauce. I ate leftovers from this for 3 days after and it was still just as good as in the restaurant. We also got birria tacos, carne asada tacos, and shrimp scampi and everyone enjoyed their choices. My only minor complaint is the beverage prices, which weren't on the menu and ended up being around $5 per drink for soda/lemonade and a bit more for horchata. This isn't your typical Mexican dive where you just get cheap tacos and drinks. This is more of a culinarily experience where the food is very authentic and everything used is high quality so you'll pay a premium for that. We ended up spending $168 including tip for a family of 5, which admittedly we probably ordered food for closer to 7-8 cuz we wanted to try a few things. We had a good amount of leftovers. Next time we'll probably share the fajita platter or each get our own dishes so it will be less expensive. I highly recommend checking this place out. They do have other things on the menu that I'd like to try next time. If money were no object, I could eat here every week! read more

You definitely get what you pay for. All the food tasted amazing! We have been there twice and had to come home with leftovers both times because we couldn't finish even after overeating. Would have given 5 stars but this time the AC was out and they were trying to use a swamp cooler to keep the place cool so it was kind of musky and humid. The service both times was also very good. We came after hearing it was "similar to La Curva In PP" and we agree! We had the special - I assume it's the special every night (pictures) with ribeye with a great chimichiri sauce, bacon wrapped shrimp, chicken fajitas, we all got tortillas and we had beans and rice and a little guac. Decided to try this place since they are close to home. Actually went there twice in one month because the food and service were great. Only issue was consistency. Ordered the tampiquena both times. First time they forgot the cheese enchiladas that come with the meal. They brought them after we mentioned that they were missing. The second time we asked that the enchiladas be packed to go since you get so much food with the meal. They took care of that for us but this time they forgot to add rice with the meal. Our plates came with only steak and beans. We didn't mention it though since they were nice enough to box up the enchiladas for us to take home. read more

Service was top notch; friendly, attentive and quick. The chips and salsa were very good, in fact I absolutely loved the salsa. They didn't have beer on draft, but still provided a frosty mug to pour it into. I was having a hard time picking something to order, but finally decided on the Mirador burrito. The server offered to put two kinds of meat which sounded good. Sadly, the burrito was very disappointing. Mostly filled with refried beans and rice. Barely any meat, so you couldn't even taste it. We decided to try this restaurant again after it changed hands, and we are so happy we did! We walked over from our neighborhood and enjoyed good margaritas before dinner of various street tacos, which were huge and delicious. We got pickled onions (my favorite) on the side, along with cucumbers and four salsas to try, plus four more that always stay on the table. Visited this restaurant on Sunday based on a review of the Pozole ! And they did not disappoint! Upon walking in felt very welcomed and our waitress Carolina from beginning to end was absolutely amazing ! Ordered the pozole for me, husband and my father, quesabirra tacos as well. I can also say this is one of the best pozole's we have had, quesabirra tacos are amazing ! Filled with flavor and meat. Husband ended up ordering a ribeye taco and again very very good quality of meat and the toppings and all the salsa's are amazing. I also want to thank the owner as well for honoring veterans with a discount, it is so sad after dining at many establishments they do not honor any type of military discount. As both my husband and father are both veterans it really means a lot personally that they offer a military/veteran discount. We will definitely be back over and over again !! Came here on Mother's day based off of my sister's recommendation and a Go Gilbert post.. "think LA Curva" in Rocky point..it was that good" . I had green chiliques added chicken and it was very flavorful and tender. My kiddos shared the French toast and wowzer, big portions, the toast had a crust on it flavored light cinnamon, maybe some pumpkin, fluffy and buttery. We'll be back for sure! read more
