I was so impressed by my first visit with Dr. Leavitt. After excellent cleaning and X-rays by his stellar staff, Dr. Leavitt examined my teeth and came up with a treatment plan that was thoughtful and helpful and actually would save me money by cutting out an unnecessary procedure. I was initially referred to Mitch by my kids' pediatric dentist, and since then I have not only been seeing him for years, but have sent everyone I know in need of a dentist. His office is impeccably clean, and his work is just as impeccable. He's a menschy guy, a hard worker, and a joy to talk to. His staff is wonderful, from the hygienists to the receptionists. It's changed hands a couple of times, and dentists have changed, but every procedure I've had done here, from cleaning to an implant, has been excellent. Customer service is also great. Absolutely fantastic dentist, staff, and office. I started going to Dr. Levitt after years at an old, out-dated dentist's office and I couldn't be happier. Everything about their office is great: the waiting room is awesome with bottled water (sparkling and non) as well as a good selection of current magazines. Amanda and Michelle at the front desk are incredible: super fun to talk to, extremely helpful and just all around awesome people. I've had several different hygienists and all of them have been great...super accommodating and great at what they do. Dr Levitt is fantastic too... explains everything as he does it, very professional, and a great/funny personality too. All their equipment is up to date and they have plenty of new technology; they have a computer screen with each of your teeth and all the work that has been done to each one. I was referred to Dr. Levitt by a friend, as my former dentist had retired. Prior to coming to this office, I had been bouncing around dentists and hygienists and couldn't find a good fit. My experience with this office has been solid. The front office team was accommodating in terms of scheduling. The office is very modern and one of the nicest dental practices I've been to. The cleaning and first office visit were thorough and met my high expectations. Dr. Levitt pointed out issues with my teeth, gums and bite that hadn't been on my radar previously. I LOVE Dr. Enstedt! If he weren't my dentist, I would want him to be my friend! Just the kindest, warmest dentist you'll ever meet and he does GREAT work! Sadly, he is not in his office that much anymore and now, Dr. Levitt has taken over. Dr. Enstedt: 5 stars For people who have minor dental concerns, Dr. Levitt might be fine. For those of us with more major dental issues, Dr. Levitt is too anxious, uptight and his approach feels cold and critical. He is the opposite of calming, which feels terrible when major dental work looms ahead. If you ask me, he will put off people who are older than him (which is just about everyone) because he comes across as arrogant and condescending. He did not take the course in "learning how to talk to talk to your patients" which he NEEDS desperately, if he is planning to work with adult patients. Most people hate the dentist, but there's something really comforting about going to the same dentist for years, to the point where everyone knows your name and what you've been up to. The genuine care just makes the whole experience better. My entire family has been going to Dr. Levitt for years and we don't plan on changing that anytime soon. The best way I can describe how comfortable the experience is would be to say that when I left for college I always made sure I scheduled my visits home and my dentist appointments so they always matched up. I really hate going to the dentist! But Dr. Mitch Levitt is probably the best dentist I've ever had. I've been his patient now for almost 15 years, both for regular dentistry and orthodontia (Invisalign) and I can honestly say that he is extremely knowledgeable, up on all the latest techniques and treatments, very painless, patient, and genuinely personable. Additionally, his staff is terrific - smart, professional, and they know what they are doing. I feel safe in their hands for treatment. The office is very nice, great views, spotless, and very professional. Their whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. A friend recommended me to Dr. Levitt and I'm so glad she did. I've had other dentists in LA who were horrible and extremely painful, and I always felt like they were looking to perform treatments on me just to make money. Dr. Levitt is not like that. Listen anyone who says they love the dentist should have their head examined or their crackpipe confiscated. But there is a way to make this whole experience not fall into the "traumatic" category and Dr. Enstedt has found this way. His staff is amazing. The hours are a dream. He has a great manner and has no problem explaining things to you. Just don't park in the lot in the back unless you like throwing money out of your wallet. Find street parking. read more

There are a few doctor I trust.... And Dr. Levitt is one of them. He explains everything before he starts the work so you are not wondering what he is doing. Very transparent and full of knowledge. I am not fond of going to the dentist... But he makes you feel very comfortable which makes it much easier to visit. His office is incredibly clean... Almost like a museum. His office is also very high tech, futuristic Latest in all the new machines, x-rays, computers etc... The best of all, it doesn't smell like a dentist office.... You all know that smell... This is an excellent practice, everyone is really friendly and attentive, they will answer all your questions and work with your insurance plan so you are able to get the most out of it. I have never been to a practice that cares so much for their patients. Dr Levitt is amazing, he will answer all your questions with clear explanations and make sure you don't feel any pain. I have stopped my search for a good dentist in LA - Dr. Enstedt and his staff fit the bill. His staff do a great job at cleanings and Dr. Enstedt himself is just an all around really nice guy who knows what he's talking about. The hours are very accomodating of working folks - I believe that he has 7am and 8am appointments Monday through Thursday. I definitely recommend him and my entire family and many friends see him. There's street parking on 6th Avenue so bring change; the lot is unbelievably expensive. read more
