My buddy and I were looking for a good all-you-can-eat KBBQ spot, and we decided to check this place out after seeing a great weekend deal. The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain the different meat options, which was helpful since there's a huge selection to choose from. The meat quality and cooking experience were decent overall. They also have a nice side buffet bar stocked with fruits and side dishes, and the staff even offered us complimentary ice cream at the end of our meal! The only downside was parking. It's pretty tough to find a spot, so you might need to look for street parking. Overall, a solid experience for our first visit!

If you're looking for an old school Korean BBQ joint in LA then I would definitely check out MJD Korean Barbecue. Not only is it SUPER affordable, but the food was absolutely yummy! It's self serve (even for the meat, yaaaas!) I was surprised that there was parking on a holiday weekend and we were able to get seated right away. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Had a great time at AYCE MJD Korean BBQ. There's two choices of ACYE, Silver or Gold. The amount and variety of meat was dependent on whether you chose Silver or Gold. We went with the Gold which included the LA galbi and ribeye steak. The meat was of good quality and tender. Note, the galbi were thick and HUGE! Thoroughly enjoyed gnawing the meat off the rib. There's a salad bar that includes cold soba noodles, fruit, mac salad, a variety of side dishes. Additionally, there's a make your own ramen station and three other soups available. What truly made the experience was the service and attention we received from David, Albert, and Daniel! Top notch service! Definitely will be returning! Need to try all the other dishes that were missed!

Great experience here! Came on my mom's birthday! There wasn't a wait. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food was great! Lots of options and everything was flavorful ! Fun environment. Would definitely come back again! They also had a ramen bar and melona ice cream!!

Checked them out during their soft opening. Got their happy hour special for 23.99. Kids 6-9 is 14.99. Regular price is 28.99. They gave out free tequila shots and melona ice cream! Score! You won't find ayce kbbq for this cheap. I liked their korean fried chicken, brisket, beef belly and bulgogi. I never eat bulgogi at ayce kbbq places but my kids and I enjoyed it here. I also liked their pumpkin porridge. The self serving bar is convenient and makes everything more efficient so you don't have to wait around. Parking can be tight as it is in the same plaza as Dave's Hot Chicken and a bunch of other businesses. I felt the grill was a bit small for 4 people. It's perfect for a party of 2. Check them out!

We had a great time! Service was fast and attentive. I love the serve yourself meat section because we were able to get exactly how much we can eat and not a single piece was leftover. The sides were good. The only thing I didn't care for was the cucumbers, it had no flavor. They have two different soups and curry. The spicy kimchi soup was the best. The only meats we tried was spicy pork belly, beef belly and something that started with a "J". All were great. I love that they gave you real cups for water and not the tiny ones more kbbq places gives. My only complaint was the music was too loud at times. And parking may be an issue. We found parking only because we went around 7:30 and most places around there was closed.

The service was amazing. Alberto rocks. This was our first time on the place and we will be coming back pretty soon. Thank you for all.

All the meats were quality that matched the price and a very good value for lunch. Staff were very attentive and polite in how to use the self-serve bar. Occasionally came over to see if everything was good and if I needed anything. Restaurant has a very open space that has a very nice interior mixed with 80s and modern vibes. Free ice cream at the end. Would come back again with a bigger group to support this new business :)

Best price for veteran kbbq eaters. Self serve everything is great when you know exactly what you want. Party of 4 is a perfect size for one grill. Got the silver option for $19.99 and ate so much cold soba and meat i didnt even get to the ramen station. Pumpkin porridge was good. We forgot to get alcohol but it looked cold and delicious. Love this for casual dining. Very attentive staff thats always standing around at all stations to help customers. They kept the tables clear and the drinks filled. Cute spot. Def worth the drive from long beach.

Brought a party of 8 on a Saturday night and they were very accommodating. From the minute we stepped into the restaurant they were welcoming and very informative of how it worked. They offer silver and gold options. Our server Alberto was awesome. He went out of his way and made custom sides and offered tips on what meats and sides to try. Definitely coming back really enjoyed the atmosphere and service from our server to the manager who even took shots with us! 건배

Now on to the food, they have a wonderful selection here, you got all types of chicken, im talking about orange, teriyaki, and bbq. They got sushi and sashimi, they got crab legs galore and lobster as well. U got shumai, egg rolls, and tempura shrimp. Pizza, garlic bread, I meant to take pics of it all but was too bz chowing down lol. But honestly everything was fresh and the place had ample room for our large group. Heck they got their own boba AND coffee self serve stations, it doesnt get better than that. And a chocolate fountain to boot! We didnt get to hit up everything there since we came later but definitely coming back to try everything else. Great place for to take the fam if yall are super hungry.

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

My group's table was near this area, and the sound of silverware and plates being dumped and loaded into bins and carts reoccurred every few minutes and interrupted conversations. I will split up the food into two parts, seafood and everything else. Seafood- I do not eat seafood, so I took my family's word for it. They were very satisfied with the crab legs and the crawfish. They said it was worth the 40 dollars and they filled their bellies with multiple plates. My girlfriend said the shrimp did not taste good or fresh. All of the other food- i tried most of the other items, but I honestly only enjoyed one row of selection: the stir fry area. This included chow mein, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and black pepper beef. This was the most flavorful and fresh set of flavors I experience during. My dinner. Also, the chicken wings were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they needed sauce. Fuji buffet offers quite a few sauces, but none paired well with the wings. Also the restaurant provided 4 giant bottles of sauce, but they were not all labeled and they were admittedly dirty on the outside. In short- they were slippery to the point where they slide out of my grip. Also, the bottles had sauce dripping outside of them and needed to be clean. So, I decided to pass on them. The desert area was nice, but the items did not feel or taste fresh. The cream puffs were soggy and the tiramisu fell flat. I love the parsley salad, cabbage, roasted vegetables, the vegetable soup, and all the onions/tomatoes they have in some of the dishes on the buffet line. I LOVE rice (wow what a surprise) but here? It's such an afterthought for me. I will gladly eat all the roasted chicken, lamb shank, kofta, etc. with all the salads and veggies. It's the healthiest buffet I've ever been to.
