    Chili paneer

Quick service, sampling, and an expansive menu. This is a vegetarian's Heaven! We enjoyed the chili paneer (a little too spicy), chole bhatura (incredible flavor), and samosa chat (again a bit spicy).

Went there to get some good old Indian sweets and the food was great and authentic! The server was nice and considerate, the restaurant looked legit and clean. Would definitely recommend as it lives up to the name of its chain!!!

Came here with 3 other friends and it was a blast! We got multiple appetizers to share, the puri, Manchurian cauliflower, cheese bread are all so flavorful and fun to eat. I then got Chana curry with this puffy bread, the bread was amazing but the Chana is not as flavorful as those appetizer dishes. My friends got vanilla milk shake, dosas, and the special sandwich. The portions are HUGE and the sandwich was so well toasted and packed with flavor and spices. the service was fast and friendly and the decoration was homey and festive.

No offense to other fabulous North Indian specialty restaurants here in the Garden state, but Mithaas is the King of all. We've had very good experience both at the Edison and the Piscataway location and this one is no different. They have a great selection of sweets (Indian desserts), chaat items and main courses. Our most favorite is the Bhel puri which is second to none. The dishes here are really rich and creamy in taste, presented beautifully on the plate and explodes vividly in your mouth. The sweets are the best gifts you can get someone you are visiting as a family. They promptly advise you to finish them within few days as they are made of milk. Their customer service is also pretty decent and prompt. Parking is spacious and can never be a challenge.

If you are craving chaat , mithai and mouth watering vegetarian khanaa (food) Mithaas is the spot to try in NJ. The North Brunswick location is by far the best among their branches. Primarily because of the staff and the manager Mr. Hans, who are extremely attentive and handle the crowd well especially when there is a wait. Here are my favorites : Rabdi,,mini dry jamun and rasmalai among sweets , Vada Pav, Dahi Puri and Lucknowi Thaali on the savory side. Almost everything is to die for , so pick what appeals to you and I assure you you won't go wrong . Till next time .....

Upon entry, it looks a typical sit down restaurant; plenty of seating, side booths, and just enough lighting. The service was wonderful as I came in with a small group, approximately seven people including me. I would say that I would have liked it better if all of our orders were served at the simultaneously rather than have it served once the dish was ready. Here's what I ordered: -Mysore Masala Dosa -A much larger size than what I usually have. This savory crepe was folded in a triangular crepe-like shape rather than the traditional omelette kind. The filling was cooked well and once I dipped it in the sambar and chutneys, my taste buds were attacked by various flavors and spices. Individually, the dosa was decent and the sambar could have used a little more spice. I would have rather enjoyed more if they were also good by themselves and not in combination. -Spring Dosa -This was probably the least favorite thing I ordered. Presentation-wise, this looks they quickly sautéed some veggies and then rolled into the dosa. Alone, it was a little bland, so I had to constantly dip it into the sambar to get some taste. -Kadai Panner -Judging by the fact that it's called "Dosa Grill," I suspected that this dish would lean into more on the underwhelming side. Not sure how they made the gravy, but to me it felt more tomato forward than what was described on the menu. -Paneer Mysore Dosa -This was probably one of the best dosas I had. The paneer absorbed the masala so well that I could taste it from every bite I had. This was the only dish where I could say that the dosa itself tasted fantastic and I did not have to combine it with the sambar, which I a totally different experience itself. -Onion Chilli Utthapam -This is something I am very well familiar with growing up, so I wanted to see how they do. Knowing the base ingredients are similar to how one would make dosas, I figured it should hold up on the same bar. Much like the spring dosa, the experience with utthapam was better if it was eaten along side the sambar. By itself, all I tasted was onions and chilli and much else. I would have liked a little more spice in my opinion. Overall, I had a good time at Dosa Grill. If I had to pick one note, it would probably be not to hold back on the spices.

Could have been softer. All the flavor from the kothimbir was lost Vada Pav 3/5 - the vada was great, the pav was a disappointment. It was bun and not exactly pav. Too dry Puri bhaji 4/5 loved the bhaji (salt was less) the puri was okay. The Shrikhand was quite good Bhel Puri 3/5 was alright - nothing stood out positively or negatively about it. You could skip it. Pani Puri 2/5 - don't order it. You'll be disappointed if you did :/ Overall, I'd recommend going there if it has been a long time since you had Marathi food and are just craving it. It could be that this place is better for Malvani seafood and meat-based dishes but nothing extraordinary about the vegetarian food. Service was good and the place is tidy. Restrooms separate for male and female - maintained well. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza so plenty of free parking in the lot outside.
