Beef tongue & large intestines
Jodie F.

It was 1 am, my boyfriend & I were craving yummy kbbq. The usual spot we go to was closed so we came here instead. We walked in & were seated right away. Meats - We chose the AYCE B menu since A didn't have beef tongue & large intestines which are my faves! Verdict: they were ok. Their Marinated Short Rib was good! Pork belly & brisket were decent. Side dishes - ok / a lil bland, except the kimchi. The kimchi had a nice kick. Also saw that it's an extra charge if you refill the sides & rice more than 2 times which is not what we're used to. Parking - free parking lot & street parking available. Overall, I didn't love it but it's a good pick for late night cravings since most of the other AYCE restaurants closes earlier. Price is comparable in the area but I've had much better quality meats.

I have been to this restaurant a couple times and I think it may be under new ownership or management. Nonetheless still a good experience! We did the 27.99 and you get a lot of different meats with it. The staff switched out the plates with good timing and also helped cut some of the meat during their down time. A downside we faced with the experience was that we were told their credit card systems weren't working so it was cash or Zelle. I hope this was just a coincidence and not a frequent thing that happens. Overall it was still a great experience with friendly staff. Parking is $5 if you eat in the complex too. Definitely worth giving a try!

STE 101 is easily one of the best studio spaces on campus. The room is clean, modern, and thoughtfully set up for both individual work and group projects. The lighting, tech, and layout make it feel professional without being intimidating, and it's surprisingly comfortable to spend long sessions in. Everything--from the equipment to the seating--feels well-maintained and intentional. Whether you're recording, studying, or collaborating, STE 101 has this calm, focused vibe that makes you actually want to get work done. It's the kind of space that levels up your productivity and makes creative projects feel smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a studio that's reliable, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable to work in, STE 101 is a standout. Highly recommend.

This is the LA night time spot for good food, I'm celebrating my birthday here Love this place

Bulgogi. Was like mush

They are very short staffed and unorganized. You're lucky to get a seat. The staff is not aware on how to serve. We wanted to start off with 3 orders of the same meat (3 orders to start). The waiter said ok. Next thing we know the manager came up to and was telling us we were ordering wrong and rudely educates us that only 1 type of meat allowed. Wish we were told by the waiter.. The side dishes were ok. There was some hair in the potatoes. Yikes! The meats were fine but frozen. The bulgogi is not bulgogi! It looks so gross. Feels like it was frozen as well. The place was VERY loud. It was so hard to talk to each other. If the music was a bit lower it could've been better. Overall, this place has change. From their staff to the rules and it's so so disorganized. Keep away!

Poppin' vibez!! Staff are quick and friendly. Food is fresh and is very decent for the price. They also stay open late for midnight munchers! Loud music and somewhat dim lighting here. Cheers!

I went to try the all you can eat KBBQ and this is a solid place while affordable. The service was quick and helpful. They continued to check on us and help out when needed. The food was great, I wasn't a fan of the brisket (usually am), but the short rib was delicious! The seating set up is organized and quite spacious!

Another day in Korea Town, and another new dinning establishment with great food and ambience. Food: They offer AYCE - all you can eat menu with 3 levels of different meat with affordable prices, A, B and C. The meats are well seasoned Service: the lady manager is really nice and friendly and attentive. Ambiance: the restaurant is a well lit room and also enough to have a nice, sweet dinner with someone you fancy. I definitely rate it 4 out of 5 Stars. Thank you for the wonderful food, service and space to have a special dinner with my friends.

The KBBQ is very good. The service is quick and efficient. They helped me cook and cut the various proteins. My favorite was the Beef Bulgogi, beef belly and boneless short ribs. The ambiance is simple and clean. Open til 4am. Great for a late night spot. Parking is tricky but it's like that at most places in Ktown. I came on a Sunday so I found a free parking meter.

"Annyeonghaseyo" (Hello) to all fellow BBQ and Samgyeopsal lovers like me! STE 101 in Koreatown, LA offers a grillin' and sizzlin' fun dining experience. Cooking your own food on the Korean-style grill felt nostalgic, as it has been one of my cherished bonding moments with my daughter. It also transported me back to the time when we explored Korean culture during our travels to South Korea years ago, including eating authentic Korean cuisine. My LA native friend recommended this place. I like their selection of lean meats. From placing that first slice on the grill to the moment it melts in your mouth, the burst of flavors leaves you craving for more. The addition of the veggies and the sauces plus the kimchi make it more delish. Take note: There's a correct way to enjoy the meat with veggies. Take a leaf of green lettuce, add a piece of grilled meat, kimchi, and a bit of rice. Fold it like a pocket, dip it in sauce, then pop it in your mouth to savor the mix of flavors. The customer service was great, and the prices are budget-friendly. The place is casual. Make STE 101 your top choice when you find yourself in Koreatown, Los Angeles. It is indeed "Mashisoyo!" (delicious)

Brisket and banchan

First things first: This place offers a "Review us and get a free bottle of soju" deal. While generous, I'm not a shill and didn't undermine my integrity as a reviewer (at least not today ... mostly because I was DD tonight). So you can rest assured my review is genuine. ;) Anyway, for a $27.99 AYCE (option A) per person, it was a steal. However, you do pay for what you get. The place wasn't the cleanest and while our servers were very responsive and helpful, our hostess was a bit rude, as she avoided our gazes/signals constantly and her demeanor was overall dismissive and impatient. I wrote this review in essentially the amount of time it took to get her attention to order more food. Our favorites were the pork/beef belly and spicy bulgogi. You also should order the steamed egg and soybean soup (1 order per 2 people). They're also fairly generous with their banchan, which was a plus. They do NOT honor their "free soda for a checkin" offer on Yelp. Not sure if we'd return, but it is fairly cheap for typical AYCE KBBQ. One last thing: they include a mandatory 18% "service fee", which is basically their tip, regardless of party size. That does inflate your overall cost.

