Very cool spot that makes you feel like you've stepped into a neighborhood pub in Korea. We really enjoyed the fried intestines and the honey fried chicken, although I personally don't love chicken that's chopped into random bone-in pieces. If you're like me, that's just something to keep in mind. I'm a big fan of slushy drinks, so the Peach Makgeolli, served in a carafe, was the highlight of my meal. It was refreshing and definitely something I'd order again. This is a no-tipping establishment, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area to try more items from the menu.

Yummmm!! Love coming to The Source when I'm in SoCal. There are a ton of cute Korean stores, restaurants and dessert spots. We decided to stop by for dinner on a Friday around 7 PM and it was pretty packed but glad that there wasn't a line. I like the Korean pub vibe that this place gives. I just ordered two items -Tasty Cheesy Popping Corn Pancake and the Sweet & Spicy Chicken. Both dishes were packed with flavor, and I couldn't stop eating. I liked how they made the cheese corn in the form of a pancake. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The total came out to $50, which is definitely on the pricier side, but there were leftovers. Great spot to hang out with friends and to watch a game since they have a ton of screens. Would definitely stop by again to try other items on their menu.

Misoolkwan is a fire Korean pub at The Source. This is a perfect spot to go to if you have the munchies or want to catch a game with the homies. They have a lively ambiance and a lot of seating available. The food here is always gas and hits the spot. All of the staff are super cool and welcoming. There is a reason why this spot has over 1,000+ positive reviews!

Located in a newer shopping center, this restaurant is already drawing quite the crowd. As of now, parking is free, which is a huge plus. They offer valet parking at the entrance, along with additional parking around the corner. Since this place gets very busy, I'd recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. This is a great spot for large groups and celebrations. The menu is designed for family-style dining, so you can order several dishes to share with everyone at the table, or you can order an individual entrée if that's more your style. Despite the packed dining room, the service was quick and attentive. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept everything running smoothly throughout our meal. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Combined with the lively atmosphere and efficient service, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become such a popular destination. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Army stew was my favorite

I cant eat here anymore after what i witnessed. Disgusting I had to leave.

Don't drink their water here...the tea water... leftover tea water gets poured into the trash can and rescooped into previously used pitchers.. basically they would pour the leftover water in the same bucket of water and rinse the pitcher in the same bucket of water and stack them up for resuse for next customer. And their hands go inside everything. They grab the rinsed pitcher, scoop the tea water and serve it. Also mind you, the tea water is inside those huge trash cans. AND when they were transferring the ice (from again those trash bins) they would lift it to pour all the ice in to the tea water bin and you can see all the dirty drippings from the outside wheels drip inside the container.. @.@ No its not a one time thing with one employee...they all knew the drill and did it like routine. Me and my friends watched the whole thing while we were just trying to enjoy some drinks at the bar. It was so disgusting, my friends wanted to pay and leave quickly but NO theres no way im paying for the drink i only had a couple sips of and couldn't finish. So i told the manager, didnt pay and left. He was not shocked ... wonder why. And now im just telling all my close friends not to go here... digusting.

I came on a Saturday night with a group of 9 at 7pm. We put our name down and walked around until our table was ready. We didn't wait too long, but by the time we were leaving around 9 there were a lot of people waiting. We were seated at the outside patio area and we had a beautiful view of the sunset. Our order was taken quickly and our drinks came out right away. We got the ice blended drinks with muscat (rice wine grape) and yogurt, both were REALLY good. These 2 were sharable and a good amount for 9 people. The food also came out quickly and everything came at the same time! My favorite is probably the stir fried pork belly, especially with the stir fried kimchi and garlic. I also really liked the rose tteokbokki. It was super creamy and had a nice kick to it. It came with rice cakes, fish cakes, 1 boiled egg, pieces of bacon, ramen noodles, and 1 sausage. In total our bill was around $350 for 9 people which is not bad for the quality of the food, quick service, and nice dinner view.

I came here on a Sunday right at 5 when it opened. It was easy to get a table for 6. We got the grilled pork belly, army stew, garlic fried chicken, and seafood pancake. The grilled pork belly was really good, and we even placed a second order! The rest of the food was good enough, as expected for Korean bar/drinking food. Service was okay. They had forgotten to give us the soju we ordered, so we had to ask for it. I enjoyed the casual vibes. It's a good spot to go to for casual Korean food and drinks. And you don't need to tip at this place! Although there is a 10% service fee or something like that.

I've been here a few times but recently had dinner here with my coworkers. It hits every time and is a perfect place to drink, yap, and grub! it can get really crowded so definitely try and get here earlier if you can: There's always plenty of things to do though since it's at The Source and there's so many shops and photobooths while you wait. The restaurant is pretty huge but it gets super loud! The screens are always playing kpop groups with music playing and its always fun to watch. For food, I've tried a lot of their menu and everything is so good and shareable. The korean fried chicken is crispy, not dry, and seasoned so well! A favorite amongst the group was the beef intestine, which I've never had before and was pretty impressed by. It was super juicy and paired well with the scallions and sauce. Another favorite of the group was the corn cheese. It was like a pizza but corn cheese. My absolute tried and true is the pork belly. It is soo good, especially with the kimchi, peppers, and roasted garlic cloves. It definitely is my personal favorite on their menu! I can definitely see why this place is so popular!

We came here on a Wednesday night and it was still surprisingly popping! I was craving something soupy and my boyfriend wanted fried chicken. I ordered the gopchang hot pot and my boyfriend got fried chicken. The portion sizes are generous and we struggled to finish everything, but everything was very delicious! The gopchang was cleaned very well; I've never had it in soup and usually prefer it grilled and crispy. I was very pleasantly surprised by it and really enjoyed the dish. The interior is a vibe and when it got later in the night, they dimmed the lights and started playing DPR Ian and Big Bang on the TV. Service was unfort a little slow and it took a while to get our food.

