Went to this place with friends and after waiting an hour for two pizzas we finally mentioned something to the manager. He said he would check on it and we finally got our food after we noticed multiple tables eat and leave when they arrived after us. Not only did the manager not comp us for anything, we were even charged $.50 for a cup of ranch. The whole experience lasted over 2 hours for 4 people and we spent over $100. The food was decent but a little overpriced. What makes me give this place a 1 star was the service. The waitress missed several drink orders and we had an entree come out 15 minutes late. Under qualified staff (Applebee's equivalent), disengaged managers, but still had 16 employees in a floor space of a small Taco Bell that wasn't even halfway full. Tried this place out Saturday afternoon. Expected it to be rustic decor with it being wood-fire pizza. Definitely modern/industrial look with high ceilings. Seating is small - think NYC restaurants - with a nice patio dining option with screening. Granted the views aren't much outside but the screening gives it a classic feel. TV's are scarred about so can keep up with sporting events but not so that it has a sorts "bar" feel to it. Very large bar with plenty of seating. And nice touch with the cloth napkins. Again a mix of old Italian NYC restaurant feel with a modern twist best describes the interior. Kitchen is open so you can see the makings of the food. Pizza comes in 2 sizes - small or large. Menu has appetizers, pasta & pizza, deserts - all house made- along with a very large selection of craft beers, shelf beers, wine, and local Onyz Coffee selections Ordered the wood -oven roasted artichoke dip - delish! And loaded with artichoke!!! It has a kick to it but just enough to make it not your ordinary run if the mill artichoke dip. Highly recommend the Four Seasons Pizza - fresh ingredients that really complemented each other. Crust on the pizza is not thin/not thick - but with a good chewy texture. Prices are moderate; it's not CiCi's pizza but the quality is much higher than your average pizza joint. Staff was pleasant & friendly. All-in-all 2 thumbs up. I didn't necessarily go into this place with high expectations, which was probably a good thing. The setting was super fancy, but we chose the patio, beautiful day. Our server was prompt, very knowledgable and friendly. I wish I remembered her name, though the place was dead when we went. We ordered a pizza, create your own which was a set price then I believe 2.00$ for any additional topping. The pizza came out quickly, which became quickly obviously why. Though the crust was delicious, in terms the crispy literal ends, for the most part the pizza was rather floppy for what I expect for a wood-fired pizza. I may be spoiled due to an amazing experience to a place with a similar statement up north, but this place was unfortunately a let down when it comes to the type of pizza they wish to sell. This place is awesome. The pizza is fantastic and the service is too. We love the BYOP (Build Your Own Pizza) with goat cheese and cured olives. The pizza is so good that my husband and I can finish a large ourselves (although we shouldn't)! Highly recommended. read more

Our waitress was extremely rude. We had been here once before and visit was good. Sad when one person changes your opinion and you will never go back now. Food is good. Went here for lunch last week while visiting the area. We ordered a small pizza and a couple of salads. The food was ok, nothing special and I actually wasn't a big fan of the thick crust pizza. The service was terrible. Our wait staff person seems extremely put out that she was at work and was quite rude. At one point she told us we needed to hurry up and order because a big table was being seated. "Really " . One of our party ordered a salad that came out a bit dry. She ask the girl for extra dressing and after a big sigh she said I can get you some but I will need to charge you 75 cents. I couldn't believe it. This was an average sized $9.00 salad and she is going to charge 75 cents for more dressing. My friend agreed and after a good 6 to 7 minutes she brought out less than a shot glass of dressing. I was just really turned off by the whole experience. One of the people in our party ask to place a to go order to take back to the office and the waiter completely ignored her and brought our bill. In the area for work this week. I must say I love the atmosphere and the food was great. Shared artichoke dip with a work colleague and then we order a pizza. The pizza was incredibly made with fresh ingredients and delivered by a courtesy staff member. Good selection of local brews as well. I will be back when I am in town. read more

MJ Pizzeria was the best restaurant experience I have had in Northwest Arkansas in a very long time. The atmosphere is so warm, comfortable, and inviting with such well appointed and thoughtful decor. I totally exhaled at their beautiful bar and enjoyed champagne while I watched the chef cooking my pizza in the wood fired oven. The service was very attentive. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The pizza was delectable. I am really looking forward to trying salads, desserts, and italian dishes next time! read more

The food is probably 4-5 stars, but the fact that the hostesses sit everyone inches away from one another despite having empty seats throughout the restaurant is incredibly annoying and is often the reason we and many others I've spoken with, choose other establishments. I've heard such great things about this restaurant. So my wife, daughter and I set aside a night to go. We arrive and it is pretty busy as most places are during dinner. We order a pizza and some drinks. It was about 45mins into waiting for our pizza and our waitress comes by and says sorry but the kitchen just told me they burned your pizza. We are remaking it, it'll be out shortly she says. We saw 4 other pizzas brought out to tables around us (in the 30mins we continued to wait). She kept checking on us reassuring us it would be out soon (she was very nice and apologetic). We waited a total of and hour and a half and still no pizza. At this point we had enough and asked for our tab. The pizza was taken off the ticket but we still paid for the milk, Coke and beers. Now I'm fine with paying for the beers but paying for the milk and Coke is a little ridiculous seeing how we just spent 90mins there and didn't get any food. We never saw or spoke to a manager. All in all it was an awful experience and we will never return!! read more

First time trying this place. Not too far from where I live. I heard good things, but 3 stars on my trusty Yelp concerned me. I bit the bullet and ordered to go - 3 small pizzas, caesar salad, and choke dip for a pretty decent price. The margherita was delicious, the four seasons fantastic (now my fav), and the spicy chicken (not one I'd normally pick) was surprisingly good. The choke dip was some of the best I've had. The only negative was the salad. It was okay, but fell short on being a good ceasar. I will definitely return for dine-in. read more

We have been back many times for this wonderful pizza. We recently tried the calzone and were pleasantly surprised. Great beer and wine selection. This is definitely the best Pizza I've had in NW Arkansas. It isn't top-tier NYC pizza, but it would hold it's own against all but the best "the City" has to offer. They're clearly using top quality ingredients and have a great wood-fired oven (and know how to use it). The crust is the only thing that lets this pizza down, (it's very good but not great). My husband and I have eaten here twice. The first time was when they first opened. We ordered a pizza and artichoke dip to go. The pizza was undercooked and the artichoke dip.... Was whole artichokes.... No dip about it. We decided to try it again months later and it was much better. read more
