Looks like they have two of them. The sauce was perfectly tomatoey and fresh. It was a great margarita. They give you scissors to cut. Fun and cutting the pizza at the table adds an extra freshness. Caesar salad comes onto of their pizza dough bread. Soft pillowy and chewy flatbread. It didn't have croutons but you didn't miss it. Cold salad on a warm flatbread was nice. Salad also have good amount of anchovy flavor. Tiramisu is to die for. Right balance of mascarpone cream and coffee soaked lady fingers. A must no matter how full you are. Lastly they have 18 beers on draft. I had a nice stout that was not bitter, smooth and so good. The service was very friendly and attentive. The place was packed but operated very smoothly. It's a great place and I'd be back whenever I am at Whistler.

This leads me to our dinner tonight, pizza from Fat Tony's Pizza, Whistler, a tiny little hole in the wall that blows away the notion that well ... size matters because the size of their establishment doesn't match the flavor bomb their pizza delivers! They have a fully separate plant based menu, vegetarian and vegan options, clearly marking which options are available with vegan cheese! We ordered two small pizzas, the "Beyond Barbeque Meat Lovers" .. with Beyond Beef crumbles, Beyond sausage, BBQ sauce and more .. and, the "Spicy Mushroom" with seasoned (that's a) spicy mushrooms and red & green peppers. The crust is soft and fluffy ... like pillowy soft to the degree I wasn't sure whether to consume this or lay my head on it and call it a night (messy!) We went with consumption and I have to say, I think we made the right choice ! The Beyond pizza had good solid pieces of Beyond product, the bite being a perfect texture to compliment to the soft crust! The mushroom pizza had a bit of a kick, you could feel the burn on the lips but it was mild, just enough to give a satisfying kick but not so much to leave you wimpering in apprehension afraid to take another bite. If you're in Whistler and looking for a vegan fix, you really have to give this place a try. Their pizza was really unique to me, I've never had that combination of savory while heavenly pillowy

The Lumberjack was also very tasty, with just the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. Overall, Creekbread is a must visit when you're in Whistler! They have a lot of choices and we settled on the ones we wanted to try. I went with the veggie pie and added the mushy style peas, mashed potatoes and gravy to the top. Mr. B decided on the Kangaroo pie after talking to the staff. He was a little leary of where the Kangaroo came from, but we were told there is a farm in British Columbia that raises them, so he wanted to try something he had never had. Please see the note below about the kangaroo. There is a correction. The pies came out and were quite large, but we must have been hungry and they were scrumptious we finished them off. Let's start with the veggie pie. It was filled with veggies, carrots, potatoes, onion, corn, celery and yams. The sauce is a coconut milk based sauce and was creamy. The Hopper, with ground kangaroo was lovely. The pie is filled with ground kangaroo, and I mean ground, it was fine meat and stuffed full with a Cabernet Merlot Balsamic Reduction that balanced the sweetness of the meat. The service was great, the staff was nice, and helpful. Great choice. NOTE: I received a correction from the owner of Peaked Pies after posting this review. The Kangaroo is not sourced from British Columbia as we were told. While the food was excellent this was disappointing to hear. Mr. B specifically asked where the kangaroo was sourced as he didn't want frozen and would have ordered something else. I wanted to let you all know I was wrong as we were given inaccurate information from the staff.

It was really messy to eat. The crust was good and flaky, but the filling was nothing to write home about. It wasn't very thick and I guess I was expecting something more like a chicken pot pie. Again, this was my first time trying an Aussie pie, so maybe it's just my taste buds, but I wasn't too impressed.
