House salad -- limp lettuce (not fresh or crisp) with browned edges. Gross!

Overall I was underwhelmed. Much better sushi places around town. This was a pick up order via UberEats. Have ordered from here before but will not in the future. The good: not too much rice on the rolls. Some places overdo the rice and skimp on the fillings. Miso does not and that is a plus! The bad: barely any sauce on the "Favorite Roll"; fish was not as fresh tasting as it could have been. And the house salad was limp and brown around the edges of the lettuce. Not fresh at all. Didn't even bother to taste it. Salad went directly into the trash!! They should be embarrassed to serve it!

Crispy Rice w.Salmon

Wowww. So good. Still thinking about the food two days later. The crispy rice with salmon was actually to die for. I will be back to try more rolls. The sushi was great. Edamame was great. The crab Rangoon's were very yummy. They have bottled beer among other alcoholic beverages. (Wine, sake, etc.) Happy hour specials during the week which I am dying to try.

3.5 but rounded up to 4 for friendly service. The spicy garlic edamame is fantastic, but the miso ramen left a lot to be desired. It was fine but lacking flavor and didn't have the option to add more veggies and stuff like other ramen places do. They have a pretty large sushi selection that looked good but we didn't try any.

I met a friend here for a late lunch. She suggested this restaurant, partly because her friend's daughter works here. (We saw her close to when we were leaving.) It's in a strip mall & you wouldn't notice it if you weren't looking for it. From the outside, it looks like nothing, but it's rather nice inside. Since it was 2:00, we were the only customers dining in, although I did notice quite a few carry out orders. I ordered the bento box with salmon, as I couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted, and this had a nice variety. My friend had the chicken hibachi. We also both got the salad & miso soup. The miso soup was very good -- lots of flavor and well-balanced. And the salad, while very simple, was delicious. You really can't beat that ginger dressing! The bento box was served on a lovely plate & came with a good sized piece of salmon, onions, and broccoli with a lovely light, slightly sweet sauce. There was a scoop of rice, 3 pieces of sushi and 2 dumplings (I don't remember what they're called). It was absolutely delicious! I loved every bite. My friend got the chicken hibachi. She also really enjoyed it. I'm not on this side of town too much anymore, but I would definitely go back.

Miso House Roll & Sumo Roll (deep fried)

My family always order the same dish because it never disappoints and it's always consistent. Service is good and the restaurant is always clean. Sushi is fresh and in my opinion, it's the best in town. You can't go wrong with Miso House Roll and during our most recent visit we order the Sumo Roll which was delicious. Both Traditional Ramen & Miso Ramen w/ pork belly are perfect for a cold winter evening.

Great sushi and ramen spot! There are a lot of choices and their service was top notch. Would love to come back to try more of their options. The food was high quality and can out fast. We will be back!

Philadelphia Roll

I have an avocado allergy, so buying sushi is often a challenge. Ordered two Philadelphia rolls from here along with another roll and some additional items, and both Philly rolls came with avocado instead of cucumber. Thankfully I caught it, but I ended up having to throw the order away. Will never order from here again, and encourage people with an allergy to look elsewhere because Miso is so careless.

Back when I was still working in Troy, I discovered this place because it was close to the office and I could order them through Doordash. They always had really good deals on their delivery site, so I figured I'd try them out. I came here today and finally sat down in the restaurant and I loved it. Let me tell you, I'm not a sushi connoisseur, but this sushi is really good! I've gotten a few different rolls from them and every time I loved it. The other thing, is they have fantastic lunch deals both via doordash and for dining in house. I was there during lunch hour anyway, and you can get 2 rolls and a bowl of soup for $11 and change. Or, you can get three rolls and soup for $14. How can anyone say no? Plus, the variety of rolls was really super good. I'm not going to list them all, so go check out their website. The Miso soup's always so good here too. That's usually my go to soup for most places that are Asian fare. My server was really good and even though hardly anyone was dining in, she took care of me. Having eaten at a few places around town, I'm willing to drive the 10 miles from home to get here. Why? Their on point with everything. Price and a REALLY good selection of food. I've had many dishes from here and it never disappoints. Thank you Miso for being here. I'm pleasantly surprised at how consistent you are, your price point and will be returning in the future.

