Food was delivered promptly. We got the wag obi beef, fried dumplings and Soju flight. The flight was strawberry, peach, grape, and yogurt. The yogurt was surprisingly delicious tasting like "cake". The grape was sweet like grapes. The peach was light and peachy while the grape was good but hard to define. The bulgogi was cooked in front of us to our liking. I particularly like the spicy kimchi. The ambience was very nice; not loud but comfortable. Service was outstanding and prompt

The service here was great, I came in after one of my lifts to get a quick snack and was greatly surprised by how good this "side" order of ramen was. The atmosphere of the place was also something that was great, each of the tables had their cookers for the bbq if that the route you go for. I will be returning here soon to try the full experience of the bbq.

Chadol in Rockville, MD, opened in 2022 and is the first of three restaurant locations. They pride themselves on serving high-quality ingredients, specifically Certified Angus Beef and Duroc Pork. The restaurant itself is notably clean and well-ventilated, which is a plus for a table-side Korean BBQ experience. THE FOOD We ordered the Chadol Premium Combo, which featured five delicious cuts of Angus beef accompanied by a bowl of soybean soup, fresh lettuce leaves, large pink pickled daikon slices, and three standard dipping sauces. We also added a salad and the cheese corn to round out the meal. Overall, the meat quality was excellent. * Unmarinated Short Rib: Simple, high-quality, and quite tasty. * Boneless Ribeye: Prepared with rosemary and butter, making it an incredibly rich and flavorful bite. * Marinated Boneless Short Rib: Prepared with sesame and garlic. Because this cut is closer to the bone, it was flavorful and tender. As a bonus, the fried garlic left at the bottom of the pan after cooking was absolutely delicious. * Marinated Galbi Short Rib: Very tender and surprisingly flavorful without leaning too sweet, which was a great balance. * Pickled Chayote: Made with chopped onions and jalapeños. This side was refreshing and flavorful, serving as palate cleanser between rich bites of beef. THE SERVICE * Our server, Kaitlyn, took a no-nonsense, efficient approach to our meal. She helped start the grilling process and dropped by periodically to fire up the next batch of meats and refill our banchan and water. Tip: You have the option to cook everything yourself, but if you want assistance, simply flip the table sign to request help with the grill. OVERALL A clean environment for high-quality Korean BBQ with solid, efficient service and excellent cuts of meat.

Absolutely wonderful time with family for my birthday dinner! We got wonderful service with a great server cooking the meat well and providing me a free slice of cake since it was my birthday. My family loved everything we ordered including the premium meat combo, our soju flight, corn cheese, and steamed egg custard. The meat was flavorful and good quality. I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant when it isn't busy as you get the best service then. Thank you for making my birthday dinner memorable!

Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks this is the best KBBQ in the area! We love the quality and variety of meats. The best meats in our opinion are the Curry Pork Belly and the Galbi Marinated Short Rib. The Galbi is one of the premium meats so it's extra if you're getting AYCE, but we came during the Christmas-NYE promo and had it included in our AYCE. It doesn't look appetizing in the photo but IT IS INCREDIBLE. Seriously, our whole table said the galbi was the best. We also like the bulgogi when we ordered it the first time around, but the second time we got it it less flavorful. One note about the sides (yes I'm a sides girlie at KBBQ), but the steamed egg dish is not included in the AYCE. It is $10/each. We wish we were told by the staff before ordering because we are so used to other bbq places giving it for free.

Complimentary dessert for your birthday! The Creme Brulee Cheesecake was a great cap to my first KBBQ AYCE meal in a few years. My favorite items off the AYCE menu were the curry pork belly, the brisket, and probably all the steaks. The steaks in particular were very tender and flavorful. Overall, I was happy with the variety of options for AYCE. I wish we had room in our stomachs to try the shrimp! On the side, I enjoyed a soju flight of four flavors: yogurt, strawberry, grape, and peach. Our waiter did a great job keeping the grill clean the entire meal. He regularly visited and also helped out with some of the cooking of the meat. There was no wait coming in before 5pm on a Halloween Friday. I'll have to try my luck next time to see if have to endure the long wait. Great spot and casual atmosphere to celebrate something with friends and enjoy some great bbq.

Some of the best quality meats I've had for AYCE KBBQ in the area. The cuts were consistently well-marbled with just the right amount of fat, which made everything juicy and flavorful. My favorite was definitely the seasoned top blade - just salt and pepper, but once grilled and cut up it tasted like tender, juicy steak bites. The sauces/dipping options were a little too mild for my taste- the mayo dip and the soy sweet sauce felt a bit muted. Personally, I prefer bolder, more savory flavors in sauces to cut through the richness of the meat, so I found myself trying to eat more kimchi and pickled radish to give each bite that extra zing. Not a dealbreaker at all, but I do wish the dipping options packed a bit more punch. Service, on the other hand, was really good. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. He predicted what we needed before we even asked, kept our sides and napkins refilled, and timed each round of meat perfectly so we were never left waiting. Overall, solid spot if you value high quality meats and good service.

