I want to share my very bad experience with Mr Sorab Wardak (Owner of Mission Auto Repair shop). I wanted to get body work for my vehicle. Sorab provided me estimate of labor + parts of $2250 and asked for deposit of $2000. I zelle the money and left the vehicle at their store on 19 June. I was told that vehicle will be ready by 26 June. I called many time but no answer. By using my car GPS, I located that my vehicle was parked at another body shop "Express Collison". When I contacted this shop owner, I was told that Soarb left the car. I wanted to cancel the the work because this was breach of trust and Sorab did not any anything we agreed. I asked Sorab to return my car and my deposit money. After lot fo struggle he returned the car but not full money. He returned me $1000 after lot of back and forth. He is promising to return remaining another $1000 but for last three weeks I have made over 90 calls without any success. I am still trusting that Sorab Wardak will honor his commitment and return my money. I want other potential customers to be careful about dealing with this store because of potential fraud which might happen to them. read more

Would definitely not recommend this spot to anyone. Has terrible communication, and lied about updates. Each week it was "it's going to need a few more days" I couldn't keep waiting so I went over to check on it. Turns out they sent it to a whole different shop, and the car was UNTOUCHED. 1 month for my car to not even be worked on is crazy but lying with updates is crazier. My car was rushed and worked on in 5 days. Sorab also did say that he was going to order me certain parts that was needed. 2 weeks went on with no communication so I chose to get money reimbursed instead. I had a great experience with Mission Auto Repair. After my Honda Civic was damaged from hitting road debris on the highway, Rahim and team quickly diagnosed the issues, clearly explained what needed to be repaired, and walked me through the estimate without any pressure. What I appreciated most was their honesty. They actually recommended that I not go through insurance because, given my deductible and the repair cost, it didn't make financial sense. They also took the time to answer all of my questions, explained the repairs in detail, and even adjusted the invoice when they realized they had accidentally included the oil change after telling me it would be complimentary. The pricing felt fair, communication was great throughout the process, and they made the whole experience much less stressful than I expected. They also took the time to look at a couple of other repair questions I had for my Tesla and some cosmetic scratches on my Civic without any pressure. This rating is long overdue... If I had to quickly sum up my experiences here, I'd say that Sorab and his team exceeds any expectations of an auto shop. I have now been here on TWO separate occasions and both times, I left feeling taken care of and I am thankful to have found our new go-to mechanic. We first came to Mission Auto Repair after our van was having electrical issues. I got the error message on the screen and initially took it to Toyota to run a diagnostics and get a quote. They quoted us over $3,200 and charged us $500 to run the simple diagnostic. They also informed us that they found rodent droppings (but no rodents). After we received this ridiculous quote, we called a few mechanics to see what they could offer. Some of the mechanics we called had no idea what the parts/repairs that Toyota had listed were. This left us uneasy, but finally we called Mission Auto Repair after a recommendation from a family member; he used to frequent Mission Auto Repair for many years. Unknowingly, Mission Auto Repair had changed owners, but after talking to Sorab, he seemed knowledgable, so we took our chances. After dropping off our van, he called us and informed us that we had a family of rats living under our hood! This blew our mind considering we drove the van often and it is fairly new. Nevertheless, he assured us that he would get rid of them before working on our van. He baited them with pizza and traps and eventually got rid of them. Everything else was smooth sailing. Unlike other mechanics, he worked on our van in a timely manner and completed the work in the quoted time. The best part? He charged us a little more than half of what Toyota quoted and was able to find the family of rats (unlike Toyota). He was also kind enough to not charge excessively for all the labor he and his team had put in, to remove parts and check all the electrical components, wrap extra electrical tape on wires, and went about and beyond to make sure nothing else was destroyed by the rodents. On our second visit, we had to get our van towed because our van suddenly wouldn't start even though we just drove it less than an hour ago. Sorab took me in immediately and ran another diagnostic. Turns out the battery had somehow died. He called me to come over to drive it around and check it out for myself to see if I notice anything was off. Everything seemed ok so I thanked him and asked him what we owe for the trouble. His response? "You don't owe me anything!" We were so shocked by his kindness and generous business ethics: he truly cares about his customers and wants to create a relationship that makes them want to come back. On top of all this, he helped do an oil change and fill up all my fluids in my other car while I was waiting for our van. Sorab is truly a knowledgeable, generous, and stand-up guy and we are so glad that we have re-found Mission Auto Repair. read more

I have come to Mission Auto Repair twice in 2 years, and each time I'm met with transparent pricing, excellent service and communication. The first time, I was going to change my brakes due to a possible mistake that occurred during an in-house job. They took apart my tires and then called me saying the brakes are brand new, the hardware looked brand new, and they did not think I needed to change the brakes. They did not charge me ANYTHING for their time or labor taking off the brakes. Second time, I needed a brake fluid flush and alternator belt replacement. The quote they gave me over the phone was 1/3 of what Toyota quoted me the day before, and they finished the work before the end of the day. I feel comfortable calling Mission Auto Repair for quotes and questions, and would definitely recommend them. They know their stuff, have amazing attitudes and will help you get the bang for your buck. read more

My tire got punctured with a nail on the freeway and I had to put in the replacement tire. Mission Auto Repair was a couple minutes from my house so I went to them to get it fixed. Super friendly and welcoming workers with a nice little waiting area. $25 and 15 minutes later, my tire was fixed and I was back on the road. Fast, cheap and good customer service. I have had two major repairs here: all four brakes done on my Honda CR-V and vacuum leak error diagnosed and repaired in my Kia Forte--both fixed on the same day!