Shrimp Tempura Roll

I came here with some friends for dinner after seeing the good reviews. I ordered the traditional ramen which came in tonkotsu broth, served with pork belly, fish cakes, seaweed, corn (instead of black fungus), and bamboo. I appreciate the accommodation without any extra charge like other places do. The broth had pretty good flavor, but it was quite salty. The noodles had a good texture and there was a generous serving of them. The pork belly was sliced very thinly, but tasted good. I also got a shrimp tempura roll. It was pretty small (5 pieces) for over $7. The taste was standard, nothing special. The presentation was very nice though. Service was pretty good: our server was polite and friendly, and offered drink refills. Overall this was a decent meal, but it wouldn't be a first choice for me.

I have been coming here for over 3 years now consistently. I always order something different to switch it up. Everything has been very good. Very good tasting, presentable food as well. Very polite service here as well, the staff remembers you and what your favorites are and are very friendly as well. Love miso

It's one of the best sushi spots I've been to in a while. It's such a cute place; the sushi is high quality, and the service was excellent. I truly cannot wait to come back and try more sushi options they offer. I'm so excited to share with others about this hidden gem. Needed to kill time and stopped here for a bite and a breather on a whim. It was slow but clean and the ambiance was nice. Loved that they had a veggie dumpling as an option since many places only have pork. Customer service was prompt and the food was great. I will definitely have to come back and try the sushi next time.

This is a cute cozy delicious little place. We came for lunch and it wasn't too crowded, got sat and then waited on immediately. We ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer and crab Rangoon. My companion is an expert at crab Rangoon. She ranked it 10 out of a 10 scale. The shrimp and vegetable tempura were also very tasty. I also had the traditional ramen with pork belly and it was very tasty. I almost emptied the bowl- and it was a healthy portion. My companion got California rolls and ended up taking some home! Great spot. No alcohol. Delicious food!

I had a pineapple suju, which I think was way cheaper at the grocery store, but that is okay, it went well with the meal. They have many things on their menu, and they give you an ipad to order, but not everything on the menu was on the ipad, so I ordered a couple things in person with the waitstaff and thus did not pay on the ipad (I image you are able to, but we needed a paper bill since a couple items were not included). I love the serve yourself bonchon, their items were so good. The kimchi was pretty sour, the fishcakes and kimchi pancakes were my favorite. I love the cucumbers, especially the one with sliced jalapeños. Those were so good. We got a couple sushi rolls, some black bean noodles, spicy pork, soy garlic popcorn chicken, ramen, and a chicken bao. The only thing I was not overly impressed with was the bao, it was just the popcorn chicken and not worth the price. But they rest, I felt the prices were great and the portions were big. They also had tea, which was nice. This is a great place and I look forward to visiting again soon.

And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.

I also LOVED the noodles; they had the best texture and length in the Metro-Detroit area. Total plot twist. The place was pretty quiet with only a few diners, so service was steady, though a little slow at times. We ordered the veggie noodles, cucumber salad, lamb skewers, xianbing pancake, and juicy pork dumplings. Overall, the food was decent and comfortably average, but honestly, we were just excited to finally find a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant nearby. The veggie noodles were the clear winner of the night: chewy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had us going back for bite after bite. I could've done without the bok choy, though, and I wish the noodles had been a little less oily. The cucumber salad leaned much sweeter than we expected and was swimming in a bit too much soy sauce for our taste. The pork dumplings were nice and juicy inside, but the wrappers were slightly too doughy. Now the lamb skewers? Absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portion size, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was the xianbing pancake. It didn't feel authentic at all. The crepe was way too thick, and the crispy crackers inside had lost all crunch and turned soggy instead. Still, the cozy vibe, solid noodles, and tasty skewers made it a worthwhile visit, especially if you're craving Szechuan flavors around Madison Heights.
