Mistero is a beautiful Italian-Mediterranean spot, and it's in the same location where Secreto used to be, with an interior that looks almost identical, so there was a lot of excitement going in. Some of the chefs seem to have stayed, and that familiarity definitely came through in a few of the dishes. The food, overall, was great. The lobster croquetas special was very tasty, but the portion was surprisingly small at only two croquetas for $25, which felt a bit steep for what you got. the calamari appetizer came out a bit soggy and did not win the table over. Some pasta dishes were excellent like the Kassandra fig and pear ravioli , my mom really enjoyed her crab meat ravioli, and my boyfriend loved his filet mignon with risotto. My sister-in-law also loved her branzino, but my stepdad was not a fan of his black seafood pasta. My lived his pasta dog with steak as well! Service was a strong point, and with five out of seven dishes being genuinely enjoyable I'd come back.

Place was great , pretty small and it was packed. Service is great always and the food was very good, all the things I tried I liked. Lobster Croquetas are a must and the pistachio risotto was fantastic.

Elevated dining In the heart of Kendall. This amazing spot is truly a hidden gem tucked inside a shopping center right across the street from Town & Country. It used to be Secreto (which has since relocated), but the new Mistero has taken things to an entirely new level in terms of flavor, presentation, and overall quality. From the moment you walk in, the warm hospitality and inviting ambiance immediately make you feel welcome. The space is small and cozy, yet manages to feel elegant and upscale--and, most importantly, it's spotless. It's a perfect setting for both a romantic dinner date or a small group looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience. We started with wine, but I'll admit the wine list was a bit limited, especially when it came to Spanish wines, which are my go-to. Still, we found a decent option by the glass and moved forward with the meal. One standout feature here is the daily chef's specials, which aren't listed on the menu. Your server will explain them in detail, but interestingly, they don't mention the prices upfront. We ordered an appetizer from the specials (pictured below) and--no surprise--it was absolutely delicious. For my main dish, I had the truffled risotto with filet mignon, and all I can say is wowsers--rich, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, I was surprised with a birthday dessert: a decadent chocolate lava cake, presented with a song from the entire staff--even the chef came out to sing! It was such a thoughtful and fun gesture. The entire experience was A++. Christian, the owner, was incredibly friendly and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. I'm already looking forward to many more visits to this fantastic restaurant.

Our waitress Diego was nothing short of a five-star waiter. The ambience was cozy. What's most important? The food was excellent. We had the Miami spice menu today. We had the soup of the day and a Caesar salad for an appetizer and we ordered the chicken for lunch. And we had two desserts, the tiramisu as well as a. ricotta and pistachio cake. Left with a very happy stomach.

First time here but won't be the last! Service was great and food was truly even better. The filet mignon and risotto were to die for. The venue is very clean and looks modern, love the ambiance. Our son had a kid's portion pasta and they were very accommodating with adding a side of protein to it. The only suggestion we have is to chill the canned soda rather than only serving it with ice, but that's an easy fix. We plan to return soon.

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. Cheers to the team for creating such a spectacular experience!

It really added to the ambience. The player was very talented! As appetizers we ordered the charred oysters, the pull-apart bread, truffle fries, and a wedge salad. They were all delicious. The fries seemed to just be a common frozen variety. I'd expect hand cut, homemade fries from a 5 star restaurant like this, charging $14 for an order of fries. But, they were ok. The bread was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my wedge salad. There aren't a lot of places where I can get one, so I was thrilled to be able to order one. I had wished they had oysters Rockefeller, but the charred oysters were delicious, and they had a salmon Rockefeller on the menu. I ordered the Barramundi fish with a stuffed baked potato and roasted broccolini as my sides. The fish didn't have a lot of flavor and was set in pool of (I think) olive oil. The oil didn't have a lot of flavor either. I would have preferred the fish just be served alone. The baked potato was HUGE! That could have been my entire meal! It could have been two meals! It turned into four meals, as I took home my leftovers. The broccolini was delicious. Probably my favorite part of my main entree. My daughter ordered the filet mignon. It was like butter! So soft, it melted in her mouth! It was a good portion and she had leftovers as well. She added a side of garlic butter, which at $7 was not really worth the cost. My husband had the lamb chops. They were so delicious! Cooked perfectly! He had a side of sautéed mushrooms that were absolutely amazing! I do think it was ridiculous to charge $7 for what equated to maybe 2 mushrooms. Our other daughter ordered the roasted chicken. It was delicious and a huge portion. She took at least half of it home. Our son ordered the spicy rigatoni with chicken. We all thought it was very odd that they brought a chicken leg on a side plate. Normally, at any restaurant, when you add a protein like chicken to your pasta, they put a cut, grilled chicken breast ON your pasta. This was neither on it, nor a chicken breast, nor was it cut. We all thought it was the most strange way you could give someone their protein for their dish. The pasta was delicious and a large portion that turned into 3 meals. Our waiter, Alonzo, was wonderful! He explained everything to us! We ordered a bottle of wine and he told us the really cool back story of the brand. He told us how long our meals would take to prepare. He was very attentive and helpful. I will say, for a restaurant called a "Vineyard", I'm shocked they don't have a more extensive wine list. There were maybe 5 Sauvignon blancs, and 4 of them were from California. Only one was from New Zealand, which is the one we ordered. I think they have more drinks than they have on their menu. I feel they're missing an opportunity to sell more by not letting the customer know everything that's available. I don't know if I would return. It's very expensive in the sense that they charge you for every little thing. It was a nice place to go for a special occasion, but I don't know if it's worth it.
