We love this restaurant! The service is super prompt. Everyone who works here is also super friendly. I haven't had anything I didn't like. The brisket, pulled pork, salmon, and sausage are all top notch. The sides never disappoint. I'm looking forward to when banana pudding makes its way back as the special dessert. Macaroni and cheese is one of my favorite sides here although they changed their recipe a few months ago and it's not quite as good as it was. Blown away by this place OMG!!! Love absolutely everything about this place!!! I love the Decour you have no idea I've been wanting to do an art piece with the different arm forces logos the American flag so on and so forth so coming here seeing how patriotic they are makes me feel amazing. I love how patriotic they are we need this in America we need to be happy with where we live and happy with where we are from!!! I had the turkey sandwich and macaroni and cheese with french fries and a soda. The food was so good I don't even remember how much I spent but money well spent that's for sure. The turkey tasted so delicious you have no idea I want to bring everyone I know here!! French fries spot on macaroni and cheese perfect!! I love that they play the national anthem at noon I'm coming for that!!! 5 stars all the way!! Oh custumer service let me not forget this!! everyone is super nice here you feel like you have been invited to someone's barbecue at their house. southern hospitality is definitely in place. After constantly looking for new restaurants in our neighborhood we came across this place on yelp. We are big on bbq joints and this place didn't disappoint. We ordered the Trio (we picked brisket, ribs, and pulled pork) the meats were very good the brisket was ok, nothing to brag about but still good. The Mac and cheese was delicious!! Loved their whole "service" theme which went well with the veterans parking out in the front. Will definitely go back again try more meats and more side. read more

My first time visiting this location after leaving the park, and I hope it will not be the last! I ordered the Salmon combo with macaroni and cheese and it was delicious. My mother enjoyed it as well, being a pescatarian herself. Compared to the Davie University location, it is very spacious to accommodate a lot of people, and it is impressive how much they care for the veterans and active military. Today I visited Mission BBQ with my favorite uncle and my godfather, the food was an utter disappointment. I had some ribs and I must admit, they weren't THAT bad, they were very meaty, but they were lacking the flavor that you wish for in baby back ribs. The Mac and Cheese was decent, as well as the French fries. My uncle had some chicken, the chicken was almost red. His beans were flavorless, and the coleslaw was dried. Although, my godfather liked the pork and brisket. The cornbread was hard and stale. One of the plus', were the employees, they were kind and hardworking. Let me start out by saying I never crave barbecue but this Sunday night we needed barbecue badly on our 2 hour ride back home to Miami. Yelp came through again we opted to try out this place. We shared 10 bones of spareribs and some brisket. I am happy to say the barbecue was delicious the meat fell off the bone and were done perfectly. With the choice of six different barbecue sauces on the table made it even that much better you can just add every little flavor you want and get just the right flavor that you were looking for. We ate the mac & cheese the collards and the corn bread and they were all delicious the mac & cheese was creamy and tasty the collards had just the right seasoning and the corn bread was like dessert. I would definitely come back to this place especially if I lived closer but I will make it a detour on our way home every time we come this way. read more

What a great fast casual place. Food was very good. I had the smoked turkey with mac n cheese and my son the pulled pork with fries. Turkey was juicy and tender not hard or dry, very unexpected as I assumed it was gonna be dry. Mac n cheese was also good. My son finished his meal in 5 seconds and he is a slow eater... But even more amazing was the service. The staff was super friendly, very welcoming and they helped me and advised me to get the turkey as I wasn't feeling it for pork. Overall; great place, awesome service and prices are really affordable. It has been a while after my last review but Mission BBQ definitely justifies the effort. I have been to other Mission BBQ's and the one thing that is missing here is country music. Most locations play continuous country music and Southern Rock. I guess because this place is close to Miami country music is not there thing. Also the staff is not as friendly as other locations. It is good food with out the charm of other locations. read more

So far so good! Only had the beef brisket sandwich, with the moist meat, but it was very delicious. In comparison to other bbq places in the area, I would say the meat was more moist and tender than the others I've tried. We stopped in by driving by. We were impressed to see the huge bbq trucks out front. The decor was very well done it appears to be a national chain but I don't think it is. We stopped by today for lunch and ordered 3 orders of ribs. The restaurant has a nice concept but the order was very disappointing. The dry rub on the ribs was so salty we couldn't eat it. The spice was fine but the salt taste was overwhelming and the ribs were cold like they were at room temp for more than an hour as if you arrived late at a home bbq. The sides were good but the chef should try their food each day to be sure the recipe is followed in their kitchen. Too expensive for us to go back and try again. read more

They have plenty of staff to ensure a good well run experience. Now, this is a stand in line, order and pick up food type place (then sit and eat). It's not fancy (but what BBQ place is). Brisket is served Lean or Moist (don't knock it til you've tried it, done both and like both). Turkey is good. Pork is great. Cornbread is served with meats. Sandwiches are all done well. Haven't tried ribs yet, but for sure next time. Have gone to University locale many times but thrilled to have in our hood! Can't say enough good things! Go for lunch but get there just before noon. It's been awhile since we had been to mission. We were driving back from a trip and decided to stop and here, remembering that last time the food was good. Well, this time the food was awful!! My husband ordered the brisket and pulled pork combo. They sliced a piece of fat and served it has a piece of meat, the pulled pork was so salty he could not eat it and the corn bread was dry. The only thing good was the Mac and cheese. The brisket sandwich I got was very fatty. Yes I know that brisket tends to be fatty. But it was a bit much and my collard greens were so salty that could not finish it. On top of the food being bad we found that the price was high for what was being served. This is great barbecue on the go. Ribs are very good, fall-off-the-bone tender. Chicken is moist and flavorful. Pork is also really good and juicy. Brisket is not consistent, though. The first time I had it I thought I was in heaven. The last time, not so much. It was dry. The collard greens are excellent, but the corn casserole is not. And the corn bread is just ok.
