I was really disappointed with my experience here. I walked about a mile arrived excited to try the restaurant, only to be rejected that they dont accept parties of one/solo diner. I understand that restaurants have policies, but excluding individual customers entirely does not feel welcoming or hospitable, feels like maximizing revenue per table is more important than serving every customer. Plenty of restaurants are happy to welcome solo diners, but unfortunately, this was not one of them. I left feeling unwelcome and will not be returning. We had to take care of business in K-town so I decided to look up a good AYCE KBBQ place. Came across Wu Korean BBQ. I thought this looks old school, maybe it's more authentic so we came. Let's start with the ambiance: Not your fancy date night spot but if your date is down for a serious meat throw-down then ambience can take a back seat! The walls are full of Polaroid pics of past clients. Food: the portions are big. We went with B special and order only beef except I wanted to try their spicy chicken bulgogi. #1 Sliced briskets were so fresh so that's my personal favorite. #2 Beef bulgogi was tender if after being grilled for some time which was a pleasant surprise that it didn't turn hard or chewy. #15 Marinated beef was fine, also tender just not my personal favorite. #4 Spicy chicken bulgogi It was also tender and spicy. No complaints here either. Service: Last but not least, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a genuine happy and cheerful smile by the waitress/hostess, Kelly. She's was nice, smiley, patiently explained the different specials. When she brought the foods. She would put the meats on the grille for us. High meat quality AYCE Korean BBQ spot in Ktown! I visited this spot with some co-workers for lunch on a Monday and it was almost empty, but the atmosphere was still great. The interior felt fun and I liked the pop culture decor. I also like how they take a Polaroid picture of your party if you dine in on your birthday. My group ordered the C set for lunch and it was great since we could order anything from the menu that we wanted. Starting with the banchan, everything was solid. From the creamy potato salad to the crunchy radishes, everything complimented the meat dishes well. For meats, we got pork belly, beef bulgolgi, the tomahawk steak, Wagyu beef belly, spicy octopus, intestines etc. Everything was tasty and the meat quality was very good. I especially loved the tomahawk steak which was juicy and tender. The other side dishes were great as well such as the soup and salad. I really liked the corn cheese which was super cheesy. For price with service charge for lunch, it was about $60 per person. The service here was good and our servers were nice and attentive. Came last night (7/15/26) with a friend. We arrived at 9:30. They told us that even though they are open until 11pm. We needed to order EVERYTHILNG by 10pm! So we risked it and sat down. 10 minutes after ordering 6 items. We were told we had to close our ticket and pay. They brought the ticket and we ran our cards. They then literally pressured us every two minutes to sign the ticket. Hovering over the table until we did. Super unpleasant experience. Change your hours if you're going to treat paying customers like that. read more

I tend to go to AYCE kbbq spots so I'm familiar that the quality is never anything to write home about. However, I found most of the meats dry. We got the second tier and ordered the following: Brisket: DRY!!! My husband usually eats so much brisket but he didn't even want to finish the one portion we had. Pork belly: We got both the thick and thin cuts and it was good! Rib finger: This is usually my favorite cut, but the marinated one was so salty. The meat itself was good though. The banchan (side dishes) are so good. One of us asked for more because it is so darn good. The waiter is so helpful, kind, nice and professional. He even told and recommend us to get the BTS Sliced Pork Belly and Blackpink brisket once we are almost done with everything. Forget to take pictures of the rest of the meats we ordered. Other all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurants charges you for side dishes. I forgot to mentioned that this place charges you if you have any leftover food. It is like $15 per person. I liked this little place. It was definitely worth the price. I came with some friends and got the All You Can Eat, combo A. I really enjoyed the beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, and pork steak, as they were very flavorful and pre marinated. The service was good. Our hot plate got changed and switched out every time it was necessary, without us even having to ask. I'm always on the hunt for a go to kbbq place. When my friend took me to Wi, I was so happy because I thought that we finally found our place! This review is not for the food but for the service. First time there, everything was great. Second time there, there was a bit of a problem. On yelp, it says that they close at 11pm so we figured it'd be more than enough time even if we went at 9:30. They warned us going in that their last call was 9:45 but we could eat until 11pm. This was on us so we weren't too upset about this. We told them it was okay and put in all of our orders once we sat down. They told us that everything stopped at 9:45 including drinks and even refilling of side dishes which I thought was weird but didn't really let it bother me too much. What did bother me was how they started grilling our meats. They quickly covered our grills with different types of meat so that we could quickly eat. We were feeling the pressure as soon as the first couple meats were being cooked because they wouldn't leave our table! I was trying to enjoy dinner..and not a cheap dinner, with a friend when they were literally all up in our grill. Soon, our grill wasn't enough and they said that they were going to cook our other meats on another grill. Mind you, it's not even 10 yet. But what really annoyed me was a conversation I overheard behind me in Korean. They were talking about how we wouldn't be able to finish all the meats especially within the hour that was left. I didn't appreciate them talking behind our backs. By 10:35 the restaurant was cleaned and most of the workers went home. One worker continued to lurk behind us while the other went outside to wait us out on the curb. 10:42 the music turned off while we were still in there finishing up. Every single non-verbal "quickly stop eating and leave" was thrown at us. We quickly finished and stepped out. By 10:53, the restaurant was closed and the last person came out. I understand people wanting to go home and how annoying last minute customers can be, but if you say you close at 11...please close at 11. Also, don't talk about your customers behind their back because they just might understand you. read more

