First time trying Mizu and it did not disappoint! I got the kaarage chicken ramen and the broth was so flavorful and delicious. But the takoyaki was absolutely amazing. The broth was great, the chasu was nice and tender, the egg was perfectly done. If you like garlic, black tonkatsu is what you want! Idk what the people asking for more spice are talking about. They give you three broth spice options: regular (no spice), mild (a little chili oil in the broth) and spicy (I'm assuming lots of chili oil in the broth). I got mine mild and it was a perfect level of mouth-warming heat without blowing my palate. For all these folks who are complaining they had to add sriracha, that's the way it should be! You wouldn't want ramen broth that defaulted to crazy spicy. If that's how hot you like it, you can always just ask for even more chili oil. We also ordered gyoza that were solid. The reason this isn't a five star is that my dining partner found the chicken ramen broth bland and thought the chicken chasu was dry. BUT I know this person likes things really salty AND I don't really believe in chicken ramen (chicken meat and bones do not have the same fat and flavor as pork--honestly I've never even heard of a full-chicken ramen before), so given the rest of the meal was good, I'm going four stars. The service was terrible we had to call the waiter over for drinks, food, etc. The food was okay at best it's nothing like the images on the menu. My order was missing tofu and they brought out bland uncooked tofu in a bowl of tofu juice when the image shows cooked tofu. After all the issues we had to hunt down a manager for our check (because our waiter went missing) and they didn't even discount the food I didn't eat even though my order was completely wrong. I hate going to restaurants choosing off menu and then hour when waiter comes back to tell me half the items that I'm feeling your not making !!!It's a big turn off! So the food, got started w the pork belly bun bun it was ok, I then got the salmon avocado it was nicely wrapped in a banana leaf for looks but when the fish isn't fresh you can tell, all spices you try to add to ur takes away what should have been fresh fish! Everyone else at my table order ramen prolly number 3 or 11 since not many options! If your looking for that true Asian style like LA ramen places or even ATL you won't get that here! It's ok jus for ramen only but it's nothing exciting if you been to a real ramen place. Again have everything on your menu to offer especially on your grand opening day! It's your time to shine!!! Good service, good boba tea, good ambiance (demon slayer playing on one of the tvs). However. The ramen itself was not worth coming to a restaurant for. DO NOT ... DO NOT get the seafood ramen. I have never thrown up this hard, I have burst all the blood vessels in my face AND neck. The mussels were undercooked, the fried shrimp was instantly soggy in the broth, and the ramen itself tasted very bland and starchy. If someone else had the same reaction I did to the ramen they'd probably file a lawsuit, and I know it's not me or some allergy because I literally ate oysters and mussels three days ago and had no reaction and otherwise I have a strong stomach. I have no allergies to any food. To end on a good note though the boba tea was amazing. I ordered taro milk tea with mango popping boba (the poppers tasted like cough syrup but that's okay, most usually do). The tea was the highlight of the meal and of the night. Ok so I'm going to give it 3 stars for these reasons. Is this the best ramen place in this town the answer is YES. Is it a 5 star ramen as far as taste, size and value NO. I love ramen I have had some great ramen in my life. The ramen bowls here are small compared to any other ramen house. The taste is more the fair it's actually good. Unfortunately the three times that I have been there the broth is luke warm and the hard boiled egg is never hot. I have had the shrimp and pork ramen both are good. The pork belly taco is amazing and shrimp tempura appetizer is good as well. The last time I went I sat by myself and waited 32 min for my server fortunately I do love one server there her name is ALLY. She has blue hair and she is great. So I asked for her to take over my table. Not sure who the guy in the maroon shirt is, if he's a manager he's beyond lazy. He doesn't help out the servers just walks around and eats on the floor while guest are dining. Over all its not a bad place if you go just be patient they have some work to do. read more

I was so excited about this place- probably overly excited. I've had a mishap every trip. Apple Pay not working 3 times. One time they weren't taking to go orders due to staffing. Ok I get all that after all- they're new. Today was another unfortunate visit. They have discontinued brussel sprouts- they said because of poor Yelp reviews about them and then they said because they were ordering them in bulk and no one orders them. Ok- anyway very disappointing for someone who doesn't like the meat entree meals. Then I get my check and they come back to tell me they don't take payment at the table anyway I need to walk it to the front. Why bring it in a card holder but Ok fine. Get to the counter phones and Internet doesn't work. Just a bad trip from start to finish. I really want to love this place. Now there's nothing here worth ordering to counter balance all the technical issues. Staff is so nice.
