Wow! We needed a restaurant like this in MI! Was very excited to eat here as I'm a big Xian food fan. The chili oil noodles were garlicky and savory. The Liang Pi was SO good. Perfect for the summer, perfect chili oil flavor, balanced with garlic and vinegar. Roujiamo was one of the best ones I've had. Flavorful lamb - cumin and spicy. Bread in lamb soup was also delicious. It's an order - at - kiosk and seat yourself type of place. Food comes out via robot. Kinda fun! We got here at 4:50 pm on a Saturday and didn't get our food until 6;00! Then they got confused almost gave out food to someone else! I had to flag down the waiter to let him know it was our food that he was trying to pass on to several tables who can much later than us. The biggest issue wasn't just the wait, it was how orders were being handled. With only a couple of people working, having DoorDash and Uber Eats running at the same time seemed to overwhelm the team. Orders were clearly backing up, and it slowed down service for customers who were physically there. There also didn't seem to be a clear first come, first serve approach. We watched people who arrived after us receive the exact same dishes we ordered, which added another 30+ minutes to our wait. The food itself was ok for those of us who had the chili oil noodles, but the other food like the hot and sour noodles were bland and the service experience made it difficult to enjoy. there were things that they are missing from the menu that some people were able to order and others we're not able to. Not sure what happened there. Portions were really quite small in real life m. Waiting over an hour after driving 1.25 hours to get here was not great. The furniture was a mess, chairs and tables all over. Chaotic energy and confused workers. The one working next to the kiosk for orders was nice. Also the kiosk didn't match the menu so ordering didn't work consistently. Based on the food alone, I would have come back - maybe. But because of the service, I won't. This all came about because of an Instagram review which made the restaurant seem so much better than it was. We got here right when they opened (12 p.m.). In fact, I'm still sitting in the restaurant as I type this. It's now 12:53 p.m. and we haven't gotten our full order yet. 3 groups who came AFTER us have all been served. I'm watching them wrap up their meal. It's really sad when a place that supposedly has good food does not have the organizational skills required to run a restaurant. A few things they should take note of if they want to survive: - Don't have Doordash/Uber eats active when you only have two people in the store. You're getting inundated with orders and can't keep track of them which is slowing you down and preventing you from serving the customers who are physically here - follow first come, first serve I watched people who came 10 minutes after us get served the exact dishes we ordered causing us to be here 30+ minutes longer - Serve customers equally We watched you delivered drinks to a table for one group almost right after you pointed to our drinks on the counter making me go and grab them. All in all, the food was good but the service or lack thereof really kills it. Because while the food might be good, it's not wait an hour and feel disrespected the entire time good. Always happy to find a place that serves authentic Chinese food! The Liangpi seems and tastes simple at first, but gets more addictive with each bite. The cucumber salad is garlicky, flavorful, and refreshing. The jasmine milk tea is a bit on the sweeter side, but asking for less sugar made it perfect for me. The owner is very friendly -- on my second visit he gave me a mango smoothie with popping boba on the house! Went in to try this place for lunch. Immediately greeted and menu thoroughly explained. You order at the counter or on a touch screen menu. Menu on wall with one printed menu to share for restaurant. Milk tea and boba drinks. Food was delivered piping hot to our table. A friend and I both tried the chili oil splashed noodles and added in some chicken for protein. Was a good spice level and was very tasty. Great amount of garlic. My friend ordered hers less spicy and she also enjoyed. A little bit small on the portion but was good price. Another friend in our party ordered the Golden Broth Beef Vermicelli which looked good and was steaming hot! Fast casual style vibe but seats were comfy and we sat and talked for a while. This is one of the best noodle places I've tried in a very long time. The noodles and dumplings are handmade and you can definitely taste the difference from other restaurants. The boba is super good too, I think I actually prefer it over Quickly. The owner is super nice too. We tried the Beijing Jjajang Noodles, Chili oil Noodles, and soup dumplings. I also liked that it had a coffee shop atmosphere that made it feel nice and cozy for dine in. We were confused at first because we had tried it when it was only a boba place when it first opened and didn't realize they added a full food menu and not just snack items. We went on a Friday night and had great service. I'm glad we tried it, and we'll definitely be going back! read more

Wonderful experience. Tried some very authentic and unique items from Xi'an. Loved the date cake. Came warm, fresh and not too sweet. First time trying the lamb soup and it tasted amazing! I came excited to try their clay pots but was sadly disappointed because it is wayyy too much spicy oil. The broth is utterly not drinkable. It came with literally two small pork ribs that were bathed in chili oil. The majority of it was rice noodle, again in hot chili oil that was unpleasant. I tried to spoon some of the chili oil out (spiciness was good but too oily) but there was just more and more under. I might try their other dishes next time but would not get this again. This would have been a 1 star but the service was decent and the workers there were nice. read more

I went there today for the 2nd time. I should come more often because I was reminded of the great food is! My sister and I used their electronic kiosk and ordered the spicy potatoes bun, the rougamo sandwich and the cold noodle dish that comes with 3 sauce cups. The Rougamo is filled with stewed pork. It had pieces of pork skin in it. I loved the textures. The potatoes bun was crunchy to bite through. It had slices of potatoes, ham and lettuce drizzled with spicy oil. I'm a huge fan of pepper oil bc it adds so much flavor. And the noodles... yum! I believe they're home made because each strands were not perfectly equal in size. They were fresh, soft and chewy. This dish altogether is very light with the cucumbers, gluten bites topped with the sauces that bring this dish uniquely together. I have only had this dish in Toronto so I am very happy theirs is very good. Don't expect typical Americanized Chinese food here. Be bold, explore and appreciate this business! 2.5 stars. My husband's Jjajangmyeon had 1-2 tablespoons of sauce for the entire dish and my Xi'an Clay Pot chicken was disappointing. The chicken pot was filled with tofu skin and minimal pieces of chicken, the lacked flavor and richness. We got takeout so unclear if the dine in experience is better. Our family went here for dinner and the food was delicious and authentic Xian Chinese food, the owner was extremely nice and friendly to us and gave us some free boba tea and spicy chicken! I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to friends and family, and I want to try the frozen smoothies next time! read more