Do I need to call to reserve for a group of 6-8? For like a Friday evening around 7 pm?

During the day more than likely! At a later time in night really rare. Hope this helps!

You guys close at 4am but what's your last call?

Hi Joseph, on weekends, we take orders until 3:30am, but on weekdays, it varies. Thank you for reaching out!

Are you still open until 4am? Tnx

Yes, we are! Our phone is currently down due to AT&T outage in the area in case you’ve called us.

How much is Ayce for dinner?

Lowest one price is $27/30 then goes up from there.

We ordered two combo plates at $35 each -- well worth every penny. We upgraded to the lean brisket for an extra $2 and added pork ribs for $3 more per plate, and the result was a tray piled high with some of the best BBQ in the city. Sides included mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw, with both regular and spicy BBQ sauce on the side and sweet tea to wash it all down. The lean brisket was an absolute standout -- tender, juicy, and bursting with deep smoky flavor. The pork ribs were equally impressive, smoky and fall-off-the-bone tender with a gorgeous bark on the outside. The mac and cheese was honestly some of the best I've ever had -- rich, creamy, and comfort food at its absolute peak. The baked beans were packed with flavor and loaded with chunks of pork that made them feel like a meal on their own. The coleslaw was a perfect palate cleanser -- delicate, fresh, and not overly sweet, exactly how it should be done. The one minor letdown was the hot link sausage -- it was juicy but lacked the bold flavor you'd expect, and the skin was a bit tougher than it should have been. A small miss in an otherwise outstanding meal, and not enough to take anything away from the overall experience. The atmosphere was electric -- lively and loud in the best way, packed with energy and wall-to-wall televisions. We happened to go during the FIFA World Cup Final and the place was absolutely hopping. Our waiter was extraordinarily attentive and friendly, and the food came out quickly and piping hot despite how busy it was. Bludso's is the real deal. If you're serious about BBQ in LA, this is your spot. Get the brisket, get the ribs, and don't skip the mac and cheese.

Didn't even come around to see if we needed anything or if everything was good or not. We came here around 1:30pm on 3/16. The restroom was also out of paper towels and soap from the soda dispenser. Poor quality food! Glad I tried it, so I know to not come back again!

Another thing I like -- though it might not be for everyone -- is that you get to cook your own meat. I prefer my meat done a certain way, so it's nice having that control, and everyone can cook it to their own preference. Back in the day, you had to get there early because the place STAYED PACKED, and their ribs were THEE reason to go. They were hands down some of the best ribs I ever had as a kid. They put me on. Fast forward 15-20 years later, and today was my first time coming back since my teenage years. I tried calling ahead to place an order, but couldn't get through. Honestly, that didn't surprise me because Woody's was always busy. I figured it was still the same old Woody's. Then I pulled into the parking lot around 6 PM on a Thursday. Immediately, there was parking available. That alone felt odd. No line. Plenty of parking. Not a single customer inside. That should have been my first sign. We ordered beef ribs, sliced brisket, mac and cheese, and dessert. They were out of the banana pudding, so we settled for peach cobbler. The total was around $50, which isn't bad for dinner for two. The excitement really started to hit when we got home and opened everything up. Unfortunately, that's when reality set in. The mac and cheese was terrible. Completely flavorless, watery, and mushy. The pasta was so overcooked it practically fell apart and blended together like baby food. It tasted old and had absolutely no seasoning or richness whatsoever. First and last time ordering that. Next was the brisket. The slices were gray, dry, and looked like they'd been sitting around for a while. I took one bite and immediately said, "Absolutely not." Another disappointment. But I wasn't too worried yet because I came for one thing: THE RIBS. The flavor was actually still there. The sauce and seasoning reminded me of the Woody's I remembered. BUT THE TEXTURE... A completely different story. The ribs weren't tender, weren't juicy, and definitely weren't falling off the bone. They were tough enough that I found myself working for every bite. At that point, the empty parking lot, empty dining room, and lack of lines made a lot more sense. By the end of the meal, I ended up rinsing the remaining ribs off so my dog could enjoy them as a chew toy. What hurts most isn't the bad meal--it's seeing what was once a legendary BBQ spot become a shadow of what it used to be. I almost wish I hadn't come back because it tarnished some really great childhood memories for me. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I also believe in being honest. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but based on this experience, Woody's is not the Woody's I remember, and unfortunately, I won't be returning. If it's any consolation, the cobbler was okay. But not worth going out of my way for.
