I stopped in here during Brooklyn Park Restaurant Week where they're running a $6.49 for their hibachi or teriyaki chicken plates special. At that price, it's really great value for money, and that's what's kicking this up from a 3 to a 4 star review. So consider this a 3 star restaurant with 4 star value. 1) I honestly could not tell the difference between the hibachi and teriyaki chicken aside from that one came with broccoli and the other with mushrooms. I did not detect much if any teriyaki flavor and both just seemed like hibachi style. 2) Chicken was a bit dry and definitely needed the shrimp sauce and sriracha, which up'd it quite a bit. 3) Fried rice was extremely improved by being mixed with the shrimp sauce, otherwise it was very similar to what you might get at something like a Panda Express. 4) The sweet carrots were soft, sweet, and very tasty. If you do bring this home, make sure you have some actual soy sauce in the fridge. While they provide real sriracha, they skimp on the soy sauce and give you those clear packets with a panda on the front that are literally just salt water with food coloring. That's always disappointing for me to see. read more

Wow! What a find and I'm completely in love with Miyabi Grill! Miyabi Grill offers yummy Japanese street food for take out. I have been craving authentic true Japanese Yaki Soba (Japanese stir-fried noodles) forever....and was I excited to find it here! The Yaki Soba (noodles ) is SUPER YUMMY! I have ordered both the Chicken Yaki Noodles and the Steak Yaki Noodles. The noodle dishes come with plenty of veggies and meat..Oh, and the lobster special sauce...soooo delightful! If you want delicious restaurant style hibachi food for half the price, look no further. My first impression of Miyabi Grill wasn't that great. I ordered online and it said my order would be ready in 5-10 minutes. I walked in and ended up waiting around for 20ish minutes. They were slammed that evening. I finally got my food (steak yaki) and wasn't too satisfied - the noodles were so oily and drenched in butter and only got very few steak pieces. But I went a second time because the reviews were good. I had a better experience partly because they weren't as busy. My food came out so good. It had the right amount of butter and I got more meat this time around. I recommend going when it's not busy, do early dinner or late lunch to get the best quality. It's a takeout place - there are no tables, just a lobby for ordering and waiting for food. read more

If you are ever in the Brooklyn Park or surrounding area Miyabi Grill is a place you MUST stop at for some delicious food. Its located in the strip mall next to Cub. There is plenty of shared parking. This place is take out only, but the wait is not too long for your delicious food. When you walk in you are greeted by the joyful and amazing staff. No worries, everyone is masked up and the staff ensures everything is clean and sanitized. Stopped by for their soft opening, I could have ordered the entire menu, but I decided to go with the steak and scallops. Steak and scallops came with sweet carrots, fried rice, and their famous sauce, $14.99. Ok, Benihana can move on over, I have retired you!!!! Food is made fresh to order, and super affordable. You get a lot for the price. The steak was super juicy and cooked perfectly. Scallops were AMAZING. Everything complemented perfectly. Now let us not forget about the sauce, this sauce is a MUST! So i am always on the lookout for new places to eat seeing as i am greedy lol and ran across this place on yelp and i have to say that its a real find. i got the steak and shrimp combo and it came with a drink. The food came fairly fast and now that i am home eating it it is really good. This place is a great alternative to Osaka or Benihanas its a lot cheaper and faster with about the same quality of food. Its not all good though as my combo only came with 5 shrimp but thats nitpicking them. For my first visit i came away fully satisfied so i cant complain to much. I should have got the special with steak chicken and shrimp for 18 buck but its lunch time and im not that hungry maybe next time. Oh the prices are very reasonable anywhere from 9 bucks to 24 bucks. The food is always good....but PLEASE STOP SKIMPING OUR PLATES!! If there's no refunds and Miyabi is "not responsible for our mistakes", we should at least receive our full order, not half! It makes me not want to keep supporting this business, I feel robbed.. Every time I order I notice less and less food on the plate.. a $30 total for $15 worth of food :( read more

This little restaurant is near my home, and I had a craving for Asian food. There is a limited menu, but they had what I wanted. I ordered Vegetable Yaki. The vegetables were mostly zucchini, with a few broccoli florets, carrots, and a small amount of other veggies. It is served with noodles (for a dollar less you can get fried rice) and a small portion of sweet cooked carrots. Also on the side was a sauce that they call Shrimp sauce. All was tasty except for the shrimp sauce, which tastes like a half ketchup/ half mayo invention. No shrimp were detected. Overall the vegetable Yaki was good, worth the $9.99 I paid. I was disappointed to see that they serve in styrofoam, an environmental nightmare. There is no place to sit other than a few stools to sit on while you wait, so all food is takeout. The sweet carrots are tasty-- not cloyingly sweet as I expected. I would go here again, although for the money there are several other Asian restaurants in the area where I could also get noodles and vegetables. read more

Miyabi is so good. I've had everything and my favorites are scallops, steak, chicken, katsu sandwich, and wings. Taste as good as benihana, if not better. Good comes out fast fast 5-10min, so if you order online or takeout, make sure to come quick if you want it fresh. read more

I've been here a few times. The first time was great, I got the steak and shrimp. They had good pieces of steak that was chunky and well cooked. But the last time that I went there, they totally went cheap on the steak and shrimp which is a bummer when you're paying $13-$14 bucks for a plate. Wonder why they went that route. The steak was just little pieces of beef and just a few shrimp. Portion was so small for the amount you're paying and I hate to compare, but if I had to, I'd get 2x the portion for cheaper from Panda Express lol, and that's not even asking for that much. I work in the City of Brooklyn Park and this is my new favorite place for lunch. I usually go there once a week and usually get the steak and shrimp although I have had the scallops as well.
