My husband and I were looking to see what to try and we notice the Peruvian restaurant opened. They opened 6 days ago. There's a lot to choose from and we will definitely come back to try other food selections. We order mango juice and horchata. The juice for me is a little off but I just need to get used to it. The lomo saltado presented a mixed dining experience. While the sauce was a highlight, adding depth and moisture to the dish, the meat was disappointingly tough. The rice fell short, tasting somewhat bland and lacking the vibrant flavor one expects from this classic Peruvian stir-fry. Despite these shortcomings, the overall taste showed promise. The sauce worked hard to elevate the dish, providing a welcome layer of flavor that somewhat compensated for the less impressive elements. A bit more attention to meat preparation and rice seasoning could transform this from an average meal to an exceptional one. The wings delivered a satisfying crunch and generally pleasant flavor. The lemon pepper seasoning showed promise, creating an enjoyable taste experience. However, the absence of dressing was a notable disappointment, potentially leaving the wings feeling slightly incomplete. Have always liked this place. Unfortunately this last visit will have probably been the last time I go. Watched one of the employees walk out of the bathroom, then proceed to blow into a pair of gloves so that he could put them on easier and begin making food. Seriously? Please educate your employees on proper food safety guidelines. I can only imagine the things that aren't caught. It's a good restaurant but sorry. read more

The "manager " on call answered the phone at 8:37 on Jan 16. We placed two carryout orders and both orders were incorrect. I asked them to do something about it and he kept saying huh?? I asked to speak to the manager and he replied "I'm the manager" when I repeated the issue he started cussing me out and hung up. Will be filing a report about this! read more

This is mostly sorta self service .you order at a kiosk and pick up at the counter . Food is good. Our second time here . I didn't take pics the first time coz I was so hungry. I had the lamb rack the first time and it was cooked to perfection. My kids loved the burger and chicken gyro. My hubby had the catfish and said it was great too. Second round we had the quesadilla, smash burger and steak burrito. All items were great. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is nice, clean and spacious. read more

Boy, did I have high hopes for this place. When I saw a Peruvian Chicken joint was opening within walking distance I was very hyped. But unfortunately, this is just another wildly mediocre chicken place on top of the pile in Montgomery County. You know ones, they all offer the same unexciting sides of white or fried rice, black beans, green beans, plantains, yuca, etc. The same underwhelming flavor. It's not bad enough that it's so generic, but they're stingy on the sauces too. The sauces are in these little thimble of a plastic cuplet and it's not even filled up all the way. If you remember what was in this place before, the Korean taco take-out, you will also remember it wasn't there hardly year before they closed their doors. And it was purported they were actually pretty good. I highly doubt this place will fair any better. It seems everytime I pass by there is noone from the culture eating there. It's just a handful of the local standard fare suburban teens that are just sick of eating Chipotle 5 times a week. Now go look at a Picca Pollo (Sardi's) in Germantown. The culture is there and dining in. The real ones recognize the real ones. PCC&G clearly is not it. Not that familiar with Rockville, but at least from Gaithersburg to Germantown, Sardi's is still the spot. Issac's is pretty solid too. Poyoteca is alright with me. Most importantly, none of them are weird about the sauces. And did I mention the price? I got a quarter dark /w 2 sides, a burrito, and a drink....$32. Yeah, nah. I get that storefront in the Kentlands is probably outrageous, but the quality of that food is just not worth the price. There's just nothing about this place that warrants a second visit. I shudder to think what that smash burger is like. I will not be finding out. read more

When we saw there as a Peruvian place with a smash burger in the area, we were so excited to try it. We went for the smash burger that day. Very disappointed, it was just a regular burger. We also tried their wings which was nothing special, but wasn't awful. They have a really big menu that is all over the place, which to me if a little overwhelming. read more

I placed an order and my app said it was ready. When I arrived I showed the worker the order confirmation, THATS WHEN HE STARTED TO MAKE IT! The restaurant was completely empty, but the worker was just standing there doing nothing, why wasnt my order being made all that time? I went to run an errand for like 20min thinking it would be ready by the time I got there but it wasnt even started! Then It took an additional 10 minutes for them to scoop already-prepared chicken and rice into a container. When he finally finished taking his sweet time, while I was waiting at the register, he rudely tossed the bag onto the far side of the counter instead of handing it to me.To make matters worse, the food itself was disgusting. The chicken had a strong chemical smell and tasted like window cleaner. Overall, the food tasted like trash.Extremely poor service and terrible food quality. Amazing Peruvian chicken made with hardwood charcoal. Very well marinated. I tried all sorts of things on the menu and definitely recommend the Peruvian chicken. The smash burger was not bad (wouldn't go just for that). And the steak tacos had great meat but the toppings and sauces were a little bleak. read more

We were looking forward to getting a carry out at this restaurant. My meal was soggy and full of oil. My husband's veggies looked burnt and chicken was inedible. Very disappointing. Not returning ever. read more

I went with high hopes, looking to branch out from Sardis. Very disappointing. The plantains were great. My go to dish at Peruvian restaurants is Lomo Saltado. Copious amounts of meat with the traditional fries, but completely dry and tasteless. Can't figure out what they did or did not do, but 90% is in the fridge hoping it develops taste overnight. The staff was very nice,(unlike the usual surly cashiers at Sardis). I would like to give them a second chance, but it might take a while before I cough up big bucks for such a tasteless meal. read more

Placed a to go order in the restaurant at 650. At 720 I asked where it was. They had lost the order. I was told it would be at least 15 minutes before the food would be ready. I asked for a refund, which they gave me. I was never offered anything for the inconvenience - appetizer if I waited, coupon for a future meal or how about a refund and the food on the house.
