I'm so pleased with my pest service. Every time they come to spray my lawn or my interior, they are so kind and respectful. In addition if I ever have any problems, a quick call to the office is always answered by a very kind lady Marcy who is a true gem. For example, I called to mention that I saw some small pests indoors, and they were there within the week for an extra spray. Also, I am incredibly displeased with another service I bought prior to knowing royal pest, I'm sure everyone is familiar with Terminix. I already paid the initiation fee for termite control with Terminix, which was around $6000 for doing bait traps, but that is kind of where their service ended. Despite multiple calls to them, I haven't had any luck with having them come out a second time. I was thinking about switching to Royal pest for my termite control however, I already paid the initiation fee with Terminix and it doesn't really make sense to switch back over since I'm only paying a small continuation fee. But if I knew before, I would've used royal pest for everything. 5/5! 10/10 stars! Great company - Catherine Uthe

The appointment was confirmed and I received text updates 48 hours prior to my appointment. The morning of the appointment I received a message with an eta for Gustavo. He arrived, and was kind enough to slip on shoe coverings before entering the home. The process was quick, and he explained to me where he sprayed and what treatments he did. This had been one of the easiest companies for home service that I have dealt with. From customer support, to the actual appointment and service tech. Pricing was very reasonable and it was one of the factors when making my decision on which company to choose. I needed preventative care, and it was exactly what I got. Highly recommend, and Gustavo is wonderful, he even played with my dog for a min.

They came the next day and upsold my wife on a package to prevent termites as well (our house was termite proofed already and we have had no issues). In truth they could see how she was scared of mice and took advantage of her. They charged $2500 and placed 4 "victor" mouse traps in total. They spent 20 minutes on the property and did not do any sealing of the house. Of the traps they placed two were in the same one kitchen drawer. Another trap they placed under the bed in the guest room and did not tell anyone besides my housekeeper who barely speaks English - we opened that door and my dog entered the room and the trap snapped on him! There is literally a bowl of dog food and a dog bed in that room how negligent can these "professionals" be. Of course I called to discuss these issues but for days we were transferred manager to manager. In the end they refuse to issue a refund but I am still going to go with another company for the job. In the end I paid $2500 for 6 dollars worth of mouse traps and a ton of aggravation.

Unfortunately, the communication and customer service throughout the process were extremely disappointing. My biggest issue was that I had to constantly seek out basic information that I expected the company to provide proactively. I was told I would receive an email with documentation explaining how to prepare my home for fumigation, including what items needed to be removed, what could remain, how to properly store food, what to expect during the process, and when I would be able to safely return home. I never received that information. I had to repeatedly reach out with questions, including having to ask for bags to properly store my food. Even on the day of service, I was still concerned about whether my food was being stored appropriately because I had not been given clear instructions beforehand. The scheduling and communication were also frustrating. I was initially given an 8 AM-8 PM timeframe, which is an extremely large window. I had to call myself to get a more specific timeframe, and even then, the company was delayed. I was told that it was "termite season" and they were busy. I completely understand that businesses get busy, but being busy doesn't prevent a company from communicating clearly and keeping customers informed. I also had questions about when I would be allowed back into my home and what the process would look like, and I had to continue reaching out for answers. Even as of today, there are still questions I feel I should have been provided answers to without having to repeatedly ask. At times, I honestly felt like I was bothering the staff simply by asking questions after my deposit had been paid. Communication through text messages was inconsistent and felt very disorganized. One positive is that the final price for the service was reasonable, although it was over $200 different from the initial virtual quote, which was another surprise. Overall, my frustration isn't necessarily with the service itself or the price it's with the lack of communication, preparation information, and customer guidance. When someone is having their home tented and fumigated, there are understandably a lot of questions and concerns. Customers shouldn't have to chase the company down for basic safety and preparation information. The service may be reasonably priced, but the communication needs significant improvement. I would strongly recommend providing customers with a detailed preparation packet/email, clear timelines, food-storage instructions, re-entry expectations, and proactive updates before and during the fumigation process. Price matches quality of service!

It would be great if Jose Aparicio of True Pest Control actually did his job. But he's a hustler…read morewho is just looking to keep coming back and keep charging you without any guarantee whatsover that he can and will eliminate a small roach problem. I'm a realtor with 22 years working in Dade and Broward and have seen all types of bug and pest problems. I worked with dozens of pest control companies. When they tell you they can't address a small roach problem without coming multiple times, that's a lie. I have had pest control companies that have come to homes and have eradicated the problem in one shot. And not with just spraying but actually setting bait traps etc. and attacking the problem at it's source. But most just come, spray in the corners, collect their money and then use the unresolved problem to coerce you saying INFESTATION as often as possible to get you into paying them over and over again. Just like Jose did with me at my home after I called him because we say a roach here and there. The key for them is to either get you to sign up for a monthly visit or at least a few follow ups so they can make more than their upfront fee which they use to lure you in. I had a few roaches in my kitchen, we took everything out of the kitchen and cleaned it thoroughly and after he came. But the problem just continued as if he hadn't even been there and with barely a few dead roaches over the week that followed. And then he used his kind polite voice to tell me that he couldn't eliminate the INFESTATION unless he came 2 more times. Now if I don't see any improvement whatsoever the first time around, why would I agree to pay you again? And if there was an INFESTATION why wouldn't there be a boat load of roaches everywhere dead? He had no answer but kept saying INFESTATION and then proceeded to try to convince me that 2 more treatments at $75 a pop was going to make it all go away. So I tested him and said how much money will it take to end this? He then said monthly treatments was the solution but that with 2 more treatments paid upfront the problem would be gone. I hate being hustled by contractors of any kind but especially those that use their skill to affect my family's health. But this is how they structure their business because doing a good job the first time around isn't profitable enough. You have to keep milking the client and make sure they keep you coming back. True Pest Control is exactly what the name says... the control your pest issue completely in order to keep you shelling out money. Jose Aparicio is a liar and a thief and I am letting everyone here know that this unlicensed, unprofessional and unsuccesful individual is exactly the reason why they invented the saying BUYER BEWARE. Or in spanish lo barato sale caro! Eres una desgracia, encuentra algo mas que hacer con tu vida porque en esto eres una porqueria! That was for him because English and roaches are not his forte.
