    Carne Asada Fajitas $28 w/tip.

First time. Small place. You order at the register. I had the carne asada fajitas. $28 with tip. They were good.

Recently tried Lujos and was greatly impressed! The outside is very unassuming but once inside you step into a modern Mexican eatery with a very relaxed vibe. I can in later in the morning (10ish) and asked if they had breakfast items. The cashier was very nice and said of course, she was just changing the screens to lunch menu. I got the soyrizo burrito. The burrito itself was very big and the salsas were both tasty! Wish I had gotten a better picture but it was so good I couldn't wait to dig in!

Nice score at Lujos Cocina Mexicana. Located in a strip mall where patrons do not know how to park. The restaurant looks small from the outside and that is because it is small on the inside. You order your meal at the counter and it is delivered to your table. Ordered red and green enchiladas on their house special board with el pastor protein. You can also pick chicken or just cheese. Was not sure what to expect, when the dish arrived I could tell it was special. The dish was served with a small skillet of refried beans and a packed Spanish rice. A flower was growing out of my enchiladas the plate border had dollops of creama. Perfectly seasoned and very tasty. No chips and salsa with this dish. I assume those were extra. Great dining experience! Put this one on your list.

This restaurant is tucked away in a strip of stores at the corner of Val Vista and Elliot Rd. in Gilbert, AZ. The service is friendly, quick, and most importantly the food is delicious. I had some of the best Birria tacos here! I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Great customer service, super friendly!! The food quality was also amazing and their portions are massive!

Finally got to check this place out and really enjoyed it. Food was made fresh and it was delicious. The green cheese enchiladas had great flavor and the beans and fluffy rice were so yummy. My son got the burrito and pretty much ate it all. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to have some chips in salsa available because I feel like that's a great start to prepare you for fantastic Mexican food. Will recommend this place in the future.

The food was great, and I really liked how many vegetarian options there were. It all seemed pretty authentic, and the interior was modern and clean. Service was really slow when I was there, despite there being only one other guest, which is the only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5. I would prefer to have a server come to the table over a counter service/server come to your table mixed style. You ordered at the counter but they brought drinks, food, and silverware to the table, which made it confusing when you needed something.

Both times I've been here , the owners have been TOP NOTCH and let me custom order my food with a smile . I dont eat meat. While they offer soy chorizo, it's on only listed on certain items. They've let me try it on different plates, and hit it out of the park! Highly recommend this place to anyone who is vegetarian or plant based.

I haven't tried this place before. It was a pleasant experience. The young lady at the counter was very helpful on answering all our questions. She had a very nice smile as well. My wife ordered the chicken burrito and I had the beef flautas. The food was very well prepared and had great flavor. We ate inside and it was nice and clean. The restrooms were clean as well.

Shrimp burro. It was ok....flavorless unless u add their sauce.

Nothing extra. Had a shrimp burro and a chicken burro. You get no sides. Everything is ala carte. Flavorless unless you add their sauce. All the great reviews pulled me in but waste of money. I will stick with Nandos my go to

My first time trying Lujo's and it was amazing! The customer service was awesome plus they have vegan/vegetarian options for my father. We have tried a lot of Mexican food places in Gilbert and they are the best by far.

Let me begin by saying my husband and I just wanted a Mexican food date. Google did us good! We walked into our new favorite place. I got the Los Ponchos Chimi and my husband got the Lujo Burrito. From the friendly and helpful staff to the presentation of the food we were already so impressed. The food MY LORD is so fresh, so delicious, and gorgeous! I'm a big fan of presentation and after the one owners Paula told us the story behind this place, I was sold. Mom and pop diner meets high end restaurant. They took this place over from a diner their parents had and turned it into our new favorite restaurant hands down will be back 10 out of 10. Also, the churro fries are TO DIE FOR.

    Al Pastor Tacos mild heat

If you're craving authentic Mexican flavors with a modern, elevated twist--this is the spot. From the moment the plates hit the table, I was blown away by how stunning everything looked. The presentation was true art, but the real magic was in the flavors. The al pastor tacos were perfection--juicy, flavorful, and topped with just the right balance of fresh onions, cilantro, and tangy lime. Every bite had that smoky, savory goodness you want in a taco. The steak red enchiladas were rich and comforting, smothered in a deep, bold sauce that had layers of flavor without being overpowering. Paired with fluffy rice and creamy beans, it was the kind of dish that makes you slow down just to savor it. What I loved most is how everything tasted as good as it looked--fresh ingredients, thoughtful garnishes, and vibrant colors that matched the bold flavors. From the first bite to the last, it was seriously amazing. Beautiful food, incredible taste, and an experience worth repeating. Gilbert is lucky to have Lujos Cocina Mejicana--I'll definitely be back.
