Located in a ghost kitchen so seating is limited. The service is great. They answered all of our questions and gave recommendations. The crab rangoon was pretty sweet and not what I expected at all. The creamy broth had amazing flavor but they give way too many noodles. I would have preferred less noodles and more broth.

The only halal ramen I know of, and I'm over the moon. I'm not a ramen expert but they nailed it. The people who own it are very kind, so please don't be shy about coming in. There are three separate establishments working within the same space, so just let the worker know you're there for Miyabi (or just ramen) and they will get you sorted.

Broth flavor and noodles were great. The broth was rich in flavor and the noodles were very well made and soft. Will definitely be coming back

Current store front is shared with Lynda's African Delicacies. We almost missed this place!

I am so glad we kept calling them because the Ramen was Honolu Ramen good. They had three broth types (creamy chicken, spicy red, and yuzu). They had a lot options you would expect from a ramen shop but they give you a lot! The chicken chashu was 5-6 pieces, which is a lot (along with everything else). I no longer need to travel for halal Ramen. It's a 15-20 minute drive away now, and it's top-notch to boot. The service was great as well. I didn't get a picture of the meatball skewers but they were amazing as well. Definitely recommend! LOCATION: there is no signage yet! It's in Unit J and ask for Miyabi Ramen

    Red broth with chicken meatballs

I ordered the red broth (extra spicy with extra garlic) and it was so delish. I could definitely taste the spice, but I didn't find it to be very spicy despite the fact that I chose the spiciest option. The chicken meatballs were delicious and tasted better than the chicken chashu in my opinion but that's just because I don't like my meat to be on the sweeter side. Overall, the portion size was great and I really love how flavorful the broth was!! I'm so happy that everything in the menu is halal -- I'll definitely come back and give their other ramen options a try :)

The food was really good! There aren't many halal ramen places around, so this spot was definitely worth trying. The portions are generous, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. The owner was Muslim, which gave me extra confidence that everything was halal. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

A Legendary Slurp - Gone But Never Forgotten It is a true…read moretragedy for the Orange County food scene that Hakata Ikkousha in Costa Mesa has closed its doors. This wasn't just a "ramen joint"--it was a masterclass in authentic Fukuoka-style soul food. The Broth: Liquid Gold The standout was always their Signature Tonkotsu broth. You could literally taste the 30+ hours of labor that went into it. It had that distinct "frothy" texture (the bubble of the bone marrow) that you only find in high-end Hakata shops. It was rich, creamy, and carried a deep umami funk without ever being overly greasy. The Hits * Black Tonkotsu: The roasted garlic oil (mayu) added a smoky, dark complexity that ruined all other garlic ramens for me. * God Fire: For those who like to sweat, this offered the perfect balance of heat without sacrificing the integrity of the pork flavor. * The Karaage: Genuinely some of the best fried chicken in the area. Massive, juicy thigh meat with a shattering, thin crust and that addictive spicy mayo on the side. * Customization: I loved that they let you pick your noodle firmness. "Hard" was the only way to go to ensure that perfect snap with every bite. The Atmosphere The Costa Mesa location always had a great energy--functional, clean, and unpretentious. The staff were always efficient, greeting everyone with a loud "Irasshaimase!" that made the experience feel truly authentic. It's heartbreaking to see such a high-caliber spot leave the neighborhood. If you were lucky enough to eat here, you know we lost a heavy hitter. To the team at Ikkousha: thank you for the memories and the best bowls in the city. You'll be sorely missed! Note: For those still craving that specific broth, their Torrance locations are still holding it down--definitely worth the drive to keep the dream alive. Come back to OC! !

It's a little tight inside too with the tables located near each other. We came on a Monday during the lunch hour. We originally had plans to eat somewhere else, but it was too long of a wait and we decided to have Ramen instead. I think due to our party of six, it was a little harder to be seated, but it wasn't a big deal. We checked in and we were informed by Justin that it wouldn't take too long for our table to be ready as the other family who was at the larger table was already eating their food. Great! We meandered around in the center and walked inside Daiso and Mitsuwa market and already thinking about where we would be eating next time. We received a text when our table was ready about 30 minutes later. The nice lady who took our order was friendly, sweet, smiling and made us feel welcomed. We all ended up ordering different Ramen bowls, and curry with rice. We also shared the large fried chicken and furikake french fries. I'll have to try that at home next time! Everyone enjoyed their choices. I tried the light Kitakata ramen this time because I usually always get miso or Tonkotsu. The light broth was easier for me to handle and I was able to adjust the spice level with condiments on the table. I also used some of the chili spices from my family members. As usual, the chewy bouncy noodles were enjoyed by everyone. We will be back!

We were told to just sit in the corner. No one talked to us. When I asked for a straw, it was kinda just thrown at us. More upsetting was when I was ordering, I just asked for a large mentaiko mazemen, which would just be a $1 increase charge. The waiter read it back as a deluxe mazemen which is a $2.50 charge and comes with extra stuff that I didn't really want. I corrected him and he said that the large is a deluxe, which I believe is incorrect based on my past times coming here and ordering the mazemen. I didn't fight him anymore because maybe I was wrong, but it came out and it was in fact the deluxe. Overall, the food was delicious as always. I am sure I will be back again, but it was extremely disappointing and frustrating dining experience.

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!