Located in a plaza, there is some parking, but we ended up parking in the side street. Upon entering, it was somewhat busy but we were seated right away. We opted for lunch menu set B. We only ended up ordering 3 different meats because we got full off the portions and banchans and sides. All the meats were good quality. Brisket was nice and marbled. Loved the corn cheese and egg soufflé. My favorite banchans were the pickled onion and thinly cut daikon. It does get pretty loud as you are seated pretty closely to other parties. Wi KBBQ was surprisingly a really good kbbq place. One of the first I've tried in ktown but the food and service was top notch. I think tbh most kbbq meat tastes the same but they do make thier meat taste really good [B special - $37.99/person]. Parking was OK, there was a lot outside that always seems full but its free (i think haha). What differentiates Wi with other spots I feel is the AMAZING service they provided for our group of 8. We reserved for my friends bday and the entire experience was very fun. From them consistently cleaning up our tables / changing grills, offering things when we need, it was clear that they care about our experience. For the bday, they came out with a crazy setup, dimmed the lights, and sang happy bday with the entire restaurant. They then gifted him a mug. READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO! The fine print on the menu is small enough that you will miss it. They advertise a 2-hour max time limit, but last call is 1 hour and 20 minutes into your time. Then, they will be so rude as to rush you and hover around till it sours your entire experience altogether. I had a terrible experience here because my large party of 8 made a reservation at 8 pm and was not seated until 8:20 pm. They did not communicate to us that last call would start from reservation time. Meaning they only gave us an hour to sit down and order food with a 2-entree limit each time. On top of that, they updated hours (closes at 10 pm on Thurs) so around 9:45 pm they again rushed us to cook our meats quickly, constantly badgering us about how our time was up, and that we would have to pay for all the wasted entrees. To comment on the food itself, much of the quality was inconsistent and the grills were not properly heated. Multiple orders were brought out incorrectly. My husband and I saw that this was a pretty popular place these days for KBBQ so we decided to check it out. When we arrived the first thing that kind of swayed us was the parking. It is pretty difficult to find parking and the lot is pretty small. We circled a few times and finally got lucky inside. We arrived before 6 thinking we would beat the dinner rush but we still had to wait. We only waited around 20 minutes. Once we got inside that table was covered with banchans. So if you were starving this will all be devoured quickly. All the meats were pretty good but my husband and I really loved wagyu beef belly and The WOO Galbi. The Woo Galbi just melts in your mouth. It was AMAZING. That is probably the only reason why we would go back to this place again. The only down side is that this place gets pretty busy and the staff makes you feel rushed. While we were eating the staff brought the table next to us their check. The guy asked when they got there (because you are given 2 hours to eat. Stated on their menus and table). They still had another 45 minutes left and they were eating. Then the server came to tell them it was last call for them when they still had time. I didn't think too much of it but the same thing happened to my husband and I. So if you want to enjoy your meal and not feel rushed this may not be the spot for you. Came here to eat dinner with 6 people, celebrating 3 birthdays. The quality of meat is decent. My party ordered the B special, which included the majority of the meats that we wanted. You can only order 3 meats at a time, which I initially had concerns about with a bigger party, but the portions are large, so it turned out fine. I'd recommend another grill or some changes to the grill itself. When we got our grill changed, it wasn't centered, so all the grease was dripping on one side of the table. The service is pretty good, but it felt like there was a "too many cooks in the kitchen" situation. One server would come up and ask if we wanted to order more meat, and then the second they left, not even a minute later, another server would ask the same question. Sometimes they come over to cook the meat, but it wasn't consistent, and we were getting confused as to who was supposed to cook. It was also a little frustrating that when we turned up the heat to cook new meat, the servers kept coming back and turning the heat to the lowest setting. It was a constant "fight" that went on for most of the dinner. They also kept putting the tongs and scissors on some food plates we were still eating off of. The birthday celebration was very enjoyable. They turn off the lights, hand out light-up sticks, and sing Happy Birthday. If you bring a cake, they keep it in the fridge and bring it out on a birthday cake display. They also take pictures of the group and hand out Polaroids to the entire group, and place them on their wall. The keychains provided to the birthday people were also super cute. Possibly my new favorite KBBQ spot for quality of meat and price. I'm so surprised I've never heard of this place until now. I've lived in Ktown and have had my fair share of Korean bbq all around LA, so when I came across this place on Reddit, I wanted to try it out. The parking lot was packed but luckily there was street parking right across the street next to the police station. Felt pretty safe because of that. The wait was only 30 minutes and we were seated right away. We chose option B which included a good amount of meats and a fountain drink. Something that I appreciate since I don't know other places that do that. Once we ordered our meats and side dishes, I was immediately blown away by the quality of the brisket, finger meats, and the pork belly. The color was absolutely red and had a good ratio of meat to fat. I prefer this cause some places have served meats that look on the darker side meaning the meat has been sitting out for a while but this place, no. Their sides were fairly large and I didn't feel the need to always ask for larger portions. They were a bit busy when we went but I can tell the service was up to my standards and highly recommend this place. I also really loved how they celebrate birthdays here and will provide a complimentary chocopie but beware they do check ID's. Wi kbbq offers 3 different meat tiers. We selected the first tier that came with the standard brisket and pork belly options which was what we mainly wanted. The food was good and the service was great! Even with a full restaurant. It was someone's bday and they turned it into a club it was so awesome!!!
