Been here many times, first time reviewing. this place has never been below 5/5. It hits the spot. all the time every time. I a sucker for spicy Chinese noodle soup. This place features the star dish of Yunnan which is a province in China: rice noodle. It is served in a variety of flavors from salty to not, rice to rice noodle, sour to salty, spicy to not, but always boiling hot (just the way I like it). Their takeout container is also very well-designed! Got a spicy beef noodle (not exact translation). it comes with a number of noodle toppings, boiling soup (read : NO MSG). Soup is the star. It is so flavorful, not overly salty. It really warms you up on a cold rainy day. I don't really care about the service and ambiance, both of which were not bad. It's the noodle soup that is the star. If it's your first time, recommend dining in and getting something spicy with beef.

This is a popular chain in China that specializes in rice noodle soup, the specialty dish of the Southern province of Yunnan, China. You basically pick your choice of broth which comes with either a meat or seafood, and several standard toppings that go into your broth. The broth is served boiling hot and is very flavorful. The only reason why not 5 stars is because the service was very disorganized. We walked in around 2pm and it was still quite busy. We waited maybe 15 mins before the server came to take our order and waited over an hour before we were served and watched others who got sat down after us get served before us. It was also about after 30 mins of waiting that we finally got water. I think it's owned by a small family with the mother and father in the kitchen and the daughter as the only server. Not sure if it was just that day we went but they should consider hiring outside help. Despite the slow service, would come again for the food and price.

Always a wonderful experience. You cannot go wrong with any soup base really. But if you can eat spicy, would highly recommend the spicy flavors. More rich and savory. Also love how fast and clean the restaurant is. Price is very reasonable as well!

Closes at 8pm tonight. Checkin and get a Coke, too bad I don't drink soda much. We ordered rice noodle soup with fish and pickled cabbage, needle mushrooms, spicy Sichuan rice noodle soup sour beef brisket chunks, cucumber in sauce, shredded potato salad too. Two additional needle mushrooms were added after I saw the too few from the add on. No bubble tea, they were out of bobas. Their watermelon aloe vera hand sanitizer smells like it could be edible. My rice noodle soup with fish and cabbage came with it all in. I just added the rice noodle to mine. I did get two more orders of the enoki or needle mushroom as the one add on was too few for me. The broth was decent. A few pieces of fish. I ate the fish with the black vinegar. The shredded potato salad was good, as was the cucumber. The spicy Sichuan rice noodle with brisket chunks came deconstructed. The 10 small dishes were all to be added to the soup as it was brought to our tables boiling. The brisket and noodles were added to the pot. It's a fun experience. $44.97.

I tried the hot and sour beef noodles. I ordered carry out so my experience is probably not the same as eating inside the restaurant. The sides came inside the broth already. I really like the rice noodle. The broth is also flavorful (although pretty spicy). It would me even more amazing if the noodles came with greens like chinese broccoli, napa, or bokchoy. Ordered using their online menu which was very simple and easy to use.

I drove by Ten Seconds Rice Noodle and was intrigued by the name and decided to try it out. I'm so glad I did! I didn't really know what to expect, but the server recommended some of their popular items. We ordered A6 (rice noodle soup with thinly sliced beef and tomatoes), A2 (signature rice noodle soup with thinly sliced beef), and B6 (green pepper soup with fish and rice noodles). A6 and A2 weren't spicy but really good. They both had lots of flavor and every bite was delicious. If you like spicy, I would recommend you try B6. It has peppercorn which has a numbing effect, but still really delicious. The noodles were fresh and tasted really good. I'm not too sure why it's called Ten Seconds Rice Noodle, because it took 10 minutes for our order...maybe it means you fall in love with the rice noodles within 10 seconds after you eat it? Who knows, but it was delicious and I have zero complaints. Our order took 10 minutes which is really quick. The to go containers were also really cool. It had a top portion for the noodles and the larger bottom portion had the soup. It's pretty genius, as it prevents the rice noodles from getting soggy while you drive home. This place is perfect for a cold winter day!

Been wanting to check this place out for so long! I'm definitely impressed. We ordered A1 and A12. Very little meat portion in the A1 though. The broths were bursting with flavors and such unique display. Presentation is on point! Dine in experience was fun! Clean interior! Will be back.

OMG. I've been looking for a place that had Chinese Rice Noodles, and this is by far the best experience I've had in Michigan. Once arriving, I was relieved to see that the place was filled with locals. I got the spicy/szechuan version of noodles along with fried chicken fingers, which was very savory and complemented the noodles. Each noodle menu came out with around 8 small dishes, which we all dump into the soup bowl. It was a nice experience to see what went inside, since we could each see and taste the sides both in and out of the soup. It is located on the diagonal side of H-mart, with ample parking in the front and back.

Great place! Food is super hot and fresh! So many great choices! They are helpful and friendly if your unsure on what to order! Try it out!

What a wonderful place to eat. I loved the Schezhauan Spicy Soup and the coconut milk tea. Derrick had the green pepper soup and the lemon yakult drink. They bring you a bowl of hot broth and fresh noodles with the veggies on the side. Then you add them to your soup. I am so full. I probably won't eat till late tonight. If you love soup, this is the place. We will return.

Today I found out not all noodle has 10 small dishes! Unfortunately... I order B5 rice noodle soup with tripe. They are not writing they have Kumuchi in a soup! Just mention. Because I was disappointed

I was very excited to try this place out after hearing about it. The concept of this restaurant is very simple; you order which broth you'd like and they will bring our all your small side dishes, noodles, and the broth comes out in a separate sizzling bowl to keep it hot. You put in all the sides and can literally eat it after ten seconds. The presentation and food tasted great. I had the green pepper with fish soup while my husband tried the kimchi with beef soup (and added a side of tripe)... both broth had a great kick of spice! We will be back soon.

一言不合上图片. So we three people cost $56 for three bowls of rice noodles. I think it may be the best rice noodles of Yunnan in Troy, Detroit. Will be back soon.

The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.

Both apps were enjoyable, but the steam buns could've used more pork. For our entrees, we ordered the almond boneless dunkers and the pork katsu. Both entrees came with rice, which had above average flavor and texture. The katsu was delicious, and is hands down the best dish I've had here. The dunkers were pretty sizable compared to other restaurants' ABC, but the gravy it came with had an unpleasant, metallic taste. Overall, New Age Noodles is a good restaurant. Total plot twist. The place was pretty quiet with only a few diners, so service was steady, though a little slow at times. We ordered the veggie noodles, cucumber salad, lamb skewers, xianbing pancake, and juicy pork dumplings. Overall, the food was decent and comfortably average, but honestly, we were just excited to finally find a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant nearby. The veggie noodles were the clear winner of the night: chewy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had us going back for bite after bite. I could've done without the bok choy, though, and I wish the noodles had been a little less oily. The cucumber salad leaned much sweeter than we expected and was swimming in a bit too much soy sauce for our taste. The pork dumplings were nice and juicy inside, but the wrappers were slightly too doughy. Now the lamb skewers? Absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portion size, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was the xianbing pancake. It didn't feel authentic at all. The crepe was way too thick, and the crispy crackers inside had lost all crunch and turned soggy instead. Still, the cozy vibe, solid noodles, and tasty skewers made it a worthwhile visit, especially if you're craving Szechuan flavors around Madison Heights.
