I will be honest, the cupcakes were not my favorite, but maybe I didn't try the right flavors. They honestly tasted like they came from a store mix and store bought frosting I liked that they have a special cupcake of the day. Sophia told me the ones they had for the special were -s'mores And -blackberry pie I didn't try these, but they looked beautiful. They were nicely set up with their fall decorations They have a lot of flavors. They have regular size cupcakes And they have MINI cupcakes I will say, they were moist so that's a plus. Very nice little bakery shop, the ladies have quite a variety of cupcakes to choose from. Starting from $2.25-$3.50. I chose the coffee cake and the cookie/brownie combination. What I was disappointed with is that you would allow me to select the coffee cake I wanted even though I should be able to choose if I am paying for it. I was told that the coffee cake has to stay balanced and I couldn't pick the slice from the bottom. And you put both items in the same container. I have been coming here since my first day at LBCC, Circa 2010. I've had cupcakes from all over, nothing compares. I drive from OC to get these for every occasion. It's been 16 years and it's the same exact taste. Not only are the frostings great but the cakes are as well. That's what makes them so amazing. I really want to love this place. I have been in about 3 times in as many years and each time it's always felt like I am bothering whoever is working behind the counter. It's never even the same person who seems distracted, bothered or annoyed at my simple order and it was also the owner once. Not sure what that is about. Go in for a dozen mini cupcakes to go! We have been going to Miss Priss for years, less frequently as we are not traveling as much. They recently moved a couple doors down, I'm guessing it gave them more room in the back for baking. I did not feel the homey feeling that the previous site had with the squeaky wooden door, like at grannies house. I also felt there was a lot of unused space of the new location. Perhaps, they are not finished decorating. Regardless, you are there for the cupcakes after all. We always loved their flavor options, their iridescent buttercream, and how you could purchase minis to experiment. A dozen mini's will cost you $18. I have always loved the citrus selection of orange, lemon and lime. This time it was National Chocolate Cupcake Day so had to have chocolate in the mix. The reason I am giving Miss Press four versus five stars on this visit as these were always the most moist cupcakes anywhere, it was one reason we loved them, but on this Friday am this was not the case. The pretty irridescent toppings were nowhere in site either. But the cute toppings they do are always a delight, mini cookies, a slice of orange candy, etc. I guess we have always been keen on consistency and maybe some things were not in full operation with the new move. This is one of my mother-in-law's favorite bakeries. She lives in South Orange County and often makes the drive out whenever she hosts parties and wants to have cupcakes available. I've tried a number of cupcakes (via MIL's parties) and they are all so good: moist, sweet, fresh, delicate.... Let me preface this by saying that Susie was very nice and professional, however, my son's birthday party was almost ruined but they managed to pull it off. I had ordered a simple, basic 4 color scheme and showed up the day of the party and was given something entirely different. I'm not just taking colours, I'm talking different planets. But Susie had them remade and I was able to pick them up later that day, maybe I'm being unreasonable but I had already made a schedule for that day and was pretty busy and this was a major inconvenience come back here.
