This place is head and shoulders above the other places around here to get sushi and hibachi. The quality of the food is top notch. My wife and daughter took me here for an early father's day dinner. We had the Hibachi grill. The chef was very entertaining and playful to our daughter with the show. The food was the best Japanese I have ever had. I ordered two rolls of sushi, eel with avocado and eel with cucumber, which was blow your mind good. I do not know how they afford to stay in business with the mountain of food they give you for a low cost. We ate till our bellies were full and took the rest home for lunch the next day. My wife and I were looking for something special and we found it at Mizu. The staff impressed as we walked in even before we were seated. We arrived for a late lunch and were seated instantly. Other patrons were ordering without a menu so we knew the repeat patronage was high. Our waiter was quick an efficient offering recommendations without hesitation when asked. We had a wonderful rocket shrimp appetizer that was perfectly prepared. My wife has a salad and I picked the egg drop soup on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best I have ever had anywhere. I opted for the special maki roll recently added to the menu and already a hit with the regulars while my wife enjoyed and raved about the steak hibachi. Don't Bother going during lunch. There is one server who looks pissed he even has to be there serving the entire restaurant. Tables are always dirty. The owner doesn't even help during lunch rush when he can tell their one guy is in the weeds. Service is so lackadaisical that it's impossible to come on a lunch break. Worst dining experience in a long time. We were the first seated in the hibachi area. After waiting 20 min for our drink orders to return, two other tables had filled up. Instead of sending the chef to our table they served the other two tables first. 45 min two other tables had complete meals and were leaving and we had only gotten our soup. We decided to leave, they still made us pay for our soup and drinks after waiting over an hour and being completely ignored by the staff. Will NEVER go back. The food is great and decently priced. I'm taking away 1 start because of the smell in this place. The carpet is so dingy. It looks bad. The servers are very nice and when I complained about the smell she was still nice although I'm sure she has heard it from almost everyone who ears here. It's well worth the visit. I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here... The place looked nice, clean. Tile floors and typical sushi/hibachi layout. Service was quick and friendly. We did the all you can eat sushi ($22.95/pp for dinner), and it was excellent. I expected them to load on the rice but everything was well proportioned. Sauces and toppings were nice and the fish was all fresh. Gyoza was perfect. We'll definitely be back!! read more

I went to Mizu last night with the family. Very impressed with the quality of sushi. I got the all you can eat sushi. I was expecting small sushi rolls but I was greatly surprised with Hugh rolls. The sushi had great flavor and rice wasn't over cooked. My son had the hibachi Salmon and loved it. I have to say it was the best sushi I've had so far. Only reason I'm not giving Mizu 5 stars is because I had to pay $5 for a take home box because I wasn't able to eat all that great sushi. read more

My family and I have been coming to Mizu's for our hibachi and sushi since just after they opened their doors. Love their food and their service. I'm never disappointed and they are very accommodating to my families dislike of mushrooms and zucchini. We just had a party of 5. Four had habachi and 1 had all you can eat sushi. When the habachi group were about half finished we flagged the waitress and asked about the sushi. No idea what happened. They finally brought out some sushi, but it wasn't what he ordered. He ate it because he was hungry. They brought his order when everyone else was finished. They "allowed" him a go box.
