We recently picked up a couple of slices, and a cookie at RAM. It had been too long since we've had Mixed Fillings and I was able to try a new flavor, 99 Problems but Nutella ain't one. As always the crew at RAM is happy and eager to serve. They're going to sell out so make sure you try before 1PM. While I miss going to their 5 Points shop, their tent at RAM is a great addition. It's tough to call my favorite. They're all excellent but I do highly recommend you try the 99 problems but Nutella ain't one pie. So rich, just the right amount of sweet, and that Oreo crust is amazing. I didn't even know they did cookies, but we tried one. If you can do pies this well, cookies must be easy. It's was amazing. I've patronized this business three times. Each time I have felt the pies were just ok and that the customer service was lacking. Two times I felt the business was unorganized and the lady had an unfriendly attitude for no reason at all. Getting some pie slices for my hubby for his birthday weekend while at RAM. I happily also picked up one of the chocolate chip cookies I have seen on their socials but never had. Is there anything they do that is not next level? I was never a pie person and Mixed Fillings changed that. It's not just a slice of pie, it's layered flavors that so perfectly complement each other. My husband shared a bite of his 99 Problems but Nutella Ain't One, the chocolate and mascarpone with that delicious Oreo crust (and I don't normally like Oreos), wow! 1. Key lime hands-down, one of the best Keylime pies that I have ever had. The crust was buttery, but it also had like a granola with pecans in it. Oh my God it was absolutely delicious. The key lime was the perfect balance of citrusy but very creamy as well. Absolutely loved it five out of five stars. I've never had anything like it. 2. Pecan. At first I was afraid because I felt like I just paid seven dollars for a slice of store-bought pecan pie from appearance. However, after biting into it, it certainly was not your store-bought pecan pie. Perfect balance of not too sweet, but still a little salty the molasses the toasted pecans. It was all perfect. The crust was your standard crest. Nothing spectacular about that one like the Keylime, but it was very very good. The service was excellent. You cannot go inside the building. For once, I don't have a lot to say because there are only so many words you need to say "some of the best pies you'll ever eat". Hmm...just eight words, it seems. Everything I've ever had from Mixed Fillings has been great -- not just good, great. Everyone I've encountered with the business has been incredibly kind, too. What makes the pies stick out most for me are the crusts. I'm a bit picky about pie crusts -- they need to not be bland but not overpower the filling, and they have to be firm enough to hold up but not so firm as to be unpleasant to slice through or eat. Mixed Fillings nails this. I'm writing this as I take my last few bites of a delicious buttermilk blueberry pie, and I'm already thinking about what I want to purchase next. read more

Mixed Fillings had a booth at the Riverside Arts Market, and I was thrilled to try a pie from one of the most iconic pie shops in the country via Food & Wine. The hardest part was narrowing it down to one slice, but I managed, selecting the Black Bottom Pie. A nod to Black History Month, this key lime pie had an Oreo crust and torched meringue, making it extra special. 10/10 read more

Sometimes self-care comes in the form of deliciousness. My only complaint is that I usually can't get to a Mixed Fillings location or pop-up prior to them selling out for the day, but that's a yay for them and a sad for me. I really don't know where to begin this review because this place is so overwhelmingly phenomenal that if I start with the pies, I'm missing out on the customer service if I start with customer service I'm missing out on the quaint shop that is very warm and inviting and if I start on that, then I forget about the artwork that's for sale. So as you can tell, there's a lot going on in very small place. I will start with the owners a wife and husband team, who truly put their heart and soul into these pies. They have created very cute names (Sienfeld must have been a favorite show) for each of their pies have a creative title (one of them should be named "no pie for you"). They're very artistically displayed and slices prepared to the side . You can tell from the first bite they use real butter and only the freshest ingredients. Of the four pieces that we purchased for sampling the crème brûlée was by far my favorite! Rich with flavor, sweetness to the last bite this one is one to last for all season! The apple pie was very good, maybe a little more sweetness to it, but it was great. The maple pie was exceptionally sweet. If you do not have a sweet tooth this one is not for you. However the crust was phenomenal. Finally the peach pie. I'm not a big peach fan but my aunt loved it. My uncle really enjoyed it and I would say it wasn't bad, if only I liked peaches. But again their crust is out of this world. When you walk in your greeted by the wife, who has the most genuine smile, and is most gracious and welcoming you to what is like her home. While she is busy in the front providing outstanding customer service, her husband is to the side working in the bakery, making pies that are just out of this world. They make a great team and you can tell they truly enjoy what they're doing! To bring a sense of community, they have various pieces of artwork for sale by local artists. I believe this is a phenomenal touch to embrace the community add artwork while they share their own artwork, the artwork of pie making. Overall, this is definitely a place. This was my first visit to their location