Burritos and fries? Sign me up! I was really excited about this new biz that's been popping up all over the Valley. When I realized I was near one while I was out and about in Queen Creek, I couldn't help but to make a stop. The space was clean, inviting, and offers plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were patient with me and answered all of my questions. After much deliberation, I decided on the Xolo burro, which comes with beer batter fish, shrimp, spicy sauce, cheese, rice, and house sauce. It was a very tasty burrito, however, it was extremely greasy. I suspect the grease came from the fried fish and the two different sauces. It was dripping in grease with every bite. I couldn't finish it which was unfortunate because I love both fish and shrimp together. I'm happy to give them another try, but will skip the fried fish and multiple sauces next time. read more

We've been to Burros and Fries a few times now, and the food is okay, some items are better than others. For me personally, I appreciate the drive thru; it's convenient to be able to get a meal pretty quickly on the go. You are able to dine in as well. Their menu consists of breakfast options, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and more. I've tried their bowls with chicken and shrimp, street tacos with chicken, as well as their rolled tacos, and fish & shrimp tacos. I liked their fish and shrimp tacos the best, and the bowls were also good - very large and filling. The rolled tacos were a bit dry, although there was a good amount of guacamole that came with those, which I liked. Street tacos were pretty basic, the grilled chicken was also a bit dry. I have yet to try one of their burros and their loaded fries, but it's on my list. Overall, ok option in the area. The cost seems a tad bit higher than similar menu items at other establishments. I went in tonight as a repeat customer really wanting to enjoy a California burrito--and thankfully, the burrito still delivers. Really good, just like I remembered. We also grabbed the $2.50 fish taco special and, because fries are literally in the name, an order of fries. Unfortunately, the fries were the weakest part of the meal. They tasted like frozen Costco fries that hadn't been cooked long enough--soft, soggy, and pretty disappointing. When fries are part of your identity, I feel like they need to hit a little harder. Service was a mixed bag. I asked a pretty simple question about the potato taco, and the girl taking our order couldn't really answer it and seemed a little annoyed that I asked. Not a huge deal, but it definitely took away from the experience. And this may sound minor, but the napkins are terrible. They're almost Kleenex-like--thin, soft, and basically useless for a burrito-and-fries kind of meal. It's one of those little things you normally wouldn't think about until you actually need one. On the positive side, the horchata is fantastic and absolutely worth getting. And then there's the Pepsi fountain machine. An interesting choice in 2026. Who is still out there choosing Pepsi on purpose? I'll come back because the California burrito is legitimately good, but better fries, sturdier napkins, and a little friendlier service would make this place much easier to recommend. read more

Got the carne asada fries. Thought they'd be your typical crispy fries with proportional toppings and grilled carne asada. I was wrong. VERY undercooked basically raw fries and GUACAMOLE overload on a normal order of carne asada fries. Pretty much just Guacamole fries with meat. I came for a burrito and fries and somehow left in a committed relationship with this place. First, the tortillas deserve their own round of applause. They taste fresh, soft, and dangerously close to homemade. The carne asada burrito was packed with juicy, actually-good-quality meat, and not in that "where did the rest of it go?" kind of way. This thing had a real, respectable portion. The fries are your classic shoestring style, and they do the job well, especially when you start loading them up with extras like you've lost all self-control. My only heartbreak: Pepsi products. A tragic twist. But they redeemed themselves with Dr Pepper in the fountain, plus Mexican drinks and canned colas, so I've decided to begin healing. I have not tried the breakfast burritos yet, but based on everything else, I am fully prepared to believe they could change lives. Or at least improve mornings dramatically. Absolutely amazing and loved that it wasn't greasy and everything was fresh! My husband got the carne asada burro and was throughly pleased! Had a bite and was hooked! Definitely more fresh than what we get nearby at Filiberto's or Rili-B's. If you download the app you'll get a free churro and can accumulate reward points. They also have a Drive-Thru as that is how we knew they opened. The town did a bad job creating awareness for the business. We are excited the first visit didn't disappoint like the FarmerBoys did. When this location first opened, it was amazing! I honestly couldn't get enough of it. Since then, the quality of food has plummeted drastically. I've been so disappointed with my last few visits and I really want to continue to live this place. The Adobada burrito tastes like pure salt and grease, don't order it. The buffalo chicken fries are greasy and soggy. What happened to the fries? They're always undercooked, floppy and soggy now. Hubs and I tried out their street tacos and it was very good! We ordered their carne asada plus one birria street taco. The birria was good but I think the guacamole on the carne asada tacos puts it over the edge. The tortillas are absolutely delicious and they do not skimp on the meat. We went through their drive thru and it did not take long for us to get our food. The staff is polite and quick. I also purchased their Jamaica agua fresca and it was good too. We've been wanting to try this new spot since they opened a few weeks ago, so we took a detour from our usual lunch plans to check it out. The restaurant was moderately busy with a short line, and while there is a convenient drive-thru, note there is no outdoor seating. We downloaded the app before entering and scored a free "thank you" churro, which was a nice touch. For lunch, we ordered the surf and turf burro, five rolled tacos, and a bag of chips. A few hiccups: I wasn't allowed to split the taco order between chicken and beef, and they don't offer brewed iced tea (though they do sell small bottled tea). The food itself was a mixed bag. The surf and turf burro was excellent--huge portions with large shrimp and plenty of steak; we actually had to take half home. However, the chicken rolled tacos were just okay, and the $6 bag of chips was massive but felt a bit pricey. The salsa has a great flavor but definitely packs a punch! A few service notes: it took a bit of time for the food to arrive, a fountain soda is about $5, and the cashier wasn't sure how to scan the app for loyalty points. Total for two was around $43. I ended up landing on the Tijuana Burro with rice and beans and the small Adobada Fries. The Tijuana Burro was super good!!! Love the chilis in it. The Adobada Fries were like a El Pastor, and was super flavorful!! The rice and beans were really good and fresh. Can taste the fresh homemade flavor. Very filling. Couldn't finish the burro. **Poor Customer Service** Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing, mainly because of the customer service at the drive-thru. The young woman taking my order was extremely rude and impatient. She repeatedly said, "What do you want?" while I was still trying to place my order. When I asked her to give me a moment, she continued with, "What else?" I also asked if she could add some green salsa to my order. Instead of simply answering my question or politely letting me know that I could request it at the window, she responded with, "You can ask that at the window," in a very nasty and disrespectful attitude. I understand that fast-food restaurants can be busy, but there is no reason for customers to be treated rudely. A little patience, courtesy, and professionalism would have made a big difference. Easily some of the best potato tacos I've ever had, and I consider myself a potato taco connoisseur. The food is actually pretty good for a fast food joint. Unfortunately, we received zero hot sauces and no consomme for the birria melt. We split an order of Carne Asada Fries. The restaurant was busy. Service was good, the cashier taking our order answered some questions about the menu. A short time later our food came out. The portions sizes are very good. The Surf & Turf Burro was on point! My wife said her Rolled Tacos were the best she has had in Arizona. The Carne Asada fries were good also.
