Ozeki Sushi Review -- AYCE Sushi for $37.95? Say less. I'm always looking for a sushi spot that delivers on quality, flavor, and value, and Ozeki Sushi definitely impressed! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our server Gisel was amazing -- friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was great from start to finish. Great service always makes a meal even better. We tried their all-you-can-eat sushi menu for only $37.95 per person, and it was absolutely worth it. The menu had a great variety, and the sushi came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Standout dishes: Lemon Sauce Salmon -- 10/10 (the star of the meal!)This was not your typical salmon roll. The fresh salmon was topped with their delicious lemon sauce and finished with a fresh lemon wedge right on top. The combination of the creamy, tangy lemon sauce with the brightness of fresh lemon added such a refreshing flavor that made this my favorite dish of the night. Salmon Hand Roll -- 10/10 Fresh, balanced, and packed with flavor. The perfect hand roll with a great salmon-to-rice ratio. Baked Lobster -- 10/10 Rich, savory, and full of flavor. Definitely one I'd order again. Chicken Teriyaki Bowl -- A pleasant surprise! The chicken was tender, flavorful, and the sauce was delicious. The drink specials were another win! Their buy one, get one free soju for only $12.50 is such a great deal. My personal favorite was the blueberry soju -- sweet, refreshing, and the perfect pairing with sushi. Ending the meal with the strawberry mochi was the perfect finishing touch. A light, sweet dessert to wrap up an amazing sushi experience. Overall, Ozeki Sushi checks all the boxes: great value, fresh food, friendly service, and delicious flavors. I would rate this a 4.5, especially for an AYCE in the area. This is the closest AYCE sushi spots near us and it's been our go-to. Obviously, this isn't super authentic or the best sushi, but for the area, it's our favorite. It used to be busier so we would try to get there before 6:30 pm or there's a wait, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. But the last time we were here on a Friday night, there wasn't a wait. Must be the economy. My son loves this spot because he loved their kids bento box, but he's upgraded now to the kids AYCE and gets 2-3 orders of teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura. The decor is dark with modern-ish black walls and Japanese inspired murals. The sushi bar is fairly large and there are at least 4-5 tvs showing basketball or baseball games or fish tanks. The wait staff is usually pretty attentive but the last time it was kinda slow, but we had to flag a waitress down to get refills and the check. We love their fusion nigiri - pepper salmon, pepper tuna, garlic albacore! We just wish the rice was less. read more

We stopped in for lunch and ended up walking out because the customer service was so horrendous in the 10 minutes we were there. It wasn't busy at all, there were open tables and multiple signs at the front that said to wait to be seated, so we did. We stood there for several minutes with no greeting or acknowledgment, even though staff clearly saw us. When a server finally came over, instead of seating us, she told us we had to sign in on a tablet and then chose to cash out the check for someone who had just walked in behind us before helping us. It felt blatantly rude and dismissive and at that point we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. We were really disappointed and won't be returning; I hope management addresses how guests are greeted and prioritized because no one should be treated that way when they're just trying to sit down for lunch. read more

Just recently saw this place now has AYCE. We tried it out and this will definitely be our local place from now on. Service was good. Our waitress was nice. She did her best to answer our questions and when she wasn't completely sure she went back and got confirmation from her fellow staff members without being prompted to do so. It was a really hot day and it was nice to come into a nice, clean establishment that was welcoming and cool. Also, because it was a hot day, it was nice to have sushi. Food tasted good and also looked very nicely prepared. Sushi chefs were great. Definitely coming back with the family. Thank you to all of the staff. read more

You naturally think that and AYCE sushi place would probably be mid to low quality. Not here. Everything we ordered tasted and looked fresh. The price for the amount was insane! Service was prompt and courteous, facility is clean, we got our moneys worth without compromise on quality. Some honorable mentions for me are the baked lobster roll, lobster barrel, and their shrimp tempura. My hubby loved their ono, pepper tuna, creamy salmon, and pepper salmon. read more

Victims of their own success. That basically sums up Ozeki. We've been coming here for over 5 years now and just to be clear we LOVE IT. The food is great. The quality is great. The ambiance is great. However, the service has really gone down hill. You never had to wait for a table. Now there's always a wait list. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing... Means their doing something right. The price and quality are matched just right. But once you sit down, is when the issues start to add up. No water on the table. No soy sauce. No ginger. No wasabi. These are basic items you need for sushi. And when you ask the servers, they seem annoyed that you always need something. Now to be fair I don't think it's the servers fault. They all appear to be over worked and the restaurant seems to be under staffed. We're consistently asking for items that were missed from our order. The items are taking way to long to get to the table. Ex: Miso soup. The soup should already be ready, they just have to pour it and bring it to your table. However they seem to be very unorganized, flustered and overworked. @Management. Your restaurant is great but your service needs major overhaul. Hire more staff. Get another sushi chef. Change something. You have a great customer base, but you're on the verge of losing them. read more

I've lived down the street from this place for years and only just visited. I regret not going sooner. You know it's a local fave when the place fills up on Fri night. Such an amazing place. The inside vibe was not what I expected from a small corner Japanese spot (in a positive way). The food and servers were also amazing. Great for family dinners or to catch up with an old friend. Since in a small plaza, parking is a hit or miss but we lucked out. We had the AYCE and worth the $. But just be mindful that some rolls were 4 pcs while others were 8! So full. read more
