I have been shopping and consigning to Misty's for the last 8 years and can't say enough nice thing about Misty and her staff. Misty's is the store I could visit weekly and always discover new pieces at good prices. It was a treat for out of town guests to visit, shop and buy. Having been absent for several months I've now returned to a "different" store. Misty's used to be a treasure trove of wonderful finds, a great fun experience to seek and discover all sorts of newly added items. Today I found Misty's to have gone through a transformation. Prices have gone so far up that the thrill of discovery has exited stage left. Now many items are in assigned rooms or "galleries" with cute signs as if an interior designer is attempting to merchandise Misty's. Please get back to what you did best. read more

If you haven't been here yet hop up, get into your car, and get over to Misty's. This place is the BEST. They have about a bazillion square feet of every style of furniture imaginable. And, ulike so many other consignment stores, everything in there is quality and in beautiful condition. Misty's prices are really reasonable, but as reasonable as they are, after an item is in there for 30 days the price drops by 15% (I think), and continues to do so over every 30 days. If you are willing to wait and watch this policy allows you to take home some real steals. I think it might be my favorite place in the greater Palm Springs area. read more

What a great place to find one-of-a-kind furnishings for your home. If we need something, we come here first before going to a big box store to find a new item. Even if we don't need anything in particular, it's a nice way to spend a lazy afternoon. Some of our purchases that come to mind in the moment: a floor lamp, a very nice stainless steel mailbox, and a vintage golf pull cart that is in excellent shape and just needed a little tlc. It's always a pleasant surprise to find the item has been marked down from the original price. (Items are marked down 15% every month.) Of course whatever item we fall in love with that has been there a couple of months; we always wonder how it didn't get snapped up sooner. Arrrrrrr! I feel like a pirate! And everyone is so helpful here, no disgruntled employees. There is parking in the back that is much more convenient when walking to your car after purchasing an item (as opposed to parking in front on the side of the building). read more

In purchasing a new home I purchased a beautiful piece of art from Mistys and then decorated our home using this piece as An Inspiration. We purchased a dining set, credenza, large wall mirror, bar stools and bedside tables. We went every weekend and each day there were new "happy making" items. I come here because of the eclectic mix of furniture, often unique pieces, and great prices... who pays retail? Only fools pay retail! He wasn't helpful in locating our bed that didn't sell. My wife and I have been there before and are always apprehensive because the staff is so snooty but this is the final straw. I took 5 things to her in mid-May, and 4 of the 5 items sold in 2 weeks! My check was mailed out. Misty's has the most reasonable commissions. You will be so glad you consign here. It was my first time going here and I loved it. Everyone was so cheerful, I felt i got a very warm welcome! I was helped by a man named Dionisio, he was very respectful, strong, well mannered, and hilarious. He joked with a long haired coworker about being ignored because he was "black" which I found very funny, and shows me that the workers here are very close like family. I recently needed to buy furniture and accessories for my new home. I usually buy thrift stores for my decor. This is no thrift store it is the best concept which is a pretty familiar concept already in place for decades. Misty's Consignments is fabulous. They have excellent choices for decorating every room. There are so many unique items. I found a trundle bed with new mattresses which I had forgotten about when I was a child sleeping on. I was ready to purchase a sofa sleeper. I saved 75% compared to what I was going to spend on one. My husband who doesn't like to shop found 2 canvas photo prints purchase at a 90% discount the price I was going to pay online for a similar print, same size! This place is really overwhelming. Rooms and rooms and rooms of items big and small. Everything I saw was quality, many things I saw were unique. Delivery available. 15% off each month an item is there. I could have spent WAY more time here, but they were closing. I contemplated about 6 items and ended up with 2. If I lived closer there were some fabulous pieces of furniture that would have been on my list as well. All the staff I saw were friendly. Another fine consignment establishment! If you need patio furniture, they seem to have the broadest selection of used patio furniture. They reduce the price by 15% each 30 days, which can be a substantial savings after a couple months, assuming someone doesn't snatch-up the item you have an eye on. Lots to choose from in a plentiful supply of large and little rooms. It's a maze. You can easily get lost, like a good museum, and the time will go by. Across the street from the Desert Patio Outlet, a great source for new high quality patio furniture, and within walking distance of the legendary Las Casuelas Nuevas, but those are other reviews. read more
