Beware: Complimentary items for Yelp / Google reviews. I visited PZK for my birthday since it was close for all of my friend group and had high reviews. Little did I know I probably should've scoped it out first... for starters, there's complimentary items offered for reviews. PZK is in a small plaza, so parking may be difficult during busier hours. I highly recommend ridesharing if possible. When we arrived, we were seated promptly and began our AYCE ventures. We had multiple servings of brisket and beef belly amongst other dishes like their kimchi fried rice, dumplings, and short rib. In short, service was quick in the beginning and immediately slowed afterwards. The meats were all "okay" with the vegetable dumplings leaving more to be desired. The sides weren't too tasty, but the kimchi fried rice was good. The corned cheese was thankfully tasty, but the one that ticked most of us off was the $4 steamed egg! Most AYCE KBBQ spots offer at least 1 or 2 per group complimentary.

My new favorite AYCE Korean bbq in ktown! The quality is unmatched with the more affordable price and I loved every dish we ordered. My table ordered the premium and they offered Galbi (marinated short ribs) and filet minon which were our favorites. This business has a variety of sides such as ramen, steamed egg, and more. I also appreciated they didn't keep the music too loud like a lot of other bbq establishments. I could drink with my friends and chat without screaming over all the noise. The vibe is really relaxed and they have tv in the background. Service was on point and attentive. Parking is FREE which is rare to find in ktown! I highly recommend!

Wait staff were on top of everything you wanted or needed. They were also very friendly. Ordered Option "A" all you can eat, as I wasn't that hungry. The banchan included soybean sprouts, macaroni salad, radish slices, noodles (plain japchae), and thinly sliced marinated fish cake. A large bowl of Korean salad and rice paper was also included. Beef brisket, shrimp, and marinated beef (bulgolgi) were first ordered. The brisket was very thinly sliced and of good quality. The shrimp were served with heads attached and worth ordering. The bulgogi wasn't as sweet as others I've tasted. It was still tasty and all was eaten! We ordered the steamed egg for an additional $4. Fluffiest and best steamed egg I've had in a long time. If I were more hungry, I would have ordered a second one! Surprisingly, there was just enough room to order the thinly sliced pork belly and mochi ice cream! Yum! How can you go wrong with crispy bacon?! Note: the mochi cream is an additional $4. Definitely planning on returning with a bunch of friends and a bigger appetite. !

What a hidden gem, all you can eat Korean bbq with delicious meats for under $35! I loved the kimchi fried rice and the service was speedy! I'll be back

No gatekeeping for this hidden gem, no fuss, and delicious kbbq spot! I usually stick to the same 3 meats when I eat AYCE kbbq so Option A was truly a bang for your buck at $21.99. The quality of the meats were overall good. I enjoyed the variety of banchan and felt like they had the popular ones that I cared for like fish cake, mac salad, and pickled carrots and radish amongst many other dishes. Service was great and the meat portions were kinda big for a party of 2. The best part about this place is free parking because the restaurant is located in a plaza. I came on a Saturday night and there was plenty of space. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good value ayce kbbq meal. I will definitely be coming back!

With so many Korean BBQ options in the area, this was a lucky find and I'm so glad we chose this spot over another that was not too far from here. No street parking necessary, they have a private parking lot (no charge). Service was courteous and attentive. Great cuts of meat. Cleanliness as well as side options will always be the deal breakers for me when it comes to Korean BBQ. PZK BBQ hit all those marks. The floors weren't oily, dining area was spacious with plenty of leg room, vents worked well, and there are plenty of side options (you might just have to ask for them), and staff are kind and hospitable. Wear your stretchy pants, you'll eat well here. I bookmarked this spot just so I don't confuse them with any others in the area cuz all the ones in tiny plazas like this one do look similar from the outside. In this plaza, you don't have to pay for parking. Enjoy!