on Park St. Their previous location was fun, but I loved being able to see Chef Natasha in action. I was warmly greeted by her cousin upon entering & picked up my order from her hubby at the end of the counter. I recognized them from their social media posts and it really added to the cozy vibe inside the beautiful shop. Wow wow wow!! I actually am not that big into pie but Mixed Fillings makes such delicious pies it's dangerous! I would for sure be ordering pies from them often if I lived in the area. I tried both the beach don't kill my vibe which is a coconut cream pie topped with a coating of chocolate and their crème brûlée pie. The crème brûlée pie was so cool because the crackling sugar top added great texture to the pie. They were both so perfect I can't decide on a favorite. The pie shop was cutely decorated and the staff that we interacted with were friendly. The slices are $7 each. They have an option for pie flights as well. A whole pie varies around $40. I had Mixed Fillings on my radar for a while and finally got a chance to stop in on a recent trip to Jacksonville. It is so worth a visit! The shop is very cute with greenery and cozy vibes. But the best part is the case filled with sweet and savory pie selections. I opted for a 6-slice pie flight because I couldn't pick just one flavor! It was such a fun way to sample the various options. I took home slices of creme brulee, blueberry, cookies and cream, peanut butter chocolate, banana cream and key lime. Each one was lighter than I expected - not too sweet, just the perfect amount. I highly recommend this spot to satisfy your sweet tooth with a slice or to pick up a full pie for a special occasion. Ordered: Cookies and Dreams Key Lime Sugar Creme Brûlée Apple of my Pie Taste: Oreo takes like the actual cookie and was silky and smooth. Surprisingly did not have a chalky texture or aftertaste. Very impressive and delicious. Apple of My Pie was bomb.com. I was expecting it to be overly sweet and it was not which was a welcomed surprise. The crumb topping was fire and the crust is flaky. You can buy by the slice or by the pie. So my friend & I purchased several slices to go as we were going to be kind & share with our spouses. HIGHLY recommend their Creamsicle pie (seasonal I think?) which was perfect for someone like me who dislikes fruit/jammy pies-- I loved this fruit pie since it was a more vanilla-y creamy pie with notes of fruity fragrant citrusy flavor. And as a chocolate lover, I highly recommend anything "French Silk" from here; this first time I bought the only one available which was the OK, Boomer pie. I've never been a huge pie person but Mixed Fillings Pie changed my mind. I've been here countless times and every time I have guest in town, I make sure I bring them here. It's super cute here. You walk through a little alley and ring a bell to get service. I want to say I've tried a good number of the pies here. The mousse ones are my favorite. Peanut butter & jealous, a whole latte pie, I've got 99 problems but Nutella ain't one and cookies & dreams are some of my favorites. All sweet pies that are always good the next day. The key lime pie is also super delicious! The other pies I've tried are yummy but not my preference when it comes to pie. My friend got me the ultimate flight for my birthday. She had called in to ask if they could write happy birthday on the box for me and they came through and was super sweet when I picked up. I believe you can't pick and choose your pies with the ultimate flight. If you're planning a trip, I would go early on the weekends because they get busy and they sell out quick. The savory pies always sell within the hour that they open in my experience so I haven't gotten the chance to try chicken pot pie yet. Also be sure you have a lot of time on holidays because the line get long! Totally worth it but I think I waited an hour on pi day. OMG! I fell in love with this place after one bite. Hubby picked up a couple slices for us to share. He arrived around 2 pm and there was already a limited selection. We still got 2 great flavors. Blurred Limes - best key lime pie slice I've ever had! Slight tartness, perfect consistency, fresh whipped cream and epic pretzel crust. Worth trying if you think key lime pie is usually too tart. The Moon Pie - smooth, chocolatey, marshmallowy, epic pretzel crust. S'mores and chocolate pie fans, get this one! I recommend both of these and honestly couldn't pick a favorite. Lovely spacious space with bar seating and a few comfy chairs to sit and indulge on the delectable pies made by these artisans. Rather than getting a cake we decided to come here and celebrate a birthday. You can't go wrong with their rich Key Lime Pie. We experienced Mixed Fillings Pie Shop for our first time and we were excited just looking at the pies in their cases. This is a female owned family business that makes some tasty pies with creative recipes. Today we ordered three slices and they were: Beach Don't Kill My Vibe (coconut cream with a chocolate ganache topping, whipped cream and flaky crust) and Chill Don't Cross the Lime ( Spiced Cranberry sauce, lime custard, whipped cream, pretzel brown sugar crust) and lastly, OK Boomer (Old Fashioned toasted pecan crust is filled with decadent French silk and topped with an espresso whipped cream). Slices are around $7 and whole pies are $40. They even offer a pie flight which is several slices of pie that make up a whole pie for $40. The pies we tried are magnificent and well worth not only the price but worth a three hour drive from Orlando to experience this exceptional emporium of super tasty pie heaven. The staff member that assisted us is a cousin of the owner and she was awesome, friendly and very helpful. We have many more pies to try so a future visit is planned.