Another trip to Chadol to celebrate a family friend's move to NYC. As usual, we got various assorted meats (mostly beef, some spicy pork) and lots of side apps (egg custard, seafood pancake, dumplings and corn cheese). Plenty of food to go around, and lots of fun on the grill. The meat is high quality and the sides are authentic. This is still my go-to for Korean BBQ in MoCo and this last visit cements that sentiment. Thank goodness for Chadol, otherwise I'd have to cross the river and get to Annandale, and who wants to do that?

We came here for a family dinner to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday, and it was such a fun night! We forgot to make a reservation, so we ended up waiting about 40 minutes. Luckily, there were benches outside which made the wait more manageable, but I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We went with the all-you-can-eat BBQ option (you get 90 minutes), and it was worth it! Since it was a really busy night, the service was a little slow, so my tip is to order most of your meat selections upfront to save time. Despite the rush, our server was super kind and very accommodating, we asked for so many side dish refills and he kept them coming with a smile (thank you!). I have tried a lot of Korean BBQ places in the DMV area, and I have say, Chadol had the best Corn-Cheese side dish I've had so far. Creamy, cheesy, and absolutely addictive! Oh, don't get confused by the receipt. They do it the Korean way--tax is already include din the price. So the $46 per person covers everything, even though you won't see a separate tax line on the bill.

We came here with a large party of approximately 20 to celebrate a birthday. We were able to make a reservation in advance. The majority of the group must be there to be seated. We did the all you can eat (AYCE) dinner option. For AYCE, basic banchan was included, but some sides that I'm used to being included cost extra - the steamed egg and corn-cheese are my favorites but are a la carte. There are other appetizers that are included to make up for it - salad, french fries, ramen (comes in spicy and mild), fried dumplings, soy bean soup, and white rice. The banchan was plentiful - service was helpful to refill them on request - but they were slow to bring out the meats, which is the main event at a KBBQ place. There was a variety of meats to choose from, and you will leave stuffed. I enjoyed the brisket, top blade steak, bulgogi, curry pork belly, and pork jowl. They also have shrimp and chicken options. We are capable of cooking our own meats, but I was surprised at how hands-off they were. Our cooking tray got blackened pretty quickly, and service never came to wipe or replace them. They have a good ventilation system in place - after eating dinner, you don't leave the place smelling like KBBQ. All things considered, when dealing with such a large group, service was good overall. There are many KBBQ options to choose from in Rockville, and Chadol is a solid choice.

I think this is the best KBBQ in MoCo by far. Service was great and fast and attentive. All flavors of the meats were on point and plentiful. No skimping here! Many choices to choose from if you do the AYCE choice. They do also have other à la carte choices and other sides too. But I was too focused on eating the bbq. My statement above about being the best probably won't change for a while.

    Ashley Y.

My favorite kbbq spot in the area! The banchan was delicious and the servers were really nice and would refill when we finished them. I guess only complaint would be the salad dressing because it tasted more like bibim sauce or something that would go on a noodle or marinate meat, but that's just a personal preference. The beef quality was amazing (usually I keep my expectations low for AYCE) but I was thoroughly impressed. And gotta finish with the spicy ramen! Had a great time and will definitely be back

AYCE KBBQ! If you get the AYCE option, you must get the pork jawl seasoned, the curry pork belly, the sirloin. This place handled our party of 18 so well. They kept delivering food out, was very timely and overall a great experience. There are some more unique options, between 18 people we had one large table and then two smaller ones. It was crazy how much we went through, but the sides and food were good. It turned out to be roughly 67 per person including all the drinks and additional sides people added. The seasoned meats were really good. I liked the curry pork belly over the regular pork belly but that's also because the curry one was a bit thinner sliced, the regular port belly felt a little too fatty. I would come back here again. It was a good experience overall.

The restaurant is spacious, clean, and welcoming. My girlfriend and I sat in a booth across from the bar. My dirty martini with blue cheese olives was excellent and it was difficult to not simply down the drink. We wanted to start with an appetizer but decided to hold out for dessert -- this time. My girlfriend had a well-done cheeseburger with their house made cole slaw that she loved. I had a small bite and it was fantastic. I have had blackened Ahi tuna in a number of fine restaurants, but this was the best by far. The tenderness of the tuna and its flavor was fantastic. The cole slaw is delicious and the tasty jasmine rice had been cooked perfectly. What we noticed most was the tremendous balance of flavors. They were distinct yet one element of the meal complemented another perfectly on the same plate. Their Reese's and chocolate cookie with vanilla was wonderful. It was refreshing and not overly sweet. Many thanks to Aidan for being cool, helpful, and patient. In addition, the meal was so amazing I had forgotten my credit card.