A new Kbbq spot in DTLA that has easy parking, no wait, and is only $21.99? No way. I'm surprised this spot hasn't gotten more popular yet. My boyfriend and I have gone twice and both times we wished they had more customers coming in! I don't think they've blown up on social media like they should've yet. I forgot to take a picture of their updated menu, but the Combo A which has your standard brisket, beef belly, thick pork belly, bulgogi + shrimp, KIMCHI FRIED RICE, soybean soup etc. is $21.99. Combo B is $29.99 and adds in pork jowl, short ribs, spicy ramen and a few other things. Combo C has all of A and B but includes filet mignon, NY steak, beef tongue, and other more expensive cuts of meat. This is $34.99. These prices are SO rare nowadays!! Side note their kimchi fried rice is bomb haha. Honestly, this is my new favorite quick Kbbq spot where I don't have to deal with ktown crowds and parking AND I can get a good meal out of it. Good variety of banchan as well! They have a decent sized parking lot that's free. The other businesses in the plaza are small mom&pop shops and only two of them are open at night, so it's very ample parking. Also, the owners and workers are sweet! I hope they do well. Highly recommend! We'll be back :)

This place is honestly such a hidden gem!! For $24 ayce bbq, you rily can't beat the quality of the meat and the sides they give you. The service was also pretty good and very attentive. There's also a small parking lot (which is a huge plus!!) and they open late. So if you're looking for a lowkey kobq spot definitely check this place out!

Best Ayce by far. Left the lakers game looking for some kbbq and everything was busy so decided to try this hole in the wall and it did not dissapoint.

Place was so good we ate everything

We ordered two combo plates at $35 each -- well worth every penny. We upgraded to the lean brisket for an extra $2 and added pork ribs for $3 more per plate, and the result was a tray piled high with some of the best BBQ in the city. Sides included mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw, with both regular and spicy BBQ sauce on the side and sweet tea to wash it all down. The lean brisket was an absolute standout -- tender, juicy, and bursting with deep smoky flavor. The pork ribs were equally impressive, smoky and fall-off-the-bone tender with a gorgeous bark on the outside. The mac and cheese was honestly some of the best I've ever had -- rich, creamy, and comfort food at its absolute peak. The baked beans were packed with flavor and loaded with chunks of pork that made them feel like a meal on their own. The coleslaw was a perfect palate cleanser -- delicate, fresh, and not overly sweet, exactly how it should be done. The one minor letdown was the hot link sausage -- it was juicy but lacked the bold flavor you'd expect, and the skin was a bit tougher than it should have been. A small miss in an otherwise outstanding meal, and not enough to take anything away from the overall experience. The atmosphere was electric -- lively and loud in the best way, packed with energy and wall-to-wall televisions. We happened to go during the FIFA World Cup Final and the place was absolutely hopping. Our waiter was extraordinarily attentive and friendly, and the food came out quickly and piping hot despite how busy it was. Bludso's is the real deal. If you're serious about BBQ in LA, this is your spot. Get the brisket, get the ribs, and don't skip the mac and cheese.

Back in the day, you had to get there early because the place STAYED PACKED, and their ribs were THEE reason to go. They were hands down some of the best ribs I ever had as a kid. They put me on. Fast forward 15-20 years later, and today was my first time coming back since my teenage years. I tried calling ahead to place an order, but couldn't get through. Honestly, that didn't surprise me because Woody's was always busy. I figured it was still the same old Woody's. Then I pulled into the parking lot around 6 PM on a Thursday. Immediately, there was parking available. That alone felt odd. No line. Plenty of parking. Not a single customer inside. That should have been my first sign. We ordered beef ribs, sliced brisket, mac and cheese, and dessert. They were out of the banana pudding, so we settled for peach cobbler. The total was around $50, which isn't bad for dinner for two. The excitement really started to hit when we got home and opened everything up. Unfortunately, that's when reality set in. The mac and cheese was terrible. Completely flavorless, watery, and mushy. The pasta was so overcooked it practically fell apart and blended together like baby food. It tasted old and had absolutely no seasoning or richness whatsoever. First and last time ordering that. Next was the brisket. The slices were gray, dry, and looked like they'd been sitting around for a while. I took one bite and immediately said, "Absolutely not." Another disappointment. But I wasn't too worried yet because I came for one thing: THE RIBS. The flavor was actually still there. The sauce and seasoning reminded me of the Woody's I remembered. BUT THE TEXTURE... A completely different story. The ribs weren't tender, weren't juicy, and definitely weren't falling off the bone. They were tough enough that I found myself working for every bite. At that point, the empty parking lot, empty dining room, and lack of lines made a lot more sense. By the end of the meal, I ended up rinsing the remaining ribs off so my dog could enjoy them as a chew toy. What hurts most isn't the bad meal--it's seeing what was once a legendary BBQ spot become a shadow of what it used to be. I almost wish I hadn't come back because it tarnished some really great childhood memories for me. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I also believe in being honest. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but based on this experience, Woody's is not the Woody's I remember, and unfortunately, I won't be returning. If it's any consolation, the cobbler was okay. But not worth going out of my way for.
