These guys don't listen to what you ask for especially the balding guy with the patchy looking beard, I asked for ceramic on my FRONT 2 doors and a 50% tint on the FRONT Windshield, I confirmed with the guy a total of 3 times before I paid and he agreed and said ok, I go to pick up my car and my FRONT WINDSHIELD has a 20% CERAMIC TINT and when I confront the person who worked on my car I was met with ignorance and him claiming "I asked for this" even when when I confirmed with this same guy prior he even told me after I confronted him "you already paid" the ignorance this loser has is insane ( never pay before you see the results I learned my lesson and these people need to learn customer service and how to listen) read more

Don't go to the place they are a rip off. I basically paid 110 dollars for them to ruin my back window. The tinted half of it and now I have a black stripe across my window. They claim they have a guarantee, but they basicLly said I asked for this. Now who who want a black stripe across their rear window. They give bad service and back it up. I asked him to fix it and he is trying to charge me an extra 200 dollars. Then I ask them to remove the tint and he said the window isnt hot enough. I have taken my truck twice in a span of two years to get my Head Unit replaced. Fast work and on your way... The first time they did a great job,fast and clean. The second time they did a great job as far as the head unit and door speakers all around. But the last visit left me a bit on the un-easy side,do to installing my rear driver side speaker,something happend,not sure if it was my end or the shops end,but my power window controls do not work,it might be a wire not making contact directly or something. Regardless,they do great work on stereo installlations. If your in the area,give them a try. Even though my last visit was not the outcome i was waiting for,my stereo and speakers sound great,i just need not touch my power window in the rear,then again i only using in the summer time,i am sure by then i will be able to fix it. Currently at Mission Auto sound getting my 2018 Hatchback Civic tinted. My sis got her windows tinted here too. I got quoted $280 from another place called Solar Tint in the Woodland Hills area (where I live) but $170 here. I have family in LA so I was willing to drive out here. These guys are always busy so I'm glad I came with plenty of time to spend. I came in at 11:41am, it's currently 2pm and it's being worked on now. Service: The man (I think the manager) who was attending me was willing to answer any questions but seemed very rushed. There are like 3 other cars being worked on and maybe like 1 or 2 waiting. I forgot the exact tint percentages they offer. But the darkest is limo tint (I got for back 3 windows), 2nd to darkest (not legal/recommendation for front), and lightest tint (recommended for passenger windows). Important!: Cash only! I had to walk the nearest ATM which was at the gas station a block away. There's a Jack in the Box near by (walkable) and McDonald's (maybe 4 blocks). In the end, I was done and out of there until around 4:22pm!! (I sped home since I was super late for other plans, not to mention super hungry too) -.- The next day my door panels were dirty as I've seen other reviews mentioned this as well. read more

This is my first review on yelp and I think its worth doing my first review for Mission Auto Sound place, My boyfriend and I recently got a 4-door car and wanted to get it tinted because of how hot it gets here in Califonia. We've been looking and calling around different places that do car tinting. All of them will tint our car for $400+, super expensive! Then we found the Mission Auto Sound, I called in twice to get a quote from them, they both said $120. I finally made an appointment.Antonio went over the VLT%, whats legal and whats not. They worked on our car for about 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs. I didnt mind waiting, I love watching how they do the process of tinting. Antonio and his crew were very nice to us and treated our car with care.. The only thing that I didnt like is that the quote that we got did not include the windshield, the windshield was $100 more, but we paid $200 total, still waaayyy cheaper than what we would have paid in other places. Oh and its CASH ONLY!!! so dont forget to bring cash :D We've had the window tinted for about 3 days now and no bubbles or anything, my boyfriend accidentally rolled down his window yesterday but it didnt peel off or anything. I have taken my past 3 cars here for the reason that the tint is quality tint . So No your tint will not turn into the rainbow (purple) like all those other cheap rip you off places . I have taken two of my cars to get tinted windows from this shop in a 2 year span, and both times a man named Tony approached me. He was very hospitable. The tint job for my first car was $110: limo tint for the back two windows and a lighter tint for the front two and rear window. The tint job for my second car was $130: limo tint for all 4 windows and rear window. Also, 4 inches of tint for my front windshield. - life time warranty, so you could bring it back whenever to get it re-touched. I have not tried anything else at this shop, but I was very satisfied with both of my visits for the tint job. read more

Called on a Saturday morning and gave me a quote for 120 dollars with lifetime warranty over the phone. They asked me to stop by....so I did! Driving out there, I didn't realize they were amongst many other shady car window/tinting places along Mission Road with makeshift signs and random people trying to flag you down. I actually had a pretty hard time finding it and had to drive up and down the street a few times....I finally figured out that they share the space with another business, but occupy the garage spots closer to the freeway. Look for the big metal two story garage! They were actually moderately busy when I got there, which was a good sign and made the place reputable amongst all of their competitors in the area. I was helped by Antonio over the phone and a younger looking guy when I got there. He showed me the available tints they had (35%, 70% and an even darker tint ?90%), told me what I could legally (and not so legally do LOL) and went from there. I wish they had lighter tints on hand as all of them looked pretty dark to me, but they didn't. Apparently there was one you could special order, but it didn't seem like they did that often and couldn't tell me how long it would take to do so. So they tell me it would take between 1.5-2 hours, so I wait in the corner of a garage lined with old car seats (some with holes) and a small TV showing an older movie on local television. Luckily with a book and my phone, the 1.5 hours flew by fast and my car was done and it was time to pay. CASH ONLY! I don't know how many people do, but I don't tend to carry around that much cash on myself. And no one told me after both speaking over the phone and after picking out the tint. They were nice enough to hold my driver's license as collateral and let me drive to the bank to make the withdrawal. Going home, I noticed some tiny bubbles on the driver side door and some streakiness of the back window. I showed my husband and he reassured that they should evaporate/fade after some time...and they did after about 1.5 days! I also wish they would've told me that while I was at the garage, because I was worried I'd have to stop by later in the week. Overall, I'm fairly happy with the tint job they did and did it at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend them to another friend...and it was the lifetime warranty that got me! read more

Too bad I can't give this place half a star although they didn't deserve that either!!! First and foremost, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I arrived at this place at 11:15am. I was quoted at 180 for my tint on a Honda. Before I left Mission Auto Sound there was probably 3-4 cars max in front of me. 11:15 turned to 4:15 and still haven't heard from them. I tired calling for an update but the phone was "busy" for an hour straight. I called the cell phone number that was listed on the business card. He had no clue what was going on so I decided to head to the shop for an update on my car. I pulled up to the shop to find my car only service was removing my old tint from the car. I asked, "why has my car not been service?!?!" I got a response that made no sense at all. Something about the tint was really "difficult" to remove. To top it off, he had the nerve to charge me 30 for removing the tint because it was difficult. (BTW I didn't pay that shit either) I just can't believe they ignored my car and didn't take responsibility for their actions. Like me and other Yelp users heed our warnings and take your HARD EARN MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY WILL GIVE YOU BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AT A BETTER PRICE. read more
