I have been getting my nails done my whole life religiously every three weeks, at other salons I would experience Nails breaking, lifting and polish chipping. at Beau Den spa I no longer experience any of those things and my Nails last even longer. I extremely appreciate the cleanliness of the products used here and of the Salon. The tools are all brand new, products are non-toxic, and organic. I've never had any kind of skin irritation here which I have at other places. If you value the health and quality of your Nails, then this is the place for you. They genuinely care about the result.. Did I mention the nails are always fire too. I received a gel manicure from Hanna with one hand nails bubbling up. I came back and Kimmy fixed it. While I was on a time crunch since I had a vacation to go to I appreciated her fixing it. The next day the other hand done by Hanna the entire gel polish came off of one nail with another finger happening thereafter. I came back from vacation, again I was annoyed but really wanted to give the salon a second chance because accidents happen but ... I came back and Kimmy had a new nail lady named Mandy fix my nails. Kimmy was going to fixed the nails originally but she moved Mandy to me because the other client complained. I had to correct Mandy multiple times at the end, you could tell the tip of my nails were messed up. I flagged it to Kimmy and she told me to come back at 6. I had been there for 3 hours ?! She asked me what I wanted to do and I told her to just give me a refund. She gave me $50. I think if you have Kimmy or one of her veteran nail techs do your nails you should be okay but she has a few nail techs that you can tell aren't that great. Kimmy should prequalify them and not put customers through this?! One of the other nail employees told me I was the 6th person that had come in with their gel coming off. I've done my nails for 20 years and this has never happen?!

The staff was very nice and my appointment started right on time. 9:30am on a Friday; I was the only one for the first 30 minutes. The ambience was relaxing. Everything was great until the nail tech cut me pretty bad. My finger still hurt and was sensitive 3 days after my visit. The thing that really disappointed me was my manicure didn't even last 2 days and was already chipping. I usually expect this a week after a manicure but 2 days later?! I also couldn't help but notice that their prices were better than what I had been paying at my previous (more pricey) place, and I ain't mad at it. However, I will admit that I did come in when I had a Gel-X tip split from another salon and they helped me with a new nail and tried to match the color as much as possible. The pedicures, mainly gel ones LAST 3+ weeks. It's probably their top and base because I've brought in my own gel (LeChat) and the results were the same. (I do avoid using DND/Daisy since I'm not a fan of them.) They also cut my nails as short as I request them to and VERY SHORT. Massages sometimes can be hit or miss since I need a firm, deep tissue. But I will say the consistency of having pedicures that can last forever is great! Don't change Kevin and Team! My only cons are that they don't do Russian/dry manicures as a normal mani treatment. Prices are a little high, but that's typical Diablo Valley prices. Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda are around 10-15% cheaper.

Today I went in for my second visit to get a fill. I called ahead of time to see if they had room for walk in. They said yes! I requested the same person who did my nails initially. When I walked in I immediately felt that she was rushing through the service. My cuticles weren't fixed, no extra services, everything felt so rushed.. I paid $82 for just nails and polish. I got injured when she was filing my nails because she over filed and the side of my nail on my middle finger and it separated from the skin. It hurts so bad. To top it off, the nail technician asked whether I was coming from work and when I said no she said well why didn't you make an appointment. I apologized and she said next time make an appointment it's better. I paid, tipped well and didn't say anything else but I feel conflicted. My finger hurts and I am not sure how they're justifying the prices without having great customer service or giving you the basic services of a manicure.
