We ordered a basic bacon burger and chicken strips. Everything was great. Fries were delicious as was the sauce that came with them. The chicken strips were a big surprise. They were absolutely delicious. Tender, white meat strips perfectly seasoned and fried. I would get them all the time if the cart came by more often. It was also one of the more reasonably priced food trucks we've had here. Definitely recommend!

They also did not have a sign indicating their store hours. I managed to find one store owner who was preparing to start the day and she said most of them open at 11 or 11:30 am. We went down the street to grab donuts and returned to try three different food trucks: 1) At the Momo House, we had the pan-fried vegetarian momo and chole samosa with a side of curry chickpeas. We are big fans of momo, especially when they are handmade. These did not disappoint! 2) At Chochu Local Island BBQ, we had the barbecue chicken plate with a side of rice and salad. This was a popular one with a line at opening. I am glad we waited because the barbecue chicken was really tender, juicy, and flavorful. 3) At Ocean Sushi, we had the tempura shrimp and vegetable spring roll. There were seven pieces of shrimp and five pieces of spring roll. One can never go wrong with fried food! This was plenty of food for us to share. The wooden picnic tables and benches are clean and pleasantly shaded. It was an overwhelmingly hot day so the shades really helped to alleviate that and make it a comfortable setting.

Also, nicely seasoned - totally worth upgrading the regular catfish order. I did have to wait a bit, but the owners were so nice to give me a free lemonade for my wait and they were generally very kind. Small is definitely small sized (appetizer quantity) and is about $7 Regular size runs on average $11. They have different variations like adding veggies or canned pineapple. You can add one of their 8 sauces as well for flavor you're looking for. Regular size is a good portion size of food, but bento is just OK. They use grilled chicken breast (rather than more commonly used thighs) on their bentos and it tastes just like grilled chicken if you don't add any sauces. Rice was a bit mushy. It's a good qunatity of food and price is ok but, it's not like a normal style of "teriyaki bowls". Enough people have been raving about the sandwiches from this food truck that pushed me over the edge. You see, I'm always looking for a "REALLY" good sandwich. So the BLTA (Bacon Lettuce Tomato Avocado). My thought was, this is what everyone was talking about - let's try it to see it for myself. Fried taters - you can't go wrong with anything fried, especially potatoes. I will say this first - service was quick and courteous. Once he had my order, it was off to the races and BOOM!!! My lunch was served in a neat container. It already smelled really good on the elevator to my floor. My 2nd thought was this could be really dangerous. If this was really really good, with quick access - I'm in trouble... So the Sandwich - it was a "GOOD Portion (literally half the size of my to go box. It was amazing - and the Bread nailed it. Ciabatta bread was slightly crunchy on the outside, but soft at the same time, and chewy on the inside (but not "Gummy" like the ones you get from Costco). It made it really easy to bite off mouthfuls of this handheld lunch. The sandwich guy in the food cart makes a great sandwich - period. Now the Fried Taters - that's what it says on the menu. So I was thinking "Tots". I like Tots... Let's get Tots. But was not expecting what I actually got. Describing them is like, okay these are fried - but these are Potato "SWIRLS". Not like a stringy curly fry, the whole SWIRL. They were large, fried to a perfect crisp and seasoned to taste. I really liked them.
