Carne Asada Burrito Enchilada Style

Food was good. Salsa was just okay, not really flavorful. Ordered Michelada's that were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was clean and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was attentive.

Weekday late lunch, we were greeted politely, and seated in a booth in the bar area. The ubiquitous chips and salsa were brought immediately with our drinks. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean, and relatively quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered beef and chicken enchiladas, a chile relleno and a tamale. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. It was hot, fresh and tasty, beans and rice were very good. Portions were large. Around $45 with tip for lunch. A bit pricey, but not ridiculous. I'd look for lower price options next time, but it was a good meal.

It's been a while. I've checked this place out. Couldn't remember if this was a former Mexican restaurant anyway the food here was good. I got the chimichanga with Pollo Finito sauce on it. Rice and beans. Very delicious. Also got a strawberry margarita over rocks which was also very good as well. The service was good Waitress and waitresses came over. Just check on us. Make sure we're good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't super crowded when we went so the ambience in the place was low enough we could sit there and talk without having to fight over music or anything like that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's also a robot that brings out your food which I found as kind of a trip but it was kind of cool at the same time.

Queso blanco was so good. Everything slapped. If you're craving some mexican come here no hesitations. We will be back. Service was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was perfect for a date.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service dog enjoyed the bits of chips she got too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Very good! Family own spot with a simple authentic Mexican menu! David was our waiter he was super awesome and explained the menu great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They switched the t.v over to the game for us no problem and had a cute little robot that brought out the food!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Mango Margarita

It was my mom's birthday, so we decided to check this place out as we noticed they had moved buildings from when we first moved to Arizona a couple of years ago. We arrived a little before 5 on a Saturday afternoon/evening for an early dinner. We were seated immediately as there were only a couple other parties in there. Right off the bat, our server was phenomenal! He was so outgoing and told us he was also the bartender and would be making our drinks. When he said that, we were worried he'd be overworked since he also had other tables he was managing... as well as making alcoholic drinks... Out worries were confirmed because it did take a while for our drinks to be served. My mom ordered the prickly pear margarita, I ordered the mango margarita, my dad ordered a beer, and my brother ordered a prickly pear mocktail. However, we did get our chips and salsa early on, but it would've been nice to be sipping on our margs while chowing down on the chips and salsa (but, alas). I should've ordered the prickly pear margarita. The mango flavor was all right. However, after it sat out for a while, I noticed the entire drink had become super salty. There was salt on the rim but it was almost like there was salt poured into it as it was being made. It felt like I had pockets of salt in my cheeks as I was sipping on it. Safe to say, I did not finish my drink, unfortunately. The food came out quicker than the drinks, thankfully. They have a good-sized menu with several choices for even the pickiest eater. I ordered a combo plate of a chicken enchilada + guacamole tostada (with a side of rice and beans). Everything was hot and delicious when It arrived at the table! The rice was a little dry for my taste, but the refried beans had a creamy consistency I enjoyed. The enchilada was the best part (not spicy at all, thank god) and the guacamole on my tostada was excellent and mashed to perfection. My mom loved her fajitas - the chicken had a nice sear and great flavor. My dad loved his burrito (which was MASSIVE) - even if the green sauce made him cry lol. My brother ordered grilled chicken nachos and he repeatedly emphasized that this place was different (in the best way) because they actually loaded up his nachos with chicken. The food was a solid 4.5/5, but the short-staffed aspect of it plus my margarita being too salty for consumption will bring this review down to a 4/5 for me.

Carna Carne Asada Burrito with Pico de Gallo and Cheese enchilada style

First off service was rather fast and efficient. Friendly staff and they even have a robot bringing food out of the kitchen. Very unique I must say. The meals were very good although my wife said the ground beef was lacking in flavor and my Carna asada burrito was packed with steak but failed to have much pico , just a lot of meat. We like the new location and will be back.

