The best cupcakes in Long Beach! I have adored Miss Priss for years, as this shop has such a cozy atmosphere when you walk in. Their service is always friendly and welcoming. I always come back for their Red velvet cupcakes, theirs is nothing like the others. They have pioneered a different way to cupcakes that are not heavy, but fluffy, light, and rich in flavor. If you're looking for a pick up me sweet treat .. this is the place. I always buy them for my friends and family and they are always gone as soon as I open the box. Love it here, always !

Miss Priss is the only bakery that I could find that made a key lime cake. My grandmother LOVED the cake that Miss Priss made for her 75th bday. Customer service is always good here and I love the location. Very easy to find and free parking. I'll be in this weekend to get cupcakes for my moms bday.

Super cute place with a variety of cupcakes! My family and I were craving an afternoon treat. Found this place on Yelp and were very impressed! We were immediately greeted by a very nice young lady working there. She told us about all of the desserts and even recommended a few. Here is our review of everything we got! The Opposite: 7.5/10. classic, nothing special. Death by Chocolate: 9/10. Loved it! Chocolate Mint: 9/10. Delicious! Like a thin mint as a cupcake. Big Peanut Butter cookie: 10/10. Sweet, salty, and perfectly paired with melted chocolate on top! Best pb cookie I've tried! We would definitely come back. They also offer mini options for most of the cupcakes if you prefer bite-sized treats. If you are wanting to fulfill your sugar cravings, don't hesitate to stop by here!!

This place has been in business for years, yet I just heard about it recently. Excellent quality. Very fresh. Creative flavors. I went when thrybfirst opened at 11am, alreadyba libe. Speaks for itself! Very friendly and helpful people working. Thete must have been about 25 or more flavors in the case, all beautifully decorated. I was glad there was a line so I could decide which ones to try. I bought 12 cupcakes, all different flavors for my husband's work, and 4 for us to try at home. Cupcakes for home were Key Lime, Vanilla Cookies & Cream, Red Velvet, and Mint Chocolate. Very yummy! Frosting and cake very fresh. My husband's co-workers also loved the cupcakes. Definitely will be navk again! Parking is on the street. Plenty of spots butball about timing. Many restaurants so I would suggest in between lunch and dinner hours.

OMGEEE!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Miss Priss' Cupcakes! They have an extensive variety and the prices are decent! They make for great gifts too! I just bought a dozen of their bittles which is perfect, if you want to try different flavors to find your faves! My lady who helped me was nice and patient with me as I was making my selections. So far my favorites were the PB&J, Toffee, Death by Chocolate, & Lemon. I can't wait to try some of their specialties! The strawberry champagne, raspberry pistachio, churro and banana pineapple colada are on my next batch to get! The cupcake shop is also super cute!

I've been going here since 2017 and it has been my favorite cupcake spot since! This is definitely a gem here in Long Beach. It's a small business and the owner is so sweet. Every time I come in they are so welcoming and helpful. It's a small storefront but that's typical for cupcakes shops. My hands downs favorite flavors here are the Oreo and red velvet! My favorite flavor cupcake is red velvet and they just do it the best! It's very moist and the buttercream frosting is perfection! I definitely recommend this place if you are in the Long Beach area and is craving a sweet treat! Btw, the shop is on norse way so parking can be limited depending on the hours and days you go.

Miss Priss knows cupcakes! They offer creative flavors, regular and mini size cupcakes. Cupcakes are well balanced, moist, soft, fluffy great texture. Icing not too sweet. Staff is warm and friendly. My heart always feels good when I leave this place. Cakes and other items for a party dessert table can be ordered. They are open to brainstorming and customizing for your decorative needs. Free diagonal street parking. I have never found a problem finding a space. This is a local gem!

I love this place, I've been coming here off and on for about 13+ years now and they still taste the same as when I first had it

What a lovely bakeshop in Lakewood! It is our first time here. We just parked near the area to walk towards the massage place. My daughter and I could not resist the lovely and wonderful displays! There are a variety of cupcakes but since our favorite is Red Velvet. That is what we ordered and it did not disappoint at all. Super moist and flavorful, just the way I like it! When we entered, we were immediately greeted with a smile. And that is Ms. Priss' mom! We've learmed that this business is a partnership (mother and daughter). One would notice that the cupcakes here are made with love and care- the attention to details is impeccable. Would definitely come back! Delicious cupcakes and great customer service!

