It's quite sweet, which I normally don't like and avoid. Here, however, I did enjoy the drink, though I'm not sure what the difference is between a flat plastic sealed cover and the round dome cover. Literally a small place to grab your boba and go. There is a small table and bench but not really an area to study. As far as their drinks go, love their milk tea and pudding. Their egg pudding is so soft and melts in your mouth. And their milk tea is sweet enough where it's a treat to drink. And what I love about this place is that it's buy one get one free! And I'm eagerly contributing to it. Upon entering, you'll find a main menu posted near the cashier. But don't neglect all of the other handwritten papers posted by its side. Those include new items that were not originally printed on the main menu. Very scrappy, I know, but I don't blame them -- it's one way to keep costs low (and offer that generous BOGO deal)! I ordered the Red Bean Milk Tea and Strawberry Guava Green Tea with Mango Jelly -- both large. This came out to be just under $5 for both drinks. Again, amazing value you won't get elsewhere! Both drinks were delicious. I don't want to say I was surprised, but I was. I usually order light ice with my drinks but didn't do so this time (my first time) to see how much they would include normally. I really appreciate that they don't overwhelm the drinks with ice. Service was friendly, and the drinks came out quickly. It's not really a sit down place, so don't come expecting to sip tea and get work done. I purchased a large Blended Milk with black sugar, boba, and pudding. I don't normally like this drink as it can be pretty sweet. But from this place, it's not too bad. I admit that their price had me anticipating something mediocre but I'm honestly astounded at how soft and chewy their honey boba is. So glad we did! First and foremost, Miss Tea has a BOGO deal on ALL drinks in their store! My brother ordered a large Thai tea smoothie with lychee and rainbow jelly, and I went with a mango smoothie with egg pudding and rainbow jelly since it was one of their popular drinks. The total came out just over $5, which is a steal for two large-sized drinks! The mango smoothie was so refreshing and tasted great! The pudding had a great taste and the jelly was also satisfying. The one thing I do wish they did differently is to add a little bit more egg pudding like other places I've been to but besides that, I have no complaints! The boba was pretty good - fresh & chewy. There is option for customization - less sugar, no toppings etc. They wrote the name of our order on the cup seal so that we could differentiate our orders, which was a plus. Staff was pretty quick and efficient with our order. We were in and out within 10 minutes. Improvement area: Cheese Foam was not on par with the Tan-Chas and White&Browns of the world. Typically, you are supposed to be able to sip the cheese foam, but this is sealed the same way as a milk tea boba. Loyalty program: You get a stamp for every drink you pay for. TL;DR: Drinks itself are ok. Workers are incompetent and will give you a headache. I've been coming here for years with my family. I was never too big of a fan, but it's the cheapest and closest boba store so I go if I'm looking for a cheap fix to satisfy my boba craving. The drinks have always tasted a little bit watered down, but the price isn't too bad and it's bogo so it's fine. Their boba is nice and chewy as well. Could be a bit sweeter. However, their current workers put me off. They were friendly and nice, but they do not know what to do in certain situations. I ordered 4 drinks, all large with boba. My order wasn't read back to me nor my price. I just gave my card. This situation was my fault as well because I should have double checked the total before signing, but I didn't. I just signed and thought everything is fine. Nope. They overcharged me. It was supposed to be BOGO but I paid for all four drinks. I was charged 23.78. They told me about this and I shrugged it off at first. It was the first time that happened in the 3 years I've been going to Miss Tea, but things happen. As long as they know how to fix it, it would be fine. Here's the problem: none of the workers knew how to fix it. Three people behind the counter all scrambling and asking each other what to do. One of them even made a joke to the cashier telling them that they should get fired for this. Then, the cashier came up with the solution to just give the overcharge in cash so she gave me 11.63 in cash. I thought everything was fine then, but then someone brought up that I still technically paid 23.78 which would mess up the numbers in the system so they told me to write my number down and they'll call me to come back to return the cash. I was really confused, but obliged anyways. Now I thought everything was ok. Nope. The cashier then refunded the charge on my card and told me to give the cash they just gave me back since she reversed the payment. I was confused because she was the one who had the idea to give me cash in the first place. I asked her why and she told me that my money should be returned to my card and I should be charged the correct amount now. I used my cashapp card and I wasn't sure if that would work. I checked my app and the money wasn't there. The cashier then told me I should have my money back in 3 days. Ok? I basically wasted 30 minutes listening to to them tell me this and that to fix the situation and none of it made much sense. I just want to drink my boba at that point. My drinks were done so I just grabbed them. One of the workers apologized and offered to give them their number just in case I didn't get the money back which was nice so that's some light to the situation I guess? I hope Miss Tea properly trains their workers to be more professional and how to handle situations like these in the future. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should at least have someone on shift who knows how to handle rare situations like this. I'm surprised they don't have anything in their system that automatically applies the bogo since they've been doing bogo forever. That could help prevent overcharging people in the future. For now, please have them read your order and total back unless you want to leave with a headache. :') read more