First of all, the food was amazing. We enjoyed it so much and we definitely couldn't stop ordering food. The service was great! They were friendly and very attentive. You do need to get their attention. Ecuador it DOES get busy. The ambiance in here is lively, honestly almost reminds me of a club sometimes but not in a bad way. It's for a good time, good food, good drinks. Why 4 stars not 5? Honestly it's pretty pricey but I think it's relatively worth it.

Love a Korean eating and soju spot. A bit crowded and loud for dining. I had: 1. Pork belly in a pan 2. Corn pancake 3. Fish cake soup 4. Fried chicken

Great spot for Korean pub vibes and late night drinks and eats. Must get the stir fried pork belly, galbijim (spicy braised beef ribs) and wings. Dishes were flavorful and hits the spot. The only issue I had was the service. We had a big party and our table was quite small for the amount of food we ordered. We tried to clear some space by moving the water and empty plates to an unoccupied table next to us. Our server was quite rude about it and told us to move everything back.

Quick, efficient, clean, yummy. Honestly couldn't have asked for more in a pub. Came on a Friday close to 11:30 PM and was sure there would be a wait for a party of 4, but nope! Thought we had lucked out but honestly, everyone working here is super efficient and vigilant. Ordered the stir fried pork belly, corn cheese pancake, and rose tteokbokki. Corn pancake was HUGE like a large pizza. Very thin but super gooey, actually couldn't get a grip on it with the tongs because it was falling apart. Ended up having a corn cheese pancake salad but it was still great. Rose tteokbokki was pretty weak in terms of flavor, friends that I came with agreed that the flavoring wasn't as strong as it usually was, and they're regulars here! Pork belly dish deserves its own paragraph. I mean... holy. The perfect mix of salt on the juicy, fatty (and generous!) pork belly slices, the slightly sweet and sour kimchi, and soft, roasted garlic. If you're getting one thing on the menu, let it be this! Had a muscat iced drink to share for the table, we subbed out maekgeolli for milk for a nonalcoholic option. They also offered yogurt as a substitute! Very strong on the muscat flavor and so refreshing. Overall, we were in and out in about 30 minutes. I didn't even see them pick up or give back the credit card, that's how fast they move. Will be back!

When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

After a fun day at Knott's Berry Farm, my wife and I decided to get dinner before hitting the road…read more The criteria were good eats, a varied beer selection, a decent atmosphere, and hopefully some novelty. Rock and Brews exceeded each category and came in clutch with some bonuses! First, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I had tacos, which were discounted for Taco Tuesday and allowed for a mix-and-match of chicken, beef, or pork. My wife had the Mediterranean salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a pretzel that was mega yummy. Second, beer! Lots of great choices, and if you prefer a mixed spirit, well, you're in luck, because they have plenty of those too. Third, vibes! Vibes like Cal Tjader came back to life. The place is decked out like your coolest friend won the lottery and created the perfect spot for all of his Rock & Roll lovin' homies to hang and chill. It is hard to pull off this level of focus without being a complete visual disaster or downright tawdry. Luckily for them, the designer understood the assignment. Well done, designer. You deserve a raise. Now, obviously, I'm a fan. One visit. That's all it took. But even after all of that goodness, there is one thing I must share, because it made a good experience a great one, and that thing is not even a thing; it was Matthew! Brother, thank you for being so kind and attentive. You are very talented, and without question, the quality of our experience is directly linked to your professionalism. I get the impression that no matter where you go, or what you do, the Force is always strong with you. Let's give Matt a raise too! And make him manager when you open the San Diego location.

Grew up and live in Buena Park and I've only been here 3 times. That's gotta change. The burgers…read morewere pretty. They were tasty, too, but I can always appreciate a good looking burger that doesn't fall over after they place it on the table. I had the super spicy one and it kicked my bum. I can't hang like the old days. Very fun eating experience though, and I was able to finish every single scoville. Waiter was helpful with customizing (bread swap). French fries were fine. Will be back, even if it's just to get a bottle of their hot sauce . Only real gripe is that this place looks and feels like a sports bar/restaurant, it has over a dozen TVs... But the same thing was on ALL the TVs ! I understand the music theme is central appeal, but at least have different (variety) music videos on if you're gonna have 30 TVs in your restaurant. Make it interesting

Sojuya has a special place in my heart for all of the times I spent here with friends. Walking in…read moreyou're greeted with dining area filled with lively booths, and music playing just loud enough to drown out the conversations nearby. There are plenty of TVs and neon soju signs around, really leaning into the izakaya look for the yakitori. Speaking on the yakitori, the options are varied enough that there's possibility for multiple rounds without feeling too repetitive. Some of my favs are the garlic, and the spicy sausage, spicy pork belly, and bacon wrapped scallop. It's nice to order some of these to snack on throughout the night while you eat the complimentary popcorn alongside it. When it comes to the food itself, one guaranteed item to get ordered are the tater tots, they are always cooked to perfection and the spicy mayo along it just brings it together. Some of the other stuff that is fire chicken with cheese, spicy squid with pork belly, or just anything friend. The beer/soju selection is good, and the service is even better. Really appreciate how attentive they can be, especially the more seasoned servers that have been seeing my friends and I come here for years. This place is super fun and delicious if you're in the area, please try it out.

The portions are great and food comes out pretty quickly. The only downsides are it can get pretty loud because of the music videos & sports games playing at the same time so it gets hard to chat with friends. The water they give you are the size of shot glasses too, so make sure to bring your Owala lol Overall really yummy food, upbeat vibes, and open late!
