It's definitely a beautiful place that on the outside you would not guess looks like this or possessed this ambiance! The service was very efficient and the food was pretty enjoyable Now, if im being honest, I would definitely come back for a celebration or date night but is not your casual spot to satisfy your actual sushi cravings, is more of a slow dinner kind of situation!

Maki Combos, Kani Salad, Rock Shrimp, Pork and Chicken Gyoza (Steamed)

Ordered for delivery. Well packaged. The Kani Salad on the dryer side (barely any sauce), but had lots of fresh cucumbers and imitation crab. It could definitely use more sauce, since I mostly just taste the imitation crab. The Rock Shrimp was also light on sauce, but the batter holds up. Shrimp is cooked well. It came with a side of plain salad, which makes it feel even dryer. Maybe get some ginger dressing on the side. The Pork and Chicken Gyoza (Steamed) doesn't travel that well. I image it would be better fresh, as the wrapper is thin. Good porky filling. The Any 3 Maki Roll combo was a good deal. The maki rolls do not have too much rice, which I like, though the rice is a bit chewy as it does not have much vinegar. Feels more like regular rice than sushi rice. The seafood is fresh and decent quality. I went with Tuna, Salmon, and Shrimp Avocado (which was more avocado than shrimp). Overall a little pricey for what you get, and the food was on the blander side. I'd rather get my sushi elsewhere.

Nice setting and good food. Nicely decorated dining room in an open space. Interesting decor made for lots of looking around. Service wasn't amazing but it was good. Everyone was friendly and responsive when we asked. Food was very good. Tartare three ways was excellent, one of my favorite dishes in a while. And it is a unique way of presenting tartare. Sushi four ways: salmon was another interesting and great dish. Nice to have four different preparations of my preferred fish instead of some I like and some I don't. For dessert the warm chocolate cake was nice, very rich and tasty, but dessert is t the strongest dishes here.

3.5 really. Went for restaurant week. What a great value. I think I ordered wrong... should have stuck to the sushi. I went for lunch. The portions are very generous. I got the fried rice with the tuna tartar and truffle. It was yummy, with a very subtle truffle scent. The rice balls were significantly larger than the amount of tuna on top. With that said, it was still delicious. The Mongolian beef was only slightly better than that you would get at a fat food Chinese store... so don't be like me, order something that makes more sense. The fried red snapper was surpassing as it was many filets of fish. They were well cooked, but overpowered by the sauce, which was just okay. The millet had citrus in it, so i personally wasn't a fan. The lava cake was good. The meal also came with a glass of house wine. Infective Incredible value, great quantity, I will go back and actually order sushi..

Decent spot for sushi maki lunch and bento boxes. My eel avocado was tasty but a little skimpy on the fish. The salmon and yellowtail was good. The tuna could be better. The bento boxes was great. I liked both the hibachi salmon and the teriyaki salmon. Portions are not bad, and I liked both that it came with mini cheese cake bites for dessert.

Wonderful meal with attentive service. Only down side was the Rock Shrimp Tempura not being a true tempura or it was downed in sauce. Still tasty but not what I expect when ordering tempura.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Mito. The staff greeted us immediately when we arrived and our waitress was quite attentive, which we appreciated. The vibe and atmosphere was great for a date night, special occasion or a family dinner. The drinks were very tasty. I had a coconut cocktail (I can't remember the name), which was DELICIOUS!! Regarding food we had the following things: rock shrimp tempura, petit filet mignon, black diamond roll with foie gras, bluefin tuna crudo, black truffle wagyu fried rice, scallop truffle canapes, miso sea bass in pumpkin puree and green tea crepe cake for dessert. We especially loved the petit filet mignon, black diamond roll with foie gras, and bluefin tuna crudo. The reason I dropped a star in my rating is due to a couple of the plates were slightly disappointing. We did not think the pumpkin puree went well with the miso sea bass. We would've preferred the dish without the puree. We thought the wagyu fried rice was a little lackluster. And, I've had better green tea crepe cakes elsewhere. This cake was a little denser than I expected. In any case, we really enjoyed our experience overall and plan to come back to try out more of Mito's menu.

it has been a while since I came here and I did not remember what I loved about the place. So, I just ordered with my heart and I wound up ordering the same things. I ordered six years ago when I used to come here all the time with an ex boyfriend. We got the lobster guacamole with scallion pancake as an appetizer. We also ordered a side of chips to go with it. This is such a delicious thing. It's worth a trip to this restaurant just for this appetizer. I was driving and my friend ordered a drink. I took one sip of it just to see what it tasted like. It was so yummy. It was their version of an old-fashioned. A buttery old-fashioned. We ordered three rolls to share. We got a yellow tail scallion roll, a mango Hawaii roll and another roll that I forgot the title of, but it says something about the number four. Everything was really delicious. We really loved loved loved that mango Hawaii roll. Simple perfection. I will definitely be coming back real soon. The place is beautiful and the staff is excellent. Our waitress Maggie was perfect. She was helpful and very nice. What a great experience all around. We left with big smiles and were very very satisfied.

