Weekend special - halwa puri - delicious!!!!!!!
    Ani J.

This is a Pakistani restaurant with some delicious Pakistani food. As a vegetarian, you have a couple of options. And on the weekend, you have the halwa puri thali. This comes with chola (chickpeas), Aaloo (potato), and sweet halwa with two big fried puris. The food was delicious. I loved both the chola and the Aaloo sabzi. And the halwa was good too. My husband loved the Haleem. We also got the Falooda, which was delicious. The ambience is decent and there is ample seating inside. You order the food at the counter, pay up, and they bring the food to you. Nothing fancy but great place to try if you are in the mood for Haleem, Nihaari, or just halwa puri.

Went here last weekend before going to lumo. This was one of the places that did not close around mid day and re-opened after 4 pm. Since time was not on our side, we picked this one. No regrets The food was delicious, we ordered butter chicken with bullet Naan, chicken biryani with chili garlic Naan, two mango Lassi, and Kulfi Falooda for dessert. The biryani was medium spicy, and the butter chicken was spicy hot. Overall, I loved the service. The music playing in the background just made it much better. Everyone has different expectations for places, I had no expectations. I just wanted a mango lassi, and I received that and much more.

I've had their biryani, asked for spicy. And I came back and tried their weekday lunch buffet. For the biryani, the rice texture is good and not mushy. Did not meet my expectations in spice, or flavor in general. The chicken, which was bone-in seemed to take all the flavor and not flow over to the rice, and is not a style of biryani I enjoy. But the chicken is good and the portions are astronomical. The buffet, as you can see from the video, is slightly limited in options. And I feel it's priced fairly. My favorites were Aloo Baigan, and mutton korma. Last time I came, they had baigan bharta, and I love anything eggplant related. The whole front wall is a window, so there's good natural lighting. And the walls are light but not white, so the light reflection is pleasant and has a homey feel. 4 stars, would come again.

Decided to have lunch here with my mom and wife and it was a great time. There's plenty of seating and parking outside so that's awesome. We got the lahori halwa paratha, lamb roll, and nihari. Food came out within 20 mins and the people working were nice. My favorite was the nihari, the beef was cooked perfectly, and super tender. You could've used a spoon to eat it. My lamb roll wasn't spicy or gamey which I loved. The paratha was solid too, with tasty chickpeas and halwa. I have a sweet-tooth and got a thick mango lassi, which tasted like real ripe mangos were used to make it. Overall, it was a very enjoyable time.

Thursday 8/1/2024 Was in the mood for some Indian food so I made a Postmates/uber eats delivery order for the goat biryani, chicken chengazi rumali roll, roti, butter chicken (with rice), and garlic naan. All the items were packaged nicely and safely. - It was my first time having goat biryani (first time having biryani in general) and it was alright but nothing impressive. The goat was seasoned well and the rice was okay. - The chicken chenagzi rumali roll was my favorite item. It was flavorful and tasty but my only downside is that it was definitely smaller than I expected. It was complimented well by both of the sauces that come with it but the green sauce made the best pairing. - I'm new to roti and I'd say it's kinda similar to a tortilla. On its own it's nothing special (rating 6/10) but when it's paired with other foods (like the butter chicken) it becomes very good (rating 8.2/10). - The butter chicken was decent but I've definitely had better. Also having to deal with bones in the chicken was annoying but it is what it is since that's the only way they serve their butter Chicken. As a rating I'd give a solid 7.8/10. - The garlic naan was pretty disappointing and I've had plenty better. It didn't have that garlic taste that I come to expect from garlic naan. Overall, this was a pretty solid Indian spot and I would definitely recommend it and advise you to try the rolls (especially the chicken chengazi rumali roll which was one of my favorites).

My first visit to Miyaji was an interesting experience. This is a counter order seat yourself establishment. There were service trays setup in front giving the confusion that there was a buffet option. The employee who explained this wasn't an option was difficult to understand. I got the hint and went to the counter to order where I heard they had another issue with a phone order being duplicated. The second counter guy exclaimed that since the client completed the web order the. Duplicated it by phone they were obligated to pay for both. I sat back and waited for the show. I ordered a samosa appetizer and a lamb Roll. The samosas were excellent!!! Huge and tasty with a green sauce and a sweet brown sauce. The roll was a Mediterranean burrito and I loved it too! Huge tasty and really delicious. When my order arrived there was another customer fiasco where a woman who was waiting for table service had a meltdown and her husband joined in. Nobody addressed them and gave them the rundown. On the other hand the lady saw me and at least 2 other customers go to the counter so the customer service issue wasn't one sided. My overall review here is the dining area is just okay not bad but far from good. The customer service is whacky and could use some refining. The food was good, prices were fair and the portions are ample. Go get some of their tasty middle eastern food but get ready for lackluster customer service.

The food is wonderful! I've had the rumali rolls (chicken and lamb),samosas ( veggie), and the chicken karahi- my absolute Factory favorite at the moment. They add just the right amount of kick to the karahi so if you don't like heat in any amount, stay away from this dish. The service was prompt ( I haven't been inside physically yet) but from what I'm told they are friendly. If you're looking for Halal, you've found it. Don't allow the prices to shy you away. Most people pay this much and more at fast food restaurants. Put something in your body that promotes well-being.

