The scoops are TINY for the price. The fish doesn't have a good texture. The furikake is not well balanced-- overwhelmingly off-seaweed flavor and not a lot of sesame seeds. The sauces are underwhelming in flavor. Overall one of the worst bowls I've ever had, wow

Alll of the ingredients are fresh and the sauces are delicious

The food is delicious, the customer service is alllllways excellent everyone is always so nice and the ambiance is very nice. I have been to both locations and it's really good you have to try the poke and the rolls are delicious!

Spicy salmon, spicy tuna, spicy crab meat! And all the ingredients! Yum!

Best poke! I love the freshness and the quality of it! No other place has this kind of poke!

Beverage buyer beware: This rating is about the price of a fountain drink here. I ordered a Pepsi it only comes in one size, which is actually equivalent to a medium size beverage at McDonald's and the price with Tax was $3.81 for just the soda.

Not even hot Cheetos can beat the bland

Not-so-amazing-poke. We tossed 1/2 the spicy tuna roll and 1/2 the Hot Cheeto roll. I was a bit scared eating my poke bowl, but I was starving so I got it down. The only good tasting item was the cooked one, baked salmon roll. I was beyond disappointed. Nothing seemed fresh. No flavor. Why? I don't get this place.

Great place to come by and get food, the price is good for the amount you get. Very nice employees and overall a good stop to eat at. Thank you PS. I ate most of it sorry for the photo

Amazing poke truly lives up to its name! It was really good and the portions were good, service was friendly!

    Salmon Baked Roll

This baked sushi roll is amazing--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The creamy topping and warm rice make every bite delicious. Definitely the best baked rolls I've tried. Highly recommended! The place is clean and nice to stay, and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They provided excellent service and made the experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers.

I tried Amazing Poke recently. I have a go to spot in OC but I live in the IE, so I've been on the hunt for a local poké spot. The reviews are really good so I drove out on my lunch break to get some poké. The service was really good. There was a customer in front of me with a large order so another staff came and took mine. The price point is a bit on the higher side, $15 for a small bowl. Rolls are pricey too, $10 for a California Roll. The ingredients looked very fresh, I got the small bowl with half salad and half white rice and also an all white rice with 3 scoops of protein.i also got a California Roll. The reason I am taking a star off: scoop portions ARE SUPER SMALL. I recommend the business get bigger scoop sizes or overfill them because the size and portion I was served were ridiculously small. I'm talking like 4 salmon little cubes per scoop! I had to ask for a second scoop and yes I was charged . They use the same size scoop for toppings so you barely get anything there too. When I got home and began eating the bowl, it was DELICIOUS. I think if I'm in the area or have a strong craving I will be back. However, staff should overfill scoops or get bigger ones!

Was very impressed with this poke place. Very clean, and service was excellent. Only took one star off for the price alittle on the high side They also have a frequent buyer card and points system

Like so many places though, they took advantage of the Covid-era inflation and have raised their prices much more than warranted. My favorite was the Garlic Shrimp plate, but the price has DOUBLED in the last couple of years, and I refuse to be gouged. The cost of the other plates is now higher than the shrimp used to be too. The Hawaiian rice was tasty but always overpriced considering the little portion of meat in it. This is not chain restaurant, so I seriously doubt they are paying their staff the fast-food wage that CA mandates for fast-food workers, so I chalk it up to price gouging. Chicken, rice and macaroni prices have not doubled, and I can buy over 2 lbs of shrimp for $18 (total cost of Garlic Shrimp plate) vs the 14 shrimp on the Garlic Shrimp plate. So, they've lost a steady customer because of their greed. I'd go back if their prices were more reasonable because I used to enjoy most of the dishes I tried. After reading a few other reviews, it sounds like the owners have changed and the nice guy that used to work the front is now gone since I've been there over a yr ago. If they bothered to post a menu online, I could see if the prices are now more reasonable and I'd try it again. That's why I checked out their website today, but no luck.

I ordered the Chicken Combo (Chicken Katsu & BBQ Chicken - $13.19) and Spam Musubi ($5.89). The Chicken Combo is a lot of food. The Chicken Katsu is crisp, large, and crunchy. The BBQ Chicken is thick, peppery, and moist. The rice and cabbage are fresh. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the macaroni salad; it tasted like water mixed with leftover mayonnaise. Thankfully, the macaroni salad's lingering aftertaste can easily be ignored. Also, I enjoyed the Spam Musubi. Its appearance is underwhelming; however, the flavors and textures are fantastic. Too many other places sell rubbery, chewy seaweed; squishy, spongey rice; and overly-sweet, mushy spam. Wok & Grill avoids these errors. I arrived at Wok & Grill on a Friday (around 12:16PM). The food arrived in 13 minutes. I noticed many customers entering and exiting. Wok & Grill's ambiance is mixed. The counter looks like a gasoline station window; it's surrounded by transparent plastic windows. The staff speaks into a mini microphone to communicate; sometimes the words are muffled. The location is also warm and slightly humid. The location has a restroom and several tables to dine-in. The music is barely audible; the hum from the soda vending machine is the loudest sound. The location is also relatively clean; I had to wipe off some tiny crumbs from my seat before sitting down. However, staff appears very dedicated. The chefs are cooking nonstop, and its cashier appears passionate when welcoming new customers. I noticed how staff flamboyantly juggled a plastic to-go bag between hands before handing the item. "I can read your mind," he'd playfully explain, before quickly saying "Hola!" to a new customer. Overall, Wok & Grill is easy to recommend if you're nearby. The food is great value; the staff is passionate; and the portions are large and tasty. Wok & Grill is not a unique experience, but it's a solid choice.