I asked friends for recommendations on where to get some cupcakes for a birthday party. Everyone said Miss Priss. I went to the bakery to see what they had and the person helping me was really nice and helpful. I ordered one dozen German chocolate and Red Velvet plus a dozen mini cupcakes in assorted flavors. The number of folks attending grew so I ordered another dozen. Everything was a huge hit at the party especially with the 95year birthday person!

Are you no longer doing custom smash cakes? Came in to order one for my sons birthday and was told by the lady working that you didn't do confetti type cakes and when I asked about having special colors was told you only could do the sprinkles

Bakery Review - solid pastries and coffee, but one pastry I had previously and recalled being a stand out, was not great the next time I got it, so what seems like it should be consistently good is perhaps not. Restaurant Review - very fussy table policy...there were at least 6 tables open and they wouldn't seat 2 out of 3 of our party until all of us were there. I get it if you're busy/have a waitlist, but to make us stand there while the table we eventually had sat empty the entire time we waited was a little annoying. Then, at the end of our meal, they told us our time at the table had expired. Really? In terms of the food, it was fine, nothing to write home about. It was more the service that was so off putting. The coffee was cold when served. At the end of the meal our server asked if we wanted desert, and when we asked for a desert menu he just said "Oh, you need to just go inside and look." It could have been worded more appropriately to say something like "We have great pastries and treats inside if you have room for desert" rather than "Would you like desert?", which leads to a dead end since he didn't offer any. And after reading other reviews, I wonder if we would have been allowed to eat those pastries at the table anyway? I'm in the area frequently, but will try other places going forward after these last couple of disappointing visits.

The decor is cozy and chic, and I like that they kept it spacious instead of cramming a ton of tables and chairs in. I especially loved the little table lamps! Our server was very nice and helpful when we had questions. Caesar salad: I LOVED this. Perfect balance of flavors with perfect crunch. Word of warning is that it is anchovy heavy (including anchovy filets on top), so if you like to pretend the anchovy aspect of Caesar salads doesn't exist, this might not be for you! Roasted chicken: Loved the crunch on this too, and the salad and polenta were nice additions. I think the polenta was my favorite part of this dish lol. Kale pistou pizza (asked for no onions): My least favorite dish. We didn't realize it was vegan but as someone who generally likes vegan food, it just lacked flavor and felt very dry overall. The sourdough crust was good, at least. Peach mess dessert: Omg, the star of the show! Such an amazing dessert top to bottom, I loved the mix of textures and flavors. I could eat this every day! I probably would've given this 4 stars due to the pizza being that bland, but the dessert really elevated this whole meal. Can't wait to see all their different menus throughout the seasons! I hope they add a happy hour soon and I hope to see the return of their patio at some point!

Dusted with Swiss pearl sugar. Just really yummy. Saw the almond croissant. Said oh will stop again on our way out. BIG mistake. Of course they were gone by then. Opted for the sticky toffee bun. She recommended warming before eating. What a nice little treat to share with my husband after dinner! Back to the cafe. Newly added as an adjoining space was vacated next to the bakery. Industrial modern interior. Spacious with 20(?) tables. Partners opted for the 2 egg breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly as ordered. One ordered an omelet. Beautifully made. Would make Jacques Pepin or Thomas Keller proud. Thick sliced bacon. Thick sliced multigrain toast. Small side of spring mix salad adorned with watermelon radish. Very nice entree if you're an egg lover. Shared the French fries. They're like the ones my grandma made. Thick sliced potatoes deep fried. Crispy outside. Soft inside. Brings back pleasant memories. Get these if you're a French fry fan. The mushroom dip (think French dip with variety of sautéed mushroom in lieu of beef) was GREAT! Mushroom not overcooked, Muenster cheese draped atop. Crusty baguette bread. Although the dipping sauce was vegan based, the roasted mushroom base added enough umami for a deeply flavored dip. My only complaint was the clusters of oyster mushrooms were laid horizontally following the length of baguette. Which presents well but was a bit challenging to bite through. I dunno, maybe my teeth aren't sharp. Overall an outstanding dish. So my dilemma now is when to return to try the other menu items which didn't make my first cut. Parking is....well ya know...it's 2nd St. So the driver needs to be a good parallel parker. Cute shoes optional but be prepared to walk.