Haleem, Lamb Tak-tak Roll, Chicken Samosa

My wife and I tried this new restaurant in our area and we were pleasantly surprised. Our order as a cautionary first only had three items: the weekend special Haleem, appetizer Chicken Samosa, and a Lamb Tak-tak Roll. This is how we rated them: Chicken samosa 4.5/5: for $6, this appetizer was awesome! There were two pieces and each were filled with meat! The crunchiness of the surface was simply amazing. Best yet, the samosa combined with the rice and naan added even more layers and flavors to each bite! This was a great dish! Lamb Tak-tak Roll: 4.5/5: I gave this dish a rating closer to 5 and my wife gave this a 4 flat so let's take the average here. The picture of the roll as shown below does not do the dish much justice. I'm not skilled enough of a photographer to capture the entire width and depth of the roll! For $12, there are plenty of lamb, veggie, and sauce within the dough! Best yet, each bite was so scrumptious! I even poured a bit of Haleem on there and the dish leveled up even more! So why is this dish not a 5 you wonder? Well, the roll tasted slightly better with a drizzle of Haleem on each bite. As a stand-alone, 4.5 is right where this dish has positioned itself. Haleem, $18: my wife gave the dish a range of 2-4 (varied widely by bite and by which dish combined with the Haleem) and I rated this dish a 3.0-4.0. Honestly, this dish is weird as a stand-alone but because it is accompanied by rice and naan, this dish probably has a ceiling of a 4/5. Essentially, the Haleem bowl is beef stew but with plenty of wheat and only hints of beef. It's basically meat/beef flavored porridge. The mush doesn't look presentable at all but magic is created when slathered on rice and naan and lamb roll. The porridge made all other carbs taste twice if not thrice as good. Another part about this dish that confused me was the long slices of ginger in the dish. As a porridge, the ginger accentuates and elevates the dish immensely. However, if I accidentally bite the ginger, my mouth wants to kill me. So the problem presents the question, "why not mince the garlic or purée it and mix the ingredient evenly in the porridge?" Finally, the weirdest part of Haleem is the wording on its website, "Thick stew of beef, pounded wheat, lentils, butter, ginger-garlic, and spices." Where is the beef Other than the Haleem, the takeout experience was pretty good!

Recently, we were in the mood for some good kebabs and Pakistani food and looked up Miyaji Kebab and Rumail Rolls and decided to give this place a shot. Parking was easy to find in the shopping strip and the restaurant was lightly busy during our visit for a weekday lunch date with my wife! The restaurant has a nice ambiance and welcoming decor. They also have a decent selection of appetizers and main courses to choose from. We ordered the following: Lamb Taka-Tak Roll - the Rumali roti was soft and fresh. The filling of lamb cooked well and was soft and tender. Chicken Biryani - This was a generous portion of the biryani. The rice was cooked perfectly and not sticky. There was a nice portion of the chicken as well and the flavors and taste were good as well. For dessert we ordered the Shahi Tukda. This was a bit of a miss - the dish tasted good but the bread was a bit too mushy for our liking. Overall a nice restaurant for Pakistani food!

Miyaji Kebab & Rumali Rolls is just average rated only because it's Indian takeout. I only gave this place three stars because the food tastes average and we ordered a good amount of food. We got the beef kabobs, chicken karahi, chicken tandoori, and Aloo Paneer. It was also ok for the price. The part I did not like was the service or lack of service since you do have to bus your own table if you decide to dine in. And there are so many little signs that say "throw away your trash in the trash box" or "do not throw away spoon or basket." The only dish I actually enjoyed was the naan and Aloo Paneer. But I'm not sure I would visit again, which is a shame because they have only been open for three months so far.

We noticed this restaurant during our regular outing to HomeGoods, having passed by and never noticing before now. The restaurant is on Quince Orchard, but behind McDonalds and the sign is partially blocked by the tents of the establishment next door, so it's not an obvious location. The interior is nicely decorated, with high exposed ceilings and gold metal drum pendant lights. We ordered Haleem, Butter Chicken, Chicken kebab Rumali roll, and Naan. The food was all tasty, but the Butter chicken was amazing. The meat is served on the bone, but it falls right off when you eat it. The food is fairly priced and well portioned. The meat is Halal. The Staff is attentive and the food came out quickly and very fresh. We hope to return.

Excellent food and takeout service. Still eating the buttered chicken and garlic Naan due to the generous portion. Reasonably priced.

He was even happy to speak in Russian to them the whole time. Their ambience and service is wonderful. Food choices are very authentic and full of flavor. Even if you've never eaten Russian/Uzbek food, I highly recommend you try it out. Their portion sizes are great as well. And they have so many choices. You can even tell that all is made fresh. We ordered plov, manti, tashkent salad, kompot, kebobs and their potato salad (i forget the name of this dish) and their bread. It was all wonderful. Definitely worth the drive.

To my luck, we had great Uzbek food less than 15 mins away! It was a while ago but we ordered the samsa, manti, kutabi, plov, and chohohbli, and I can't recall what else but we loved it! Last night my husband and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with cultural artifacts and art. This may just be a me thing but the serveware was envy worthy. It was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with beautiful dishware. There were only two people taking orders and serving food for an almost full dining room so we were understanding of a bit of a wait time. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us when they could. We ordered the khachipuri, samsa, oxtail, chohobli, steamed rice, pilmeni, and hot tea. Both the khachipuri and samsa were flaky pastries: khachapuri filled with a salty stretchy cheese with a cheese pull that tasted better than it was Instagram-able and samsa filled with a savory meat/onion mixture served with a tomato based sauce. Get one per person because you will not want to share. We ordered fried mini dumplings which are filled with meat and also served with same tomato based sauce that came with the samsa. They were delicious but afterwards I saw that you can get them steamed in a broth, I told myself I have to get that next time. The slow-cooked, tender oxtail was served over the best crispy, fat-fried potatoes I've ever had. The chohobli (chicken stew) was fall off the bone into a delicious tomato-based stew. We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal. I will rave about it to just about anyone that will listen in hopes that they will come with me next time so we can order more dishes to share.
