The brisket was incredibly moist and flavorful, the beef ribs were delicious, and the mac and cheese was excellent. Even the grilled vegetables were really good. Everything had great flavor and tasted fresh. On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent. Great food, great atmosphere, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to. They also have several jerk-style dishes that I didn't get a chance to try this time, but I'll definitely make my way back for those next! Highly recommended!

Wish I could give ten stars. This place is my absolute new favorite spot for BBQ. And as someone who considers herself to be a bit "southern" I'd like to think my opinion of this type of food should be weighted pretty heavily! :) In the short while they've been open, I've been at least 4 or 5 times.... And it's about a 40 minute drive from where I live! As far as the meats go, I've tried everything except the chicken. Every time Ive been here the meats are super tender and very flavorful. I always get the meat platter and upgrade to include the sides because you can't have BBQ without baked beans or French fries! My favorite has got to be the turkey, which surprised me! I don't know how they get it so juicy but my mouth is drooling just thinking about it! The brisket is a close second..... Delicious! If you're a sauce person like I am, then you'll really like the assortment of BBQ sauces they have on the table. Some are spicy some are sweet, but my go-to sauce is the Memphis belle! Another thing I love about this place is their sweet tea.... You can tell its freshly brewed and in my opinion that's the only way iced tea should be. I can't stand when iced tea comes from a fountain....yuck! For an extra buck or two you can purchase a larger, reusable cup that supports the Wounded Warrior Project. This is, I think, what makes Mission BBQ stand out among other restaurants in south Florida (besides their great food, obvi!) They are extremely supportive of those that serve our country..... The decor is dedicated to all those that wear a uniform from police and firemen to those who are and who have served in the military. This place is great.... The only reason I am giving two stars is because I love the food. I am a regular with my husband and two children and we visit weekly. Love love love the food and pretty much everything on the menu. Moist brisket being my personal favorite! However, while visiting on August 26th around 2:30, while eating with my family I watched a darker skinned male, probably late twenties early thirties, full mouth of gold teeth, give another member of your staff the middle finger. Being that this is supposed to be a "family oriented company", I didn't feel this should be allowed. I'm not sure what kind of people they staff at this facility, but we will not be returning anytime soon. And hopefully when we decide to come back at a later time, affirmative action will have been taken. read more

I once told one of the managers at Mission BBQ, Tony to be exact. People don't leave companies, they leave managers. I thought this guy Tony, who was at a previous Mission that I thought he was a good manager. Well, I clearly was wrong. Mission BBQ I have found is notorious for poor management and poor decision making. Letting employees go for the smallest of infractions. Yelling at employees in front of customers. The last straw has been pulled. Tony, you and the other managers of the Davie location will be the reason this veteran will no longer be coming to the Davie location. I have eaten at scrubys bbq for over 20 years. I never thought we would get another bbq place as delicious as them. It is hands down the best bbq. The food is ready so fast you don't even have a chance to sit down. The staff is always polite & helpful. And the owner is always there making sure everything is running okay. I love the pulled pork sandwich - NC style which has coleslaw on it. And the bbq sauce is so delicious!! They have sweet & spicy. I love the fries, Mac and cheese & green beans for sides. I come to mission BBQ regularly but today on the other hand I had a different experience. As I was waiting for my food I was offended by hearing one of your employees, a young man with gold teeth, addressing a young lady as a B***h. It really made me and my family very uncomfortable while we were waiting for our food. We expect more from an establishment that prides themselves on a military motto. I got the Boylan Black Cherry soda made with cane sugar and it was delicious! Chicken, brisket, sausage, and my personal favorite: smoked TURKEY! This is truly my favorite BBQ meat and isn't always offered at most places. The ribs fell right off the bone and were seasoned great.
