The appointment was confirmed and I received text updates 48 hours prior to my appointment. The morning of the appointment I received a message with an eta for Gustavo. He arrived, and was kind enough to slip on shoe coverings before entering the home. The process was quick, and he explained to me where he sprayed and what treatments he did. This had been one of the easiest companies for home service that I have dealt with. From customer support, to the actual appointment and service tech. Pricing was very reasonable and it was one of the factors when making my decision on which company to choose. I needed preventative care, and it was exactly what I got. Highly recommend, and Gustavo is wonderful, he even played with my dog for a min.

Unfortunately, the communication and customer service throughout the process were extremely disappointing. My biggest issue was that I had to constantly seek out basic information that I expected the company to provide proactively. I was told I would receive an email with documentation explaining how to prepare my home for fumigation, including what items needed to be removed, what could remain, how to properly store food, what to expect during the process, and when I would be able to safely return home. I never received that information. I had to repeatedly reach out with questions, including having to ask for bags to properly store my food. Even on the day of service, I was still concerned about whether my food was being stored appropriately because I had not been given clear instructions beforehand. The scheduling and communication were also frustrating. I was initially given an 8 AM-8 PM timeframe, which is an extremely large window. I had to call myself to get a more specific timeframe, and even then, the company was delayed. I was told that it was "termite season" and they were busy. I completely understand that businesses get busy, but being busy doesn't prevent a company from communicating clearly and keeping customers informed. I also had questions about when I would be allowed back into my home and what the process would look like, and I had to continue reaching out for answers. Even as of today, there are still questions I feel I should have been provided answers to without having to repeatedly ask. At times, I honestly felt like I was bothering the staff simply by asking questions after my deposit had been paid. Communication through text messages was inconsistent and felt very disorganized. One positive is that the final price for the service was reasonable, although it was over $200 different from the initial virtual quote, which was another surprise. Overall, my frustration isn't necessarily with the service itself or the price it's with the lack of communication, preparation information, and customer guidance. When someone is having their home tented and fumigated, there are understandably a lot of questions and concerns. Customers shouldn't have to chase the company down for basic safety and preparation information. The service may be reasonably priced, but the communication needs significant improvement. I would strongly recommend providing customers with a detailed preparation packet/email, clear timelines, food-storage instructions, re-entry expectations, and proactive updates before and during the fumigation process. Price matches quality of service!

In addition if I ever have any problems, a quick call to the office is always answered by a very kind lady Marcy who is a true gem. For example, I called to mention that I saw some small pests indoors, and they were there within the week for an extra spray. Also, I am incredibly displeased with another service I bought prior to knowing royal pest, I'm sure everyone is familiar with Terminix. I already paid the initiation fee for termite control with Terminix, which was around $6000 for doing bait traps, but that is kind of where their service ended. Despite multiple calls to them, I haven't had any luck with having them come out a second time. I was thinking about switching to Royal pest for my termite control however, I already paid the initiation fee with Terminix and it doesn't really make sense to switch back over since I'm only paying a small continuation fee. I gave them a call and they sent someone out the next morning. Jacob came to my home dressed professionally and was very well spoken. He gave me his opinion on my ant problem and we discussed options for resolution. Once I came to a decision, he went back out to his truck and immediately started to treatment on my home. He was extremely thorough, respectful of my belongings, and mindful of my small children. You are a disgusting individual. We never would've agreed to pay for your services knowing that you were going to euthanize them, we would've dealt with the problem in a different manner. We noticed for the first time ever some noises in our attic realizing there were critters walking around. Found Rat Experts online and after doing research including other companies decided to call them for an estimate. Great service, very responsive. Edgar answered my call directly (no operators or schedulers involved) and accommodated us for the next day. Both Edgar and Alexis were wonderful. The service was excellent, the price was fair and much more reasonable than other bigger companies. They were able to catch and eliminate the critters and we noticed a total difference within 5 days. They completed a full attic disinfection and also sealed off all potential entry points to ensure this would not happen again. If you encounter a similar problem with rats crawling in your attic do not hesitate to give Edgar a call. I have had a 'rat problem' in my attic for quite some time. I tried many things to get rid of them. Then Edgar from Rat Experts was recommended to me so I called him. Edgar came out promptly, surveyed my property and proposed a solution. It took about a week to complete all the steps and stages (including clean up and disinfectant) but he did the job. He was professional, prompt, courteous and extremely effective. In addition, his prices are more than fair. Our problem was rats living in the attic. One month of actively using other company' extermination services (setting traps, checking traps every 3 days, etc.) did not help to completely resolve a problem. So we had to find someone els. TV STOLEN + WINDOWS OPEN + GATES OPEN ALL WEEKEND!!!!!…read more The service was TERRIBLE and the owner JOSE VELEZ (Joe) was extremely disrespectful, he literally yelled and insulted us over the phone after we calmly provided constructive criticism after they missed and messed up SEVERAL steps in the process, left our gates and windows open, and we had a new TV STOLEN FROM OUR PLACE in the time they were here tenting!!!! We called to calmly mention these things and talk it through as new customers but the OWNER JOSE VELEZ (JOE) went literally NUTS of the phone. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. There are much better companies out there. The tent wasn't even up a full 18hrs. We put a hold on our payment until we could discuss this with them with the intention of paying after having a civilized conversation (as it was only $2K bill - not much money at all) but JOSE VELEZ JUST YELLED and didn't even want to listen to a single word, repeating over and over through loud screams that we wanted to "screw them over" ... (again, over only 2K) ... If this is the way the owner and president of the business runs his business, he probably shouldn't run it anymore. Very low class. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
