Great food, great dranks, great music. The staff is so nice and attentive! Need to come back more often!

Truly love this kbbq place!!! Consistent good food quality and customer service--- actually it just keeps getting better and better!!! Plus a variety of banchan (appetizers!) In terms of overall experience, it is great from: fresh, quality meat to value for money (they offer different menu options from A-D or even E). The ambiance is very friendly, homy, and welcoming. The surroundings include picture of their customers dining or celebrating special occasions and some KPop posters. In terms of service, the waiters/waitresses are attentive and quick in refilling orders or banchan. We also appreciate their assistance in grilling. Customer service is good: friendly, warm, and courteous! The owner, Yorran, is friendly and welcoming. Yorran really takes time to greet and welcome Wi's customers warmly. Try this great KBBQ place! The likelihood of being a repeat customer is high! Our family loves this place!

High meat quality AYCE Korean BBQ spot in Ktown! I visited this spot with some co-workers for lunch on a Monday and it was almost empty, but the atmosphere was still great. The interior felt fun and I liked the pop culture decor. I also like how they take a Polaroid picture of your party if you dine in on your birthday. My group ordered the C set for lunch and it was great since we could order anything from the menu that we wanted. Starting with the banchan, everything was solid. From the creamy potato salad to the crunchy radishes, everything complimented the meat dishes well. For meats, we got pork belly, beef bulgolgi, the tomahawk steak, Wagyu beef belly, spicy octopus, intestines etc. Everything was tasty and the meat quality was very good. I especially loved the tomahawk steak which was juicy and tender. The other side dishes were great as well such as the soup and salad. I really liked the corn cheese which was super cheesy. For price with service charge for lunch, it was about $60 per person. The service here was good and our servers were nice and attentive. For parking, there's a free lot outside that can get full and is a bit tight. Overall, I had a great experience here! I would definitely come back and might want to have my birthday here!

I'm always on the hunt for a go to kbbq place. When my friend took me to Wi, I was so happy because I thought that we finally found our place! This review is not for the food but for the service. First time there, everything was great. Second time there, there was a bit of a problem. On yelp, it says that they close at 11pm so we figured it'd be more than enough time even if we went at 9:30. They warned us going in that their last call was 9:45 but we could eat until 11pm. This was on us so we weren't too upset about this. We told them it was okay and put in all of our orders once we sat down. They told us that everything stopped at 9:45 including drinks and even refilling of side dishes which I thought was weird but didn't really let it bother me too much. What did bother me was how they started grilling our meats. They quickly covered our grills with different types of meat so that we could quickly eat. We were feeling the pressure as soon as the first couple meats were being cooked because they wouldn't leave our table! I was trying to enjoy dinner..and not a cheap dinner, with a friend when they were literally all up in our grill. Soon, our grill wasn't enough and they said that they were going to cook our other meats on another grill. Mind you, it's not even 10 yet. But what really annoyed me was a conversation I overheard behind me in Korean. They were talking about how we wouldn't be able to finish all the meats especially within the hour that was left. I didn't appreciate them talking behind our backs. By 10:35 the restaurant was cleaned and most of the workers went home. One worker continued to lurk behind us while the other went outside to wait us out on the curb. 10:42 the music turned off while we were still in there finishing up. Every single non-verbal "quickly stop eating and leave" was thrown at us. We quickly finished and stepped out. By 10:53, the restaurant was closed and the last person came out. I understand people wanting to go home and how annoying last minute customers can be, but if you say you close at 11...please close at 11. Also, don't talk about your customers behind their back because they just might understand you.

Honestly one of the better kkbq spots that I've been to and trust I've been to quite a few. The hospitality is amazing and the service is right behind it. With a good selection of meats and drinks as well as their ban chan. I definitely recommend this restaurant especially if its your birthday, they do little light shows and their energy is fun !

I can see why this place is popular (lots of tiered options, reasonably priced, good service), but I didn't find it great. I tend to go to AYCE kbbq spots so I'm familiar that the quality is never anything to write home about. However, I found most of the meats dry. We got the second tier and ordered the following: Brisket: DRY!!! My husband usually eats so much brisket but he didn't even want to finish the one portion we had. Pork belly: We got both the thick and thin cuts and it was good! Rib finger: This is usually my favorite cut, but the marinated one was so salty. The meat itself was good though. Overall, the service and ambiance was great, but I wouldn't go back. Loved that there was a parking lot though!

Great service, quick seating. Especially like the 75$ combo for all you can eat + drink. Will come again.

I liked this little place. It was definitely worth the price. I came with some friends and got the All You Can Eat, combo A. I really enjoyed the beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, and pork steak, as they were very flavorful and pre marinated. The service was good. Our hot plate got changed and switched out every time it was necessary, without us even having to ask. I came on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was plenty of space, wasn't crowded at all, and we were seated fairly quick. There is a parking lot with free parking available.

We arrived on a Saturday night around 7:45 PM with a party of seven. There was a short wait, but we were seated quickly. Our host, Dani, was incredible! She walked us through the different cuts of premium meats and gave great recommendations. Every single dish that came out was phenomenal! On behalf of our group, I can confidently say this is one of the best AYCE spots around. Great food. Great service. Great times! Huge thanks to Dani and the entire Wi KBBQ team!

