I havent tried that many poke places around this area so I decided to yelp for a place and amazing poke came up. I came during happy hour on the weekday and got $2 off the bowl. Originally I got the 3 scoops but decided to get 4 scoops of albacore, tuna, spicy tuna, and their daily special protein which was marinated shrimp. They pretty much have all the servings a typical poke bowl place would have including mango. I also asked for half brown rice and mixed salad and was able to choose up to 4 different sauces before additional charges applied. Yes, its true they put vinegar in their sliced cucumbers. Not sure why they do this, but it didn't taste bad but I think regular cucumbers would do just fine as well. My total with tax and discount came out to about $17. It was a good portion and taste was decent. I was able to eat it twice. It doesn't beat my favorite poke place in HB, but it was worth the try. read more

The portions here are incredibly generous for the price. they definitely don't skimp on the protein and toppings! The service is fantastic, and the restaurant is spotless and welcoming. I tried Amazing Poke recently. I have a go to spot in OC but I live in the IE, so I've been on the hunt for a local poké spot. The reviews are really good so I drove out on my lunch break to get some poké. The service was really good. There was a customer in front of me with a large order so another staff came and took mine. The price point is a bit on the higher side, $15 for a small bowl. Rolls are pricey too, $10 for a California Roll. The ingredients looked very fresh, I got the small bowl with half salad and half white rice and also an all white rice with 3 scoops of protein.i also got a California Roll. The reason I am taking a star off: scoop portions ARE SUPER SMALL. I recommend the business get bigger scoop sizes or overfill them because the size and portion I was served were ridiculously small. I'm talking like 4 salmon little cubes per scoop! I had to ask for a second scoop and yes I was charged . They use the same size scoop for toppings so you barely get anything there too. When I got home and began eating the bowl, it was DELICIOUS. I think if I'm in the area or have a strong craving I will be back. However, staff should overfill scoops or get bigger ones! read more

I loveeee Poke! And so so glad there is one right next to work. I stopped by Amazing Poke to get some food to go. They have small, medium and large scoops you can order. I did the large with half sushi rice and half mixed greens. I tried the spicy tuna, tuna, couple scoops of salmon and the spicy salmon along with some veggies and their sauces. I wanted to try a little bit of everything and glad I did because I ended up really liking the spicy salmon. The quality was really good for not only the fish options, but the veggies too. I also thought their sauces were very tasty and went well with the poke. The girl helping me was very friendly and answered any questions I had. The inside is large and has plenty of seating. The prices I felt were a little steep, but comparable to other Poke places. One thing I wish they did was offer a free miso soup with your order. My how things have drastically changed from 10 months ago. 10 months ago the portions were bigger now they are teaspoon sizes and I got the five scoop poke bowl. That was a medium. And they didn't even put in a lot of rice either. 5 scoops, felt like 3 scoops, the rice wasn't really a lot either so I had to make up for it by piling on the garnishes. And even then they were still stingy. We don't mean for them to be super heavy handed, just normal portions. Sadly the poke was not that fresh either, the albacore seemed like it had freezer burn or something on it, it was like a layer of freezer burn on it and some parts of the tuna seemed slimy and didn't really taste fresh, it kind of fishy after taste to it and you can't have that as a poke place. I might need to do a detox after this one. The girl wasn't communicating well either, she was just talking under her voice, you could barely hear her like super soft spoken, but she seemed scared to give us normal portions. Like they gave her an instruction manual, and she carried it to a T. She was a nice girl , but you're in customer service so you got to communicate but maybe it's her first job or something so I don't want to get on her too much. But it's too bad this place is a miss now from 10 months ago. They were pretty new on the scene 10 months ago, so maybe they were trying to gain a customer base by hooking it up on the portions in the beginning and now they're pulling back the reins. We've been waiting for this place to open and we're pleased to have another option for lunch! Upon entering, everything is clean and new. The staff was very polite and welcoming. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has steps on which to choose first. There are 3 size options, small has 3 scoops, medium has 4 and large has 5 scoops. Medium and Large bowls are the same size just different protein scoop amounts. The main reason for the 5 stars was the taste of the food! Tooting my own horn but I chose the best mixture for my first time at this poke location. But everything in my bowl was delicious. A small size bowl offers 3 protein options and you can choose between brown rice, sushi rice, regular white rice or greens. I would say the amount is just right, I don't feel it was too little. I had left overs with a small. I didn't see the pricing list but for 2 adults (with 1 small bowl, 1 large bowl and 2 can drinks our total was over $30. Amazing Poke is just that... Amazing! Hubby and I have been on a Poke kick the past 2 weeks and we came last week to Amazing Poke. We also visited 3 other spots around our area. I have to say Amazing Poke was by far our favorite! First, the staff is super welcoming and nice. The establishment is SUPER clean and their options of additions is bigger than the other places. Their portion size is bigger than the other places and this is something I really appreciate because we want to feel full. Price is average like all other poke places. You have to remember good fresh fish is not cheap... So a small bowl with 3 proteins usually is about $14 and a medium bowl with 4 proteins is a about $16. This is what we order between my husband and I. If I'm not mistaken they have a lunch special too because when we came last week we paid a couple of dollars less, I wish I would've asked... either way I would pay it all! My husband said today, "I don't ever have to eat out for sushi because I can go to Amazing Poke for my fix". He absolutely loves it here and I have to agree! We will definitely become regulars (at least once a week). Dangerous that we live literally down the street... For those curious, you can eat inside and outside. It's not a huge area but I wouldn't expect a large restaurant. We usually order to go and eat at home. They also have a reward points so that you can get points for buying and get $ off of future purchases. If you're looking for a great poke place you have to go here! Skinny kid only heard 5 scoops and decided to make a large bowl, just went on autopilot and would not budge. " you asked for 5 scoops and that's a large." My to go place for poke. I'm getting large bowl with five proteins. Mostly tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, or spicy salmon, and shrimp. Sushi rice is well made, no problems, the rest of the veggie options do well. The people behind the counter are young but good servers. I can't complain when they portion the proteins. Overall vibe of the little shopping mall is cool and the parking is plentiful in the garage next to the mall. There are some other places around if you get tired of poke and also some dessert places and coffee. Good place for a lunch. read more