I've been past this place several times & finally decided to give it a try. First time around , Drinks I had a Lychee Martini, hubby a Coconut saketini both very good nice & strong. We started with the Scallion pancakes they were so good we also had a Mito roll this was great. Main meal we tried Petite filet & the Mongolian chicken , both very good nice tasting steak as well as the chicken good tasting sauce. Next time around we came with some friends , Wonton soup was good .. on the Rolls Fantastic four, good combination. The seared tuna & shrimp tempura both good as well. Very good Mongolian beef & General Tao's chicken, good with the rice. Nice looking place, service was good & prices are reasonable, we enjoyed our time & meal here.

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening was Michael, our sushi chef. He was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every course, the origin of the fish, the flavors, and the best way to enjoy each piece. His passion for his craft was evident, and his attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

They were grilled and seasoned well. I really liked the Fried Kaki (aka kaki fry, fried oysters). The breaded oysters were tender, fresh & juicy. We also shared Chicken Yakiudon, Yakiniku Don & Pork Katsu Don. The yakiudon was very good and the katsu was crispy and generously sized. I did not like the sauce on the beef in yakiniku don. I have eaten at very high end sushi restaurants and am almost 50 years old. I have never had a $60 hamachi kama. This one wasn't even tasty!!! It was not good or flavorful. Tasted like they just defrosted and microwaved it. I was wondering why i kept hearing a microwave go off but realized after the fact that that's what they must have done. I did not complain. We paid the bill. We left. Later that night I had stomach issues. Nicest way I can put that. I will say that i ate almost nothing that day so I can only attribute the stomach issues to the sushi. Needless to say we will not be back.

Our daughter took us here while we were visiting NY for her graduation for Wagyu Shabu. I normally…read moredon't like places with many prices, but since our daughter chose it so we enjoy with her. The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.

We went on a weekday with a party of 8 and had a 6:15 PM reservation. The restaurant seemed…read moreshort-staffed when we arrived, although it wasn't very busy. Service improved later as more staff came on shift. The beef was decent, and we chose the mid-tier menu. For the price--over $100 per person including tax and tip--the selection felt somewhat limited. I also wasn't a fan of sharing one large hot pot. I prefer individual pots, which I've had at same chain in California. The decor and service were both decent, but nothing stood out. We were split into two tables of four even though I noticed a private room that remained unused during our visit. Overall, the experience was okay, but I don't think it was worth the price.

We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service was good, and the seating was comfortable. The restaurant filled up while we were eating, which shows how popular it is. I tried their sushi for the first time and ordered the keizen don bowl. The raw fish was extremely fresh, the assortment was excellent, and the special tea-flavored seasoned rice added a unique touch. The portion was generous, and I left satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back.

We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and King Crab Ikura Don over cold tochucha noodles. I thought the ramen was just mediocre and the chashu was very hard to chew. The noodles was pretty good. There was a good amount of ikura, king crab, and avocado included. I originally wanted the Sashimi Set but they didn't have uni that day. They would have just subbed it with something else so I didn't think it was worth the $55. I also tried the Tochucha Yuzu Lemonade which was good but not amazing. I didn't know what all the hype was over tochucha because it wasn't very memorable for me. Tonkotsu Ramen 6/10 King Crab Ikura Don 8/10 Tochucha Yuzu Lemonade 7/10

And this Asian fusion spot stands up among others in Queens Blvd. First it was super cute since. Big leather booths, with dim lighting. The menu went on for day and was pretty intimidating. They had katsu and curry which I almost went for but the spicy coconut noodles were calling my name. I am getting ahead of myself. That was the main event. Before that we had rock shrimp, which were HUGE. The spicy mayo made my nose run. I wasn't made about it. The star of the night was the dinosaur egg appetizer. Spicy tuna and salmon hugged by avocado and surrounded by shaved carrot. This literary was the best of the night. We got the Pacific roll, and although good it did not live up to our massive dinosaur egg that exceeded our expectations. Shout out to the servers for not rushing us out. Also the bathroom was solid! Clean, two gender neutral bathrooms that were both surprisingly nice sizes. All in all, a surprisingly good find! Would definitely come back!