Located in a plaza, there is some parking, but we ended up parking in the side street. Upon entering, it was somewhat busy but we were seated right away. We opted for lunch menu set B. We only ended up ordering 3 different meats because we got full off the portions and banchans and sides. All the meats were good quality. Brisket was nice and marbled. Loved the corn cheese and egg soufflé. My favorite banchans were the pickled onion and thinly cut daikon. It does get pretty loud as you are seated pretty closely to other parties. Overall a solid place for AYCE KBBQ.

nice kbbq place w parking, we got option B and it came with fountain drink which I think is a good deal. our server song eun was really nice and would make sure to check in on us from time to time, end of meal they handed us free lotte cookie which was delicious! love how this place has parking, would def come back!

Fell in love with this place! They had everything we wanted so many meats we got menu C during lunch. Server was so attentive and kind, everyone was doing their best to make our experience so great. We will definitely come back with a bigger group so we can try all that they have. Loved all the details they had to their decorations and their plates they served.

Ask the Community - Wi Korean BBQ

Do they serve party of one?

As of march 22, 2024 do they offer ayce on sunday lunch and what is the starting price?

Are you able to accommodate very large groups - like 20-25 people?

Yes we can! But it depends on what day and the time. If you want to make a reservation then the sooner is better! Since we usually have other reservations as well!

Someone in my party has a peanut and shellfish allergy - can you accommodate this?

We dont use any peanut in any of our dressings/sauce, and we don't serve shellfish here

If we are coming in for a party of 7 or more, and get the unli meat and drinks, would it possible for us to pay separately?

We accept 3 credit cards per group, so It is possible to pay separately but not individually

If we choose to do the all you can drink option, does everyone at the table have to do it? My BF is sober but a few of us would still like to get the AYC drink option.

At least most people have to get the All you can drink! But if that person is the designated driver, he is not required to do so

Is it possible that we could use the refrigerator to store a birthday cake while having dinner?

Of course! It would be our pleasure to have you guys celebrate your birthday here! We can store your cake in the refrigerator! Don't worry! ^^

How is parking in the location? Is it fairly busy week nights, self parking/valet only, is street parking available?

Wi do have parking at the location. The restaurant is located inside a plaza, there is a fairly good amount of parking spots but they are taken fairly fast during weekends. During weekdays most of the time they are available, also I think there is… Read more

How are we charged if we come with a group less than 4?

We include the tip for groups of 4 people or more

If my daughter has food allergies and unable to eat here, will she still get charged for coming with us?

Is she doesn't eat anything(including our side dishes, meat or rice) then she won't be charged for it

    Reservations for large parties?

It is possible but we accept for parties of 7 people or more, also It depends on the time frame since another party could have made the reservation at that time

With ayce and drink is it really for groups of 4 or more?

Yes, the AYCED is only available for groups of 4 or more

Do you do anything special for birthday celebrant?

Yes we do! Wi love to sing happy birthday for the special person!

Neg test ok if no vaccine?

It is accepted as long as the negative test came out in up to 3 days

Do you guys have outdoor dinning? And if yes do you still need prove for full vaccination? Or is a 24hr negative Covid test acceptable?

    No outdoor sitting.

Do they charge 15/person if you don't finish the rice or steamed egg or is it only for the meats?

    Only for the meats!

Do you allow party of one? If so, is there extra cost or specific days?

Our AYCE starts with 2 people and more

Is beer + soju tower available at the moment?

Yes! We do have our somektower right now

    Is ACYE available again?

Yes, we are doing ayce right now indoors :)

I enjoy the squash and potatoes that they put in their noodles though sometimes the potato is less mushy/cooked through than what I prefer. The portion sizes are generous so definitely come hungry or you can share as well. I've tried their bossam and jowl combo as well and both are definitely great in their own way, but I absolutely love the minced garlic sauce that comes with the jowl. The jowl is a fattier cut while the bossam is meatier.

I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. The bowls were large and came out piping hot. It was a satisfying meal and not too heavy. The price point was on the pricey side. Our waiter told us business has not been the same post covid. Some dishes are between $40-$60. I asked for a soup and they were able to make it less spicy. My friend got a soup with dumplings in it. He put a good amount of soy sauce to give the broth some life. Also, the banchan is on point. We asked for a refill and devoured the second portions. If you wanna impress friends with Korean food, bring them here! Its a casual place.

You may find a few of the side dishes not to your style, but most people will most likely find something that you really enjoy. For instance, I think the acorn side salad is absolutely delicious and saucy while the seasoned soybean paste is full of flavor and perfect with the barley rice. For the pricing, it feels like a steal. And has been consistent ever since I first had it back a few years ago. We've taken to go boxes each time I've went because it's so filling. Totally recommended!

In fact, we regularly brought visitors here. They raved about how good the spare ribs were and even insisted that their last meal before LA should be at Ham Ji Park.  Here's my belated review of what I consider the best spare ribs in LA. From the moment the Korean-style spare ribs arrived at the table, it was clear this was a dish worth savoring. Each rib bore a beautifully charred exterior--deeply caramelized without a hint of bitterness--offering that irresistible smoky aroma the moment it was placed before us. The glaze was nothing short of spectacular. A perfect balance of sweet and spicy, it clung to the meat with a glossy sheen that promised flavor in every bite. There was just enough heat to make your taste buds sit up and pay attention, but it never overwhelmed the deeper, richer notes of the sweet components. But what truly set these ribs apart was the texture. Beneath the charred surface lay meat so tender it practically fell off the bone with the gentlest tug of a fork. Each bite was juicy and succulent, the result of careful cooking and a respect for quality ingredients. Ham Ji Park, you will be missed. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the food.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
