I had an offer of a free sandwich on veteran's day from Missio Bar B Q. I stopped by and asked for a brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese to go. They didn't ask for any proof of my veteran status and only charged me for the mac and cheese. Then when they handed the bag with my order they included a piece of cake and a serving of an apple desert. The sandwich had 4 large slices of a very good brisket. There was enough that I made my wife a sandwich with half of it and we were both full. The mac and cheese was good as was the apple dessert. I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is always good and the portions generous. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. I love BBQ and this is a great place to get some. The atmosphere is unique and shows the appreciation for our first responders, service members, etc. I've had their ribs and it perfectly falls of the bone. I usually get the Texas Twang sauce but it is all about personal preference. Definitely recommend to eat here! read more

Ss for the food, haven't had all but the pork and brisket are pretty good. Decent smoky taste. Not always juicy/tender brisket. Sauce selection is pretty good, I prefer the spicy one, which isn't quite spicy enough. Went to this location last night. Well set up for covid. The staff was great, cheerful and wanting to help. We ordered our meals and got settled at the table. The only thing missing was the bottles of sauces but all you had to do was ask and they gave us all we wanted. The food was as expected from Mission, delicious. I had the brisket (moist) and the jalapeño and cheese sausage. My side was the fantastic beans with brisket. Plenty to eat. It was my first time ever going to mission bbq and my first time at this location. I've always heard good things and I looked up the reviews for this particular one before going and they were all good. I called in my order before going and they explained the process. I got there and wasn't sure if I still had to stay in line so I asked and the staff member was really nice and told me I didn't have to and she walked over to a side register so I could pay. I then waited for my order to come out. Everyone was super nice from the person that initially greeted me to the person handing me my order. Six great sauces served on each table my favorite was the Texas twang. 14 hour "moist" brisket was nice as well as the lean and smokey turkey. The brisket baked beans are exceptional. Very good mac and cheese too. In my opinion the "cold" slaw could benefit from a lil more seasoning and the cornbread was a lil dry. Overall was a really good meal. I have been to the Rockville location and the food was always good. However, please BEWARE of the food at the Germantown, MD location. I visited yesterday evening at 6/23/2021 around 8:00pm to get takeout for the family. I ordered the brisket, half chicken, salmon, and (ribs) for myself and 3 other family members. All of us experienced food poisoning within 3-4 hours of consuming the food (Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea). The restaurant likely keeps its meats out longer then they should from the next day or more. It was horrible food poisoning for all of us. read more

The staff are very friendly and kind, and the manager is really nice! But the food is deliciously amazing. It's a great atmosphere. The cashiers greet you as soon as you step inside. The food is really good. The selection of bbq sauces were great I had a hard time choosing which one I liked best. I was only disappointed at the fact that it's not a restaurant where you have a server you order your food and get it just like any other fast food joint.