Mini taquitos

Visited at an off time sometime between lunch and dinner so there were plenty of seats available. Our waiter was friendly and playful as well as attentive so we had a nice time. Haven't been to this location since they moved from their old location. It was nice and very spacious. The booth we sat in was a little worn but nothing to complain about. It was a little too early for dinner so got a snack of mini taquitos which was enjoyed alongside fresh made chips and yummy salsa. Don't care for onions so my lunch/dinner companion scored my guacamole. I remember all their portions were quite large so an appetizer was perfectly sized for my appetite. They were kind enough to let me get chicken and beef taquitos so I got to try both flavors. I thought the chicken was a nice change from my usual beef which I enjoyed. There's plenty of parking just outside the door. Give them a visit and remember to bring your appetite with you for a test Anna generously portioned meal!

Queso is not on menu but they have it.

It's awesome that Rio Rico was able to move into this free standing building in the same parking lot by the strip mall it used to be located in, and it was about time! The old location was always overcrowded and loud with long wait times due to limited seating. No longer is this an issue as the new building is huge and can handle their customers without cramming them so close together or creating an issue with noise. As usual, the food was amazing and well worth the drive up from Florence. We had the chili verde and the chili Colorado. Both had huge chunks of pork, one in a green sauce and one in red. The chili verde had a nice sweet flavor while the chili Colorado had a little bite to it without being overly spicy. It will be difficult to decide which one to go with next time as they were both great. Double rice will be my next choice though as the beans were a bit bland. The chips and salsa were great and they also have a Queso dip which is not on the menu that you can order. It was a might watered down for my taste unfortunately but that's okay. The main courses, outstanding service , reasonable prices and size of the portions more than make up for it.

Best Beef Taquitos, Ceviche, Carne Asada Tacos, Beef Tacos, Rice and Beans.

Rio Rico Mexican Grill The food is authentic, delicious from the tasty enchiladas, beef taquitos, beef tacos, rice, beans, salsas and the tacos de carne asada, we also had the refreshing ceviche as an appetizer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My son in-law and daughter invites me to Rio Rico every time I'm in town, they know how much I love the food, ambience and first rate service[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the beautiful waitress was so attentive and pleasant she served our food with a smile along with a service robot. I can't wait to return only next time Ii think I'll order a delicious Margarita with my meal. Thank you Rio Rico.

From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a beautiful, upscale atmosphere featuring an open kitchen, incredible artwork, warm lighting, and a vibe that's perfect for date night, celebrations, or dinner with friends. Now let's talk about the food... Beef Braised Short Rib: The star of the evening. Fall-apart tender, packed with rich flavor, and served over creamy mashed potatoes that soaked up every bit of that incredible sauce. Comfort food elevated to another level. Prime Ribeye: Perfectly cooked with a beautiful crust, topped with sautéed mushrooms, and every bite was juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier steakhouse. Crispy Lobster : Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a sweet-spicy sauce that kept us reaching for one more bite. Espresso Martini: Smooth, balanced, and the perfect cocktail to enjoy with dinner--or to finish the evening. Dessert: The perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Beautifully presented and every bite was worth saving room for. One of the things we really appreciated was how every dish arrived looking as good as it tasted. The presentation, quality of ingredients, and attention to detail were evident from start to finish. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively, and the open kitchen added to the overall experience. Food 5/5 Drinks 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Parking 4/5 Overall Rating: 5/5 Origen isn't just another new restaurant--it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating something special, planning a date night, or simply looking for one of Gilbert's newest dining destinations, this place deserves a spot on your list. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Seated at 6:45pm, we didn't get to order appetizers until nearly 7:30. The whole meal dragged on. Our table was never properly cleared of unused or dirty dishes and glasses. A male manager came by twice and grabbed a few things but otherwise our waitress was having to do it all herself. They also had the temperature incredibly warm there, so warm everyone was sweating and I almost put my hair up in a ponytail. Food was okay but not worth the price b Again, this was a Tuesday night, not a busy weekend. Won't be returning to this place.

I ordered the smoked chicken enchilada as I saw it was a Yelp favorite and it was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home since we all filled up on chips and salsa before our meal. This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups.
