Wow! Absolutely beautiful experience! Ive called KB 333 and ask if they take Solopreneur and they said, "Okay, no worries." Check-in was pretty simple, with almost no wait. When I sat down, one of the servers, Mickey, came over and introduced himself. He said, "If you need anything, please let me know." That immediately got me thinking that this place was different. As many of you know, Korean BBQ service in Los Angeles can be hit or miss. After I ordered, they started bringing out the meats, especially the cuts I had selected. I was also able to get massive selection of "supporting dishes" because they really bring out and complement the flavors of the meat. From that point on, the service was outstanding. The staff checked in constantly to make sure we had everything we needed, asked if anything was missing, and made sure our table was taken care of throughout the meal. What impressed me most was that the attention never felt forced or intrusive. They seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a great dining experience. In a city with no shortage of Korean BBQ options, that level of hospitality really stands out. The food was excellent, but what will bring me back is the combination of great food and exceptional service. Too often, restaurants focus on one and neglect the other. This place delivered both. Place is complete trash! Came on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 6 and was immediately sat down. However we did not get any service for the first 15 mins after sitting us down. Two older Korean ladies were super passive aggressive and gave us attitude when we finally got our order taken. No refills in our water either and they don't even come to take our old plates away. Definitely do not come here!!! Stay away!!! Meat quality was alright. Don't think it's worth 40 bucks. Overall I would give this spot a 0 star if I could. Solid midtier kbbq saved mostly by its plentiful banchan options. The la galbi, unmarinated ribs, beef tongue were solid options on the more pricey black menu. Also tried the rib eye steak and was underwhelmed. On gold, I tried the brisket, top blade but neither were memorable. The only meat I enjoyed eating were the first 3, but those less picky may find otherwise. The mul naemyeon was solid and giant but I prefer MG house's soup base. Interestingly, staff was attentive and actually came and asked me to order more meat, which was nice in an ayce kbbq restaurant. Japchae at the side bar and the radish wraps were spectacular. Having steamed egg on the menu was awesome too (a little overcooked). Oyster mushrooms on the grill as a side dish was a nice touch. And the mexican-style fixings at the side dish bar (cucumber salad, salsa, etc) was an interesting touch and reflective of the two cultures working this restaurant. Staff was busy but very nice. When cooked to medium rare, the meat melts in your mouth and has incredible flavor on its own. What makes this KBBQ stand out is your ability to get your own sides. You can even make a ssam (Korean lettuce wrap) with their large lettuce and red bean paste! You can request whole garlic too to finish the garnish. Service (4/5): I always love when KBBQs have the button on the side to call over your server. It makes things efficient Ambiance (5/5): This place is sooooo spacious. I'd recommend the SHOULDER BUTT & BULGOGI. Those two items were a safe choice and had the most impact. As an avid K-BBQ explorer, I know "good" meats from "meh" meats. Manna is leaning more towards "meh" as some of the slices of meat tasted a bit flavorless and/or unseasoned. I ordered the "gold buffet" options for my guests and I. There's quite a few interesting choices like baby Octopus, intestines, and more. I was glad I tried the intestines, they were dry, but had the satisfying texture of an elbow macaroni. Manna advertised this place as a buffet but the buffet options were anemic. They served dry, reheated chicken and bland salad. Service was amazing, we had helpful waiting staff. I only got annoyed with an older Korean lady who was kind of passive-aggressive with a member of our table. The music was so nostalgic. They played classic 2010s music to which we jammed to all evening long. I enjoyed the good vibes and large tables. Similar to a hotpot, each table has a grill. Oh, and the bathrooms were gross. Highlights: giant beef rib (1pc per 2 ppl), pork jowl, the beef rib finger, and the marinated short rib, and LA Galbi I really love their self service sides bar, because who has time to bug waiters every five minutes for more banchan? To start off we came in and ask if the lunch special was still available (19.99)and the employee said yes it is, she lied and at the end of the meal we got charged 29.99 and got told the wrong information. The service was not great, I'll admit I assumed since it was all you can eat, the drinks were self serve but it wasn't so when me and my brother in law got our drinks, the worker came to up to us, scolded us and snatched the drink from my brother in laws hand. No apologies or anything just walked away. The whole time we were waiting to be served but she kept taking her time and ignoring us. She eventually came and took ONE order which was a brisket and didn't even bother to ask if we wanted any drinks or anything else. Also I didn't appreciate the judgement of asking for more brisket and getting a response "you want more brisket" that was very disappointing I thought this was an all you can eat, overall I was very disappointed with this service. Even though they explicitly advertise that they stay open until 11:00 PM, the staff decided they were done at 10:00 PM. They started closing everything down around us and made us feel like a massive inconvenience. We were incredibly rushed to finish our meals, and they came by to close all of our checks an hour early. The meats are outstanding--especially the brisket, which comes out thinly sliced and grills up perfectly tender and flavorful. The rib fingers were another highlight: juicy, rich, and packed with flavor. Honestly, they melt in your mouth. What really sets KB333 apart is their buffet bar. It's not just the usual sides--it's fully stocked with fresh banchan, sauces, and hot dishes that complement the meats perfectly. I loved being able to try a little bit of everything between grilling. Of course, no KBBQ night is complete without drinks, and their soju selection is excellent. We went upstairs to KB 333 Korean Bbq to see if we can use their restroom as we have been going to this place for decade+ when it was still named Manna. I waited a few seconds to look for the staff. There was no one around but customers sitting. The 2 eight year old girls that were with me ran to the restroom as it was an emergency, so I went after them. The public restroom on the second floor was broken and had 1 toilet working with 6 people in line that is how we ended up at KB333 restaurant. When we were walking down the hall to leave, the guy who claimed to be the manager, Don, had the doors shut and was blocking the exit door. He raised his voice at me telling me I should have asked to use the restroom. I apologized and he kept repeating himself. I panicked and was afraid for the 2 girls. He didn't open the door till a few minutes later. He continued to berate me. My husband and I went back the next day to ask for the owner's info but was denied by the same man for that info. My husband, left his contact info with Don. He had told me that I should have controlled my kids from going to the restroom and he was not professional enough to communicate with his demeaning explanations and replies. I was so traumatized by this experience that I had to reach out to LAPD Central division. I even reached out via email to the owner, of the restaurant, Erica Chin, but have not received a reply. I thought, by being a woman , she would understand what I went through. Parking is free with validation which is convenient for the area. We went with the AYCE Gold Menu for 35.99. Highlights were the marinated rib finger, beef top blade, beef belly & the angus seasoned beef. They have a pretty big buffet area with all the veggies, wraps, salad & sauces. They have a surprisingly big assortment of hot dishes too like tteokbokki, gyoza, fried shrimp etc. Another plus was they have tortillas and pico de gallo. The pickled habanero & onions were clutch. I wanted to show some love because I've dined here a few times already & have left satisfied every time. The price for AYCE is not bad for everything you get in LA! The last time I dined was on a Friday night so the cheapest option was their gold menu at $35.99 a person. We ordered beef brisket, beef belly, marinated rib finger & pork belly which were all delicious! They have a salad bar where they have alllll the yummy banchan & more! They have fried food & sushi rolls! I didn't try it but what a cool option to have. They are located on the 3rd floor of the Tokyo Galleria & they have a parking garage with plenty of parking & can validate your parking. Very convenient considering you're in LA. The servers have always been friendly & they're quick! The ambiance is nice with TVs & they were playing hits from the 2010s which was a fun touch.