The foam visibly softened and melted wherever it touched the food. They didn't even bother to put a layer of aluminum foil between the food and the container. EPS is not designed for food at this temperature. Once it starts softening and melting, chemicals from the plastic can migrate into the food. This isn't acceptable food handling. Heat resistant containers cost very little, so the only explanation is they're too cheap to use the right packaging. I won't be back until they stop cutting corners.

That will be the main reason I probably won't return. The service was good. It was quick and friendly. And the ambiance was alright too as everything was clean, efficient, and not distracting. I just agree with the statement earlier that there are better rice bowl, hawaiian, and/or teriyaki food joints in the area at either a much better quality or better pricing. This seems to find that line where what you get, though good, is a bit over-priced for what you get and there is no recourse to get something smaller because then you will be over-paying and still hungry. I'd almost give this place a 4 though because I did enjoy the meal quality-wise.

Your favorite Yelp correspondent and occasional Uber Eats driver found himself in the northeast corner of Ontario after ferrying a Mediterranean meal from my hometown of Diamond Bar to Ontario when my attention was riveted by the "Kra Z Kai's Laotian BBQ" signage alight on the building. Though I was crestfallen about Kra Z Kai's closure, I decided to roll the dice -shootz my luck, if you'll pardon my brutal pun- and try out Shootz. I tabbed the best looking item on their pictorial menu- Their much balkyhooed Kimchi Buttered Katsu Chicken Combo, which comes with spicy Mac Salad and steamed rice tossed with green onions and furikake, a popular Nipponese seasoning comprised of minced dried seaweed (nori), sesame seeds and salt/pepper. The moneymaker dish is excellent. The katsu chicken has a nice but not overly crunchy exterior, drenched in a flavorful, Umani-rich sauce made of kimchi butter. Shootz has locations in Ontario, Whittier and Stanton, so I don't know when I'll have it again...but if I I find myself in Ontario again, then I'll definitely take -you guessed it- another shot.

Yes, I arrived 50 minutes before they were closing, but it certainly didn't warrant being treated like I had wrecked wedding plans. First off, the first was good as usual. I was in the mood for shrimp and Ono is pretty reliable at making an inexpensive breaded shrimp entree. The BBQ chicken was fairly delicious. Ono making inedible food is never the problem. They consistently rock everything they offer on their menu. As some of you know, it's a pet peeve of mine when I call special attention to eating it there as opposed to getting it to go. I like taking my time--still being respectful if they're closing--to eat my meals while the food is piping hot, while I have access to refills if I need it, and while I still have the ability to order more while I'm there if I'm still hungry. I hate when food joints place everything in containers and bag it all up, trying to kick you out the door. It ruins the ambience of meals being a time to relax and recalibrate. Not to mention I appreciate the opportunity to take pictures for Yelp on a plate or platter while the food is looking particularly photogenic. I can forgive a place if they no longer use real plates or platters, opting for a container. But I despise having to remove my food from a plastic bag that I don't need and then becomes a thing that goes into the trash because it's now used. So it was that I asked for a tray so I could take my dinner to a table. Instead of giving me one though, the worker looked like she wanted to tell me no, that eating in-house wasn't allowed. She turned to her co-worker saying, this guy wants tray. The second worker then asked me, "Do you really need a tray?" I'm pretty sure that's not up to the worker to decide if I require a tray. That's purely a decision on whether my current food load, condiments, sauces, and utensils warrant having a medium by which to ferry all of it to my table. After assuring her that, yes, indeed, I needed a tray, she finally handed one over. After that, maybe it was part of their closing duties, but they constantly had one worker sweeping the floor, wiping the tables, pushing the chairs in, &c... while I was trying to eat. It was one step away from being surveilled during my meal. Perhaps they thought they could catch me underutilizing said tray to get a picture for a gotcha moment. Or maybe they just generally dislike when customers use trays. I don't know. All I know is it gave the whole meal a feeling of being on the clock, having such helicopter tactics utilized against me. It tainted the whole meal. I hate having people moving around me when I'm trying to eat, but it's especially unnerving when it feels targeted to make me uncomfortable. That's some passive aggressive silliness. As aforementioned, the food was still delectable. You really can't go wrong with Hawaiian food when you're in a certain mood--shrimp or otherwise. But I don't know how often I'll be coming to this location if this retaliatory behavior is what I can expect when I humbly give directions to eat my food there and utilize one of their most sacred trays.

I don't mind using the kiosk but the tone was very condescending. Then when I got my order and asked for tartar sauce the other employee handed it to me silently, I said thanks, he couldn't even say you're welcome or have a nice day. They should really step up their customer service skills and not be so stingy with the tartar sauce. It should be included with every seafood meal or have a pump at the drink station like the teriyaki sauce. Just weird vibes here. I probably will use a different location from now on.
